INTRODUCTION

Due to the overwhelming amount of people asking for it i decided to finally release caelUI to the public.

caelUI is a very light, all-inclusive UI at least for dps and tank classes.

It doesn't include addons like decursive and such but feel free to add them.

caelUI has absolutely no in game configuration, meaning that if you don't have a minimum of knowledge of Lua, this is not the UI you're looking for.

CaelUI has been written to work with the enGB/US locale, OTHER LOCALES AREN'T SUPPORTED.

I'm open to any suggestion that might improve it but i give no guarantee that anything you request will ever be included.


INSTALLATION

Delete your WTF folder. (make a backup of yours before deleting)
Remove any addons that might interfere with this UI. (examples: other actionbar addons, unitframes etc...)
Copy the content of this package to your AddOns folder.
Start the game, define your screen resolution, reloadui.


ADDONS LIST

KNOWN BUGS
  • caelCooldown pulse does not filter unneeded cooldowns or show the right cooldowns when skills with shared cooldown are used (heroic strike/cleave for example).

/framestack should help identifying the panels in question

sure there is a way, but you'll have to do it inside the lua files
addons you'll have to change (afaik):
- caelPanels
- caelChat
- caelCombatlog


no guarantee that these are all though

Scale

Hi ceal i love your UI one of the best iv used today but i was wondering if there was a way to scale the whole ui without using ui scale in the options as i dnt use threat or dps meters so im left with blank spaces on the edge and would like to scale it to fit my screen.

That would be caelLoot.lua, you can delete lines 213 to 216 which is destroying anything grey below 1 gold worth.

caelBags plug in

congrats on a great compilation and layout. I'm returning to WoW after a few years, and your UI has made the return pleasurable. Except, and there's always an "except" isn't there, the bag plug in is eating the grey items. I can see where this is useful at the higher levels, but since I'm starting from scratch, I need all the coppers my mage can get.

Thanks for the updates, this is by far my favourite compilation, have been using it on and off for years. Much appreciated, as long as it works for 5.3 I can't seem myself changing for many months

Ok, but problem is gone with the change, so dont care.

Have you taken a eye on caelFactions with the Bonusrep or caelCooldowns? Or is it a McBloed only problem, too?
I think the trackingmassagestrings have to be changed, but dont know how exectly.

Yup, using the last version of caelGroupCD, because i had the "double" bars all the times before and wanted to see if it is fixed in the new version, but was bader than before and took a look in the code and not only move the possition of the bars.

Some things i can and have fixed, but i am better in finding the problems
My Lua is more "copypaste", "try and error" and changing some code than real programming ;D

I never could write an addon from zero. but change some existing code is possible.

I love caelGroupCD, think its one of the best for this job.
BUT it shows every CD minimum 2 times, BL or Timewarp up to 10 times at once (in 10man raid, dont tested in 25man). I looked at SpellIDs, thats not the problem.

Example : BL activated, i see up to 10 Cooldownbars with the same CD and Player. Tranq activated, 2 Bars with same CD and Player. Its the same with every Cooldown (Raise Ally, any Hymne, BR.....)

Ok, tested in 25man raid, got 25 Bars with Timewarp/BL.

Looks like it tracks the cast AND the buff, that could be the reason for doubletracking.

And is it possible to ad CombatManaRegen to autostats in caelCore? dont know the api name für this stat.

Edit : OMG, Combatmanaregen done, was just to easy COMBATMANAREGEN

Yeah i kinda never even noticed that, i've been using all in one bags for a very long time so always used the toggle all bags binding.
