v5.4.3:
> Updated for 6.1

> Portrait options added for arena frames

> Expand feature will now resize the quest tracker as well as reposition tooltips
> Adjusted lockout abbreviations on the time stat
> Raid leader dock tool is now movable via the [alt-right-click] dock menu
> Various internal fixes, preparing for the transition to curse

v5.4.19:
> Re-styled the "Active" quest tracking header. It's much leaner and to the point.
> Quest item bar will now hide along with the tracker

v5.4.1899:
> Added new config category, "Screen". This is where you will find the familiar options for auto-scaling and multi-monitor but also the new ADVANCED screen adjustments (USE WITH GREAT CAUTION). The new settings allow you to forcibly change the overall scale calculation used by most elements, and for those of you having issues with getting the UI to fit perfectly on various non-standard screens, you can set your own width and height used for UI positioning.
> Fixed/adjusted combat text font (Scrolling)
> BG stats are working again
> Revamped quest tracker items. They are now anchored to their own position-able bar and can display more than one item at a time. The issue of items disappearing on use has been resolved (though not tested extensively).
> Left and right dock windows can now be hidden independently of each other by using their respective corner buttons.
> Bugs noted by all of you in the comments have been resolved. If there are any outstanding issues, or if I have missed something please let me know.

> Re-structured the options for unitframe aura types (buffs, debuffs, aurabars) in an effort to make their settings a little more readable.
> Added an option under (/sv)->General->Misc->Save Draggable. This allows you to toggle the saving of draggable frames. Keep in mind that when this feature is enabled, the default frame "snapping" of blizzard frames will not happen. This option will be disabled by default.

> Fixed Monk issue generating many lua errors

> Removed tamable indicators from tooltips
> Restyled the garrison minimap button a bit

v5.2: MANY CHANGES!!!
-------------------------------------
Added/Redesigned
-------------------------------------
> Raid frames are now singular, meaning there will no longer be separate frames for sizes 10/15/20/25/40. In the config menu you will only see one category called "Raid".

> Docks have undergone major changes to how they are built and function.
NOTE 1: Before, docklets and dock features were created in static positions (ie... chat tabs on the left, profession tools and henchmen on the right..etc) and the dock holders were essentially just anchored placeholders with little purpose other than a starting point for child elements. Now every aspect of each docking cluster is dynamic and interchangeable.
NOTE 2: Utilizing the new dock system is restricted to internal code at this time. If you have questions please ask me and I will walk you through them.
NOTE 3: I have added an alt-click menu to each dock icon that allows you to re-order its position in it's current dock.
NOTE 4: All movement changes are now being saved and retained per character.

> Dock alerts (ie.. chat edit box and Laborer "End Mode" button) are attractive now ;)

> Micro Menu bar has been relocated to the upper left corner of the screen, mouse over it to show (can be changed in settings)

> Stats have been changed slightly
NOTE 1: The top stat bar is now anchored to the top center of the screen (was top left)
NOTE 2: The top stat bar is also NAKED by default (ie.. no stats showing/assigned). I felt like having too much on screen for new users was confusing.
NOTE 3: Backgrounds are disabled now by default (can still be changed in settings)
NOTE 4: Changed the default stat assignment for the bottom bar to improve asthetics. (Courtesy of Penguinsane)

> Installer updated. Now when making aura layout selections you will see dummy aura icons and bars to help visualize the changes.

> Slightly re-styled tooltips to make them less intrusive by removing the POW graphic from the bottom of the frame. Seemed like too much at times.

> NEW: Round style for minimaps that use the "rotateMinimap" interface option.

> REMOVED: WorldMap movement alpha settings. Blizzard has a built-in function for this now under your Interface options.

-------------------------------------
Fixes
-------------------------------------
> WorldMap issues with elements becoming unclickable are fixed
> WorldMap tooltip issues are fixed
> Bag slot coloring has been revised. Specialty bag colors will now take priority over rarity of the item.
> Garrison map icon is properly anchored now
> Auto-Quest features are working as they should
> Nameplate issues should be resolved
> In combat messages should no longer cause errors
> Auctionhouse styles revised
> Inventory coin icons are working
> Inventory quest icons/borders are working
> Added dock option to change dock button sizes
> Character stats pane issue fixed
> Raid leader tool bugs fixed (if you even noticed them)
> Skada dock issues fixed

Doing the old Cataclysm quest Salhet the Tactician. You take control of a small pack of lions which you have to move around the battlefield and kill off hyenas as they spawn. I haven't done that one in years, so I maybe be remembering it wrong... but it SEEMS like the camera is broken.

By that, I mean you can kill off the hyenas that spawn to the left, but any that are out of view on the right can't be targeted because you can't zoom or pan the camera.

