IMPORTANT: If you already have a copy of SVUI installed
then you MUST delete any SVUI folders from your "AddOns"
directory BEFORE installing a new one.

To install: Open the downloaded zip file and drop all
containing folders into your install directory
(ie.. "C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/").
Be sure that the 2 addons are enabled from your character select screen.

TO CONFIGURE: Type /sv or /svui for easy game configs!
You can access quick config options by clicking the "Henchman" icon
on the bottom right of the screen (second from the right).

Update: I was working on the rewrite pretty much all weekend and here is what I can comment on at this point...

This whole event had me a little gun shy about diving into a brand new addon engine, but now I'm seriously fired up. I discovered quite a few things I want to implement differently and so far my initial tests of the new framework are performing better than I expected. I can't reveal too much just yet but wanted everyone to know that it's looking really good!

Yea I was going to suggest this back when I first saw this based on Elv, ahh well. Looking forward to however it's rewritten.

You can make an external edit like ElvUI Enhanced or Shadow & Light if you want to use ElvUI as a base. You have the skill to do so. Its alot easier for you to maintain and it helps keep the errors with the respected authors. If you need help just ask on the Tukui forums.

If any of them are reading this then please accept my apology as I did not intend harm by using ElvUI as my template, I also tried to preserve all credit due in several places including the Config windows' credits listing.
I am currently rewriting everything in this package to correct this issue and will release it as soon as I get approval from parties involved.

also outside of shrine the same, and in bgs i gave up after about 10 attempts of changin addons and stuff lol so no idea if its still like it on other chars

I have also been trying to recreate the crash to no avail. I am using the latest build, and have tried on my paladin and hunter (as those are the two examples I have seen most). I use VEM, SVUI, and Auctioneer. I play in windowed fullscreen 1920x1080. Thinking maybe could be an infinite loop somewhere in the UI causing the crash on combat change, but this is only speculation. Maybe information on PC specs could give more clarity to the situation (again just speculation). Just trying to help in anyway I can really.

Had a thought that it may be related to assigning threat/agro at the start of the attack. Not sure if your addon deals with threat in any way but thought I would mention it.

I'm on that version and am not getting any crashes. I do occasionally get a huge lag spike when opening the interface tab to adjust addon settings.
