> Added new config category, "Screen". This is where you will find the familiar options for auto-scaling and multi-monitor but also the new ADVANCED screen adjustments (USE WITH GREAT CAUTION). The new settings allow you to forcibly change the overall scale calculation used by most elements, and for those of you having issues with getting the UI to fit perfectly on various non-standard screens, you can set your own width and height used for UI positioning.
> Fixed/adjusted combat text font (Scrolling)
> BG stats are working again
> Revamped quest tracker items. They are now anchored to their own position-able bar and can display more than one item at a time. The issue of items disappearing on use has been resolved (though not tested extensively).
> Left and right dock windows can now be hidden independently of each other by using their respective corner buttons.
> Bugs noted by all of you in the comments have been resolved. If there are any outstanding issues, or if I have missed something please let me know.

> Fixed Monk issue generating many lua errors

> Removed tamable indicators from tooltips
> Restyled the garrison minimap button a bit

v5.2: MANY CHANGES!!!
-------------------------------------
Added/Redesigned
-------------------------------------
> Raid frames are now singular, meaning there will no longer be separate frames for sizes 10/15/20/25/40. In the config menu you will only see one category called "Raid".

> Docks have undergone major changes to how they are built and function.
NOTE 1: Before, docklets and dock features were created in static positions (ie... chat tabs on the left, profession tools and henchmen on the right..etc) and the dock holders were essentially just anchored placeholders with little purpose other than a starting point for child elements. Now every aspect of each docking cluster is dynamic and interchangeable.
NOTE 2: Utilizing the new dock system is restricted to internal code at this time. If you have questions please ask me and I will walk you through them.
NOTE 3: I have added an alt-click menu to each dock icon that allows you to re-order its position in it's current dock.
NOTE 4: All movement changes are now being saved and retained per character.

> Dock alerts (ie.. chat edit box and Laborer "End Mode" button) are attractive now ;)

> Micro Menu bar has been relocated to the upper left corner of the screen, mouse over it to show (can be changed in settings)

> Stats have been changed slightly
NOTE 1: The top stat bar is now anchored to the top center of the screen (was top left)
NOTE 2: The top stat bar is also NAKED by default (ie.. no stats showing/assigned). I felt like having too much on screen for new users was confusing.
NOTE 3: Backgrounds are disabled now by default (can still be changed in settings)
NOTE 4: Changed the default stat assignment for the bottom bar to improve asthetics. (Courtesy of Penguinsane)

> Installer updated. Now when making aura layout selections you will see dummy aura icons and bars to help visualize the changes.

> Slightly re-styled tooltips to make them less intrusive by removing the POW graphic from the bottom of the frame. Seemed like too much at times.

> NEW: Round style for minimaps that use the "rotateMinimap" interface option.

> REMOVED: WorldMap movement alpha settings. Blizzard has a built-in function for this now under your Interface options.

-------------------------------------
Fixes
-------------------------------------
> WorldMap issues with elements becoming unclickable are fixed
> WorldMap tooltip issues are fixed
> Bag slot coloring has been revised. Specialty bag colors will now take priority over rarity of the item.
> Garrison map icon is properly anchored now
> Auto-Quest features are working as they should
> Nameplate issues should be resolved
> In combat messages should no longer cause errors
> Auctionhouse styles revised
> Inventory coin icons are working
> Inventory quest icons/borders are working
> Added dock option to change dock button sizes
> Character stats pane issue fixed
> Raid leader tool bugs fixed (if you even noticed them)
> Skada dock issues fixed

This started for me as well ~5-8 versions ago. I download literally every version, so that is your starting point, Mung.

Could you be more specific? Are you getting an error? If so, please post it.

Did you make sure to do a clean install, ie. delete everything SVUI-related except the WTF files, before re-installing? Yes, cache too.

Personally, I haven't had any problems yet in the latest couple updates, but I haven't been questing near as much.

Youuuuu are the best, man. It's one of those things that have just been a minor inconvenience for me; I tend to get the look juuust right for all my addons and then just copy/paste WTF files over for everything (not just SVUI) so all of my alts have similar layouts, anyways.

Question Class color changes

Is there an option to change the class colors? I don't see it anywhere?

For AdiBags it still doesn't work. I set the background options to solid and it always turns back to its default options (after reload).
W/ default bags everything is fine.
Additionally I noticed using questitems out of the quest dock still doesn't work too. Has anyone the same issues or do I really have to kill the WTF, Cache a.s.o. things?

If that fails, the easy solution to bypass is to copy all SVUI files from one character in your WTF folder to another that you want it on.

I agree though, this is one thing that I have noticed is that saving to a common custom-named profile doesn't globally change for everyone. I assume because it's saving per-character instead of to the account's global SavedVariables.

You just couldn't go for v5.3, just drag it out a little more, maybe the next update could be 5.2.9.99.999.9999 whatcha think?

I actually fixed that, probably right after you last downloaded a copy. Try the latest and let me know.

If I'm reading it right, it's likely that spot that needs to be extended to account for the extra chi? I tried a few things but I'm not familiar enough with LUA and the WoW API to get it to work, so I figured I would toss it back to you.

Thanks again!

Re: profiles

Is it not saving any settings at all, when you save a profile? It saves to that character's name, so when you load a profile you'd be loading from the character that you want. When you make a custom-name profile, I believe it opens a new profile. Have you tried just "saving" the profile and then loading the character's name profile from another toon?

If that fails, the easy solution to bypass is to copy all SVUI files from one character in your WTF folder to another that you want it on.

I agree though, this is one thing that I have noticed is that saving to a common custom-named profile doesn't globally change for everyone. I assume because it's saving per-character instead of to the account's global SavedVariables.

I'd like to request one feature regarding the way profile data is handled. I'm a registered altoholic, and unlike many other addons, this one doesn't seem to have an easy way to USE a common profile.

Maybe I'm not getting how this works, but in other addons, I can type in a custom profile name and hit save, and it saves the current settings to that name. Then, on another character, all I have to do is select that profile to USE, and it uses it.

In THIS addon, saving to a custom name seems to always generate a new (empty/default) profile... and there isn't any option to USE a different profile, only to COPY one. If I copy data from a character that was setup, it seems to correctly clone the positioning and some of the settings, but other settings remain how they were (the henchmen toggles, and the actionbar general settings, for example).

It's not a horrible thing, but it does mean when I change a setting on one character I have to remember to change it on all my other ones, every time.

Great UI!! Thnx for the recent update. Is it possible to hide the action bars when not in combat like the ability you have incorperated for the player unit frames?

The chat box at the right is a dock, the buttons below it control what you see.

From Left to right:
1 Break Stuff, 2 Recount/Omen, 3 Profession 1, 4 Profession 2, 5 Cooking (if you have it), 6 Archaeology (if you have it), 7 First Aid (if you have it), 8 Quest Objectives, 9 Henchman, 10 Hide docks.

Now click on the Henchman
Choose Show All Options

For action bars, click "Actionbars" sub menu.
For bars 3-6 they are mouseover/disabled by default so you will have to enable and uncheck mouseover.

Docks are controlled in the "Docks" sub menu.
Scroll to the bottom and you can add Omen or Recount or Both

Any other questions just ask.

PS after you show your bars, on the "Main" sub menu, click Move Frames and adjust them how you see fit; resize them in the "Actionbars" sub menu to row/column size, button size, button spacing etc.