This might be a blizzard thing though, but I figured I'd mention it. An easy workaround is to kill a few then exit the "vehicle" so it aborts the sequence and start over. You save progress with each attempt, so it takes 5 or 6 tries, but you can still do the quest.
If I remember right this is an issue with the base blizzard UI, it's been a while for me as well but I distinctly remember the camera being in a fixed position.

I haven't seen comment about this, so I don't know if I did something wrong with it or whatever.

Re: Re: Buffs

http://i.imgur.com/sHvqoMy.jpg

Yes something like that. SS above, right now I have it kinda messy but basically where you see Elkano in the middle would be where the consolidated and icon buffs will be.

Then on the target should look more like my portrait buffs, where I see the debuff icons and then below buff icons for an enemy or just like the portrait when it is a friendly. Where I had tried to make the two the same the bars ended up off page above the target portrait. I kinda gave up since mostly on boss fights I can see their things on the boss target portraits.

Make some sense?

If not I can try and capture another shot when we do another boss...sorry for the messy blackouts in advance.

fwiw overachiever causes the achievement window to lose its ability to move.

altaholic doesnt seem to be skinning completely/properly within your ui

and tomtom your stuck with dual location boxes (the one under the minimap + tom toms) or removing the one under the minimap but then losing the shfit+click pos to chat function which is very useful.

(plus tom tom & svui both posting coords inside the map itself which looks bad and is redundant. Not sure if its removeable but needs to be on one end or the other)

Just some issues ive noticed when trying to use all 3 very popular addons which caused me to remove all of them for now.

ackis recipe list is another which i didnt see in your list under styleomatic but would be great if you can add.

I have been MIA a few days so i have ALOT of reading to catch up on and am eager to do so :P

hopeh all is well mung :P

Right now aura bars don't separate buffs and debuffs (which you may already have realized). but that is changing soon.

Aura icons and bars are among the many things changing in the upcoming redesign I am currently working on. This includes layouts and more display options than before. Keep an eye on these comments for updates on the project which may only be a week or two from being ready.

I would prefer if you posted testing version bugs to the github issues page. But I will go ahead and answer these here so that you don't have to rewrite them this time.

The gear spec tool is in the wrong location at the moment. I will be moving it to the core so you wont have to be without it.

Profiles are unfinished at the moment, which is why I temporarily removed the "Save As" feature.

I'm not going to say no but this is not on my todo list for release unless I get enough requests for it. As of right now though only you and one other person have asked for this.

Is this using the "Simple" theme by chance?

Re: question afk screen

go into configs (/sv) then look under "General" -> "Fun Stuff" and disable "Awesome AFK Screen"

I got problems with a long auction house search where the afk message stop my search off. So I need a option to turn the afk movie screen off.

Buffs

I have been using this UI for a bit now and really do love the work. I do have a question about the buffs and setting that up or making options for them

I prefer a buff list with timers much like Elkano's buff bars. Is there a way to set that vice the icon sets?

Also on the target frames, there has to be an easier way to manipulate that to show buffs and debuffs in the same manner. I have tried a bit and seem to end up with one set or another off page since I have the frame at the top of my screen. As a preference I prefer debuffs as icons then buffs as bars. Is there a way to call that out better or configure it?

Thanks again for an amazing ui!

Hey Mung,

tried test version and it's really nice. But few issues.

1. Will there be option to turn off the inventory? Because now when i don't load SVUI_inventory i can't use spec switcher etc. I just hate inventory without categories because of that im using cargbags_nivaya.

2. Profiles are still linked somehow? Because right now when i copy it to another char and change something it's changing on main too and there is no option to jsut save current profile under different name.

3.Just my usual if you're planining to add castbar overlay with power bar and option to move text on castbar?

4. Auras on nameplates doesn't seem to work.

5. http://i.imgur.com/lwJU1Zm.jpg borders on nameplates are little out of place.

I would love the option to use the Warcraft theme and be able to shut off the borders via an option somewhere.

EDIT: I decided to try out the simple theme, and It is AWESOME! So elegant in it's simplicity. I definitely would say it is the "go to" theme for anyone who is not a fan of the comic-like looks of the original SVUI but loved the features.

Thank you sir!
Oh absolutely! One of my goals with the themes is to create the ability to mix-and-match your favorite elements at the frame level. (eventually and with enough variety in themes to make it worthwhile)

The other primary goal with them is a clean and easy to understand API so other developers can make/contribute their own themes.
The backgrounds AND the borders are super awesome! I'm very interested in seeing what is possible for your action bars at this point! Are they gonna be just skins over the buttons or maybe "modified" gryphons on the sides? Just asking but it looks really good so far bro! LOVE the unit frames and tool tip in the wow theme
