RepChanger (Repwatch)
Version: 1.03
by: Travisstorma [More]
Just a very simple mod that changes the rep that you are watching based on the rep that you receive.

Works with default rep bar and should others too.

Faction "Guild"

First let me say that this addon has always worked great for me and I wouldn't want to miss it. That's why I want to ask if there would be an option to, say, ignore the Guild-Reputation gain. Because it wouldn't switch to the reputation I have with my guild, but instead create a bar for faction named "Guild", which, of course, doesn't exist. Aside from that.. Wonderful addon, thank you.

So is it switching to a guild reputation? I can't test this at the moment, but when I first wrote this the guild rep event didn't happen quite like the others. I'll post an update that should ignore the guild event switch.

It will switch to the faction "Guild", not to.. say.. "Guardians of the Alliance" (or whatever the guild's name may be). But a faction named "Guild" of course doesn't exist, so it always displays it as having 0/3000 reputation, instead of displaying the, say, 2146/6000 I have with my guild.

I'm not sure how to explain it better. I don't know lua so I don't know what would need to be changed. But I think the addon would have to know the guild's name I'm currently in and then set the reputation to that name instead of switching to "Guild". Otherwise, like it is now, I always end up with 0/3000 reputation. The reputation pane of course still shows the right reputation with my guild, and when I manually set it to watch, the bar says "Guardians of the Alliance - 2146/6000", not "Guild - XXX/XXXX".

I hope this cleared things up. Thanks for the update and fast reply, btw.

Sorry to say this, but neither the first nor the second update worked. It still switches to a nonexistant "guild" faction instead of my guild's name, setting my repbar to 0/3000 neutral rep each time I gain guild reputation.
