Think I'll be doing a pretty major overhaul of the code, as well as completely separate Normal and Highlight styling.

Though I can't recall if Dominos also has the same Macro conditional functionality that Bartender does. If it doesn't, you might not be able to get Dominos to show/hide the same as Bartender does in RealUI.

If you don't do this, it works fine, too, but you'll have two menus on your screen. Otherwise there are no issues concerning those two addons, or at least I didn't notice any

Nope

The API knows where all keybindings, clicks, calls, etc originate from. It's all a part of their taint system. The second something doesn't come from an official Blizzard source, it becomes tainted, and you're screwed

Blizzard has pretty hefty restrictions on Spellbook access.
