New Installation / Revision Update

You won't need to rename any folders.
Installation is a simple 1-click install process.

New Installation Procedure:

Step 1: Move your current WTF and Interface folders to a backup folder.

Step 2: Copy RealUI's Interface folder to your World of Warcraft folder.

Revision (r#) Update Procedure:

Step 1: Copy RealUI's Interface folder to your World of Warcraft folder.

Note 1: Make sure to overwrite all existing files and folders.
Note 2: You won't lose any of your settings when updating RealUI.
Note 3: Visit the Change Log to find out which addons have been modified.

FAQ

Q: How do I change a particular setting in the UI?
A: A lot of UI elements are created via RealUI. To access these options, go to the Game Menu button (bottom left of screen) and click Options.
Other settings can be adjusted through individual AddOns options, usually found in the Interface options > AddOns tab.

Q: Action Bars / Grid / another addon keeps on resetting it's position after I move it, what's up?
A: The HuD Config utility found on the Game Menu button (bottom left of screen) allows you to reposition a lot of the UI elements.
To manually position an AddOn, go to the Game Menu button, click AddOn Control, then untick Pos on the AddOn you're trying to move.

Q: Nameplate font size keeps resetting after I change it, what's up?
A: Go to the Game Menu button (bottom left of screen), click AddOn Control, then untick Style on KuiNameplates.

I dislike where they are and i'd like to move them lower. But it seems there is no option to do this. Could someone enlighten me as to how to move or remove the player and target frames/portraits.

Probably the easiest way is oUF: MovableFrames. Install then just type /omf

I can not see debuff icons on targets like moonfire. And Raven does not show me the timer for moonfire too. This is just first findigs as I decided to start a new main. Thank you for that. I believe Real used to use Tiddy Plates and it allowed for stacking on multiple targets. I have looked through all the mods and not sure, if there is a option for this. So I am wondering if its possible to stack the name plates? That way they arent spread all over the screen on multiple targets when targeting just one. Thank you for any help

Hey Brad. I think this is a setting in the WoW Interface options now. Esc > Interface > Nameplates > Something.

But RealUI ICEhud is still not working. Moonfire debuff bar is not showing when I cast a spell on some target. Could you help pls ? But.. is there a way to put some UI elements in the "foreground"? I installed DBM and it (thankfully) alerts me of boss abilities, but the text of these alerts blocks is sometimes written on top of the "energy bars" of some boss fights. e.g. Amber-Shaper Un'sok in the Heart of Fear Raid or (i think its) Taran Zhu in the Shado-Pan Monastery where a bar is filling up or getting low. I just want the bar to be "on top" of the text if this explains what i actually wants Maybe someone understands what i want Thanks in advance! Great UI! Cheers

In case you haven't figured it out, You can type /grid and then click Layout and change your 10 man groups or 25 man groups to show 40 players with or without pets. Also I recommend just changing 25 man groups to show 40 and asking Sha or Galleon raid leaders to switch it to 25 man raid if it isn't already. Hope this helps.

Someone had the same issue a while ago and you responded to them telling them to change something don't remember exactly but I remember a while ago that I did it and nothing happened. Would love to know how to get rid of it cause it is so annoying. Also I haven't got the latest Update for Realui if that fixes it please let me know, Haven't felt up to download all my addons and fixing stuff up again with a clean install.
