TinyDPS  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 5.4.0.1
by: Talyrius, Sideshow
TinyDPS is a lightweight damage and healing meter.

Looking for an addon to measure damage and healing without adversely affecting your gameplay experience? TinyDPS should suit your needs. By excluding unnecessary features (graphs, pie charts, extensive data collection, etc.) and offering a minimalistic interface, TinyDPS attempts to maintain a balance between information and performance.

Usage
  • Options are available by right-clicking on the frame or minimap button.
  • To move the frame or button, while holding the Shift key, click and drag to the desired location.
  • For resizing of the frame, click and drag the bottom-right corner.
  • Toggling frame visibility can be accomplished by clicking on the minimap button or typing /tdps.
  • In addition to the option in the right-click menu (under Fight), all data can be reset by middle-clicking the frame or minimap button. Similarly, the back and forward mouse buttons will allow for quickly switching between displaying overall or just the current fight's damage/healing.
  • Available slash commands (/tdps <command>):
    help or ?, reset or r, damage or d, healing or h, visiblebars <number>, whisper <name>, reportlength <number>
Known Issues and Limitations
  • New spells and abilities introduced in patch 5.0 may not all be tracked correctly yet. Submit a bug report if you encounter such an omission.
Intended behavior:
  • Vehicle/mounted combat data is ignored.
  • Absorbs are added to healing.
  • Unlike damage, healing won't start a new fight.

Updated

note: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/2743694640

It means when you absorb some damage, and the shield goes down after the fight, the absorbs are lost ... When the shield goes down during the fight however, it still works

Don't know if this is intended

@Cayslia
This has been a longstanding issue for any addon that uses Blizzard's UIDropDownTemplate. You should invoke the focus frame from the slash handler (/focus) or through a keybind. As long as you don't use "Set Focus" from the right-click menu on unit frames, taint is irrelevant.

Problem with setting focus

When I enter a pug, I set the tank as my focus (for the purpose of some of my macros) by right clicking on the frames on the left and choosing the focus option. For some reason tinyDPS causes an error the first time I try it and setting focus fails. Second attempt usually works. I'm using raid frames for party option.

Doesn't seem to effect the game performance or addon performance, so only a minor problem. If I'm terribly wrong and it's doing something wacky with my dps score, I might have to apologize to someone using a different addon.

Just remembered I have an addon for bug catching... so here's what I'm talking about.

Date: 2011-05-23 01:00:16
ID: -1
Error occured in: AddOn: TinyDPS
Count: 1
Message: Error: AddOn TinyDPS attempted to call a forbidden function (FocusUnit()) from a tainted execution path.
Debug:
[C]: FocusUnit()
..\FrameXML\UnitPopup.lua:1504: func()
..\FrameXML\UIDropDownMenu.lua:638: UIDropDownMenuButton_OnClick()
[string "*:OnClick"]:1:
[string "*:OnClick"]:1

Like I said, I'm not really worried as long as performance isn't effected.
