Chatter being replaced with PhanxChat - be sure to delete the Chatter folder when updating RealUI
New Option: Reverse UF Bars - make health/power bars act like the default UI (ie. bars empty as you lose health)

Installation / Updates

You won't need to rename any folders.
Installation is a simple 1-click install process.

New Installation / Minor (8.#) Update Procedure:
Step 1: Move your current WTF and Interface folders to a backup folder.

If you are updating, moving the WTF folder is not needed.

Step 2: Copy RealUI's Interface folder to your World of Warcraft folder.

You won't lose any of your settings when updating RealUI.
Visit the Change Log to find out what has changed.

Revision (r#) Update Procedure:
Step 1: Copy RealUI's Interface folder to your World of Warcraft folder.

Make sure to overwrite all existing files and folders.
You won't lose any of your settings when updating RealUI.
Visit the Change Log to find out which addons have been modified.

Many "under the hood" updates for Warlords of Draenor.
DBM bar positions are now controled by RealUI. (You can go to /real -> Settings -> Addon Control to disable this.)
UI scale options are now accessable from the Blizz video options.
You can now use /cpuProfiling to see RealUI's current CPU usage.

AddOns
cargBags_Nivaya now supports the new Reagent Bank.
Add support for 20 and 30 person layouts for flex raids.

Unit Frames
Added Arena Frames (Limited testing)
Add totem bar under player frame

Modules
The Rare notifier will now only play a sound if at least 20 seconds has past.
The World Boss tracker will now only list defeated bosses.
Honor and Conquest are no longer explisitly listed in the currency tracker.
AddonListAdv enhances the new AddonList with saveable addon profiles that you can easily swap between.
The Stat Display has been update for the new stats, and will now only list relevant stats for your class. (e.g. A priest won't see Bonus Armor.)

Automatic Scaling

Working on implementing automatic scaling into Version 0.3.0. You will be able to choose any resolution and UI scale you like and RealUI will automatically position everything correctly for you. Though don't expect a release for another few weeks yet

First off very nice UI, been using it for raiding now for a few weeks and it's working flawlessly.

There is however a few things I wanna change, I have tried on my own and for the most part succeeded but some things remain a mystery to me.

The Unitframes for the player, target and pet are to me not visible enough. I often miss when I'm low on mana or the like and I managed to change Pitbull as I wanted it but the bar and the health/power arrows (which I assume are kgPanels) seem to stay, where do I need to look to find a way to turn those off?

And with the new update the clock, microbar and guild/friends/bag/durability SLDT has moved to the bottom. How do I move them back up to their original positions?

Thanks for your time in answering these questions. Really don't wanna look elsewhere since this UI is everything I want aside from a few cosmetic changes.

How would I make the self unit frame and all the other stuff around that frame disappear when nothing is targeted?

Hi,

I would like to integrate the addon titan panel, however, Titan Panel lays down both the top and bottom of the interface. Say I can not go on "Meters" and the other lower access functions.

How can I manage this, that the RealUI adapts to Titan Panel?

  1. Type: /kgpanels config
  2. Expand Active Panels
  3. Delete all panels starting with "UF"


And with the new update the clock, microbar and guild/friends/bag/durability SLDT has moved to the bottom. How do I move them back up to their original positions?
All those positions can be adjusted through: /sldt
The MicroMenu is anchored to the SLDT Clock so will move with it. If you wish to change it's position, you can do so through kgPanels (Panel name "MicroMenu")

  1. Type: /pb
  2. Select "Layout editor"
  3. Drop down "Current layout" and select "Player"
  4. Go to the "Faders" tab
  5. Set "Minimum opacity" to 0%
  6. Set "Out-of-combat opacity" to 0%

You can adjust Titan Panel to only have a top panel, iirc. Otherwise, you'll want to go into the "/sldt" options window and move the info texts up a bit, then go into "/kgpanels config" and move the panel named "Meters_Toggle" up a bit.

I have run into an other problem, about Icehud. It's perfectly fine when I dont do any chanenlling spells, but once I channel, the latency indicator in the cast bar looks odd, I dont really know how to describe it, it's like, flips upward with respect to the x axis. Try it out with a caster you'll see what I'm saying. I've tried to redrag the .Lua file to WTF, didnt work. I think I got the problem after I updated Icehud? I dont really know lol. Thank you very much again

In Kgpanels, how would I go about making something hidden when I come into the world. Example:

I have Button1. When I press button1 it makes something dissapear but it also makes button2 appear. Well button2 is in a place that only makes sense if button1 has been pressed. But when I load the world, button2 is there, when it shouldn't be, because button1 hasn't been pressed yet. Make sense?

Did some quick testing and couldn't replicate it. You'll have to PM me a screenshot so I can see exactly what's happening :P

In Button2's OnLoad event, add:
self:RegisterEvent("PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD")

In it's OnEvent event, add:
self:Hide()

Alright, I see the problem with IceHUD now. Best to stick with the version that came with RealUI until the IceHUD author gets this bug sorted out :P

Ahh, but you can do anything in kgPanels

Though this is a guess, you could try:
  1. Create a new panel
  2. Set it to Intercept Mouse Clicks
  3. Make sure it's Locked
  4. Go to it's Scripts > OnClick
  5. In there enter this code:

Code:
if not pressed then 
  SlashCmdList.GRID("standby")
  StaticPopup1Button1:Click()
end
Click Accept

Now you should be able to click on this panel to toggle Grid's Standby on/off
