┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
IMPORTANT: If you already have a copy of SVUI installed
then you MUST delete any SVUI folders from your "AddOns"
directory BEFORE installing a new one.

┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
To install: Open the downloaded zip file and drop all
containing folders into your install directory
(ie.. "C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/").
Be sure that the 2 addons are enabled from your character select screen.

TO CONFIGURE: Type /sv or /svui for easy game configs!
You can access quick config options by clicking the "Henchman" icon
on the bottom right of the screen (second from the right).

┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
v4.07.72
-- Unitframes respect options to disable them now
-- Adjusted skada skinning to be more precise
-- Added some new secret features LOL
v4.07.7
-- LOG-O-MATIC HAS RETURNED!!!!
-- Added support to dock buttons for extra items (ie Grim Campfire over Cooking Fire if owned), also removed "shift-click" variant for a simple right-click extra usage
-- Adjusted LFR/LFD checkboxes styling
-- adjusted combat giant font to be more legible
-- fixed tooltip typo in dock buttons
v4.0764
-- Added some features to chat. Icon indicating when you have scrolled away from the bottom and a whisper alert icon.
-- Fixed fast scrolling in chat windows (hold shift while scrolling to jump to top or bottom)
-- Added a few secret features (small things that you may or may not notice) surprises are always fun! :)
-- Adjusted the styling of arena prep frames

-- Un-docked chat windows will now have a skinned background to improve visibility.
-- Fixed a bad string in the installer file
-- Removed the "Ace3" style from StyleOMatic. Rather than attempt to skin ALL ace config windows (which is NOT resource friendly), I decided to directly modify the lib itself. The config libraries will be replaced in the near future for a much lighter alternative.
-- Removed the config option to change classbar width, this was added as an option but never implemented. Changed the option for classbar height to now be "Size" which is essentially what it has always been.

-- Fixed localization issues
-- Fixed config panel issues
-- Update to uniframe package (shaved another 1mb off game memory)
v4.03
-- Completely forgot to include frame positions in the profile saving process, my bad yo!
-- Almost forgot filter changes, this caused an error but is fixed now.
-- Completely repaired and finalized the new internal config system, this will remove all setting based bugs you may have encountered
-- Found and removed issues that were causing memory leaks in both the Stats and Unit packages
-- Fixed autoscaling, raid frame hiding (just re-iterating that fact) and a handful of other issues

IMPORTANT------

-- New profiles (WARNING: old settings WILL be erased due to changes in the core). Unlike previous versions as well as many other UI's available, SVUI will handle profiles on an as-needed basis. What this means is that if you want to be able to use the same profile from one character to the next then you will have to go into the settings "/sv" and then the "profiles" tab on the left. Once you are there you will need to "SAVE" that current characters profile (this will no longer be automatic as that pollutes the global variables file). After you have saved your profile, you can then log onto another character and select the saved profile from the "Copy" dropdown list. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that once you are satisfied with and profile duplications you have done, you should then select the unneeded saved profile from the "Delete" dropdown to remove it. This does not affect any character that has already received a copy as the used copies are stored in another location.

-- Fixed bag bug causing bag and sort failures
-- Fixed target GPS activation
-- Fixed failing pet/party/raid health bars
-- Fixed vanishing raid frames
-- Fixed Laborer issue ignoring settings that prevent from dropping farm tools
v4.01
-- Fixed bugs in alerts, mounts, bags, auras, unitframes and docks
-- Changed target status indicators (they are AWESOME now)

-- Fixed combat-fade bug
-- Adjusted more blizzard skins
-- Fixed coloring issues on many buttons and frames
v4.0 (preview)

-- Overhaul of most frame templates, they are much more visually engaging imo
-- Full re-design of the archaeology "Laborer" mode
-- Mentalo has gotten a face-lift
-- touch-ups on various info frames including the installer window

-- NEW dock tool: Hearthstone
-- (no version change) Fixed a chat bug when receiving PM's
-- (no version change) Partially fixed pet bar bug (still vanishes when changing settings, can be fixed by using "/rl")

Incoming..

v4.072
-- Yet another update to tooltips. Now the new border colors will change for item tooltips to reflect quality color.
-- Classbars now have their own mover frame, simply go into the config under Unitframes->Player->Classbar and check the "Detach from frame" box.

THIS UPDATE WILL REQUIRE DELETING YOUR SVUI FOLDERS BEFORE PLACING THE PATCHED FILES IN YOUR ADDON FOLDER

I basically had the right chat turned off and the minimap moved there in its place. For SVUI, I don't want to cover up the neat-o helper windows on the bottom right. So not sure if something like this is possible at all.

Also has anyone figured out how to make bars or unit frames combat hide/show?

Still loving this UI Mung.
Isnt exactly how i have it now but will give you an idea

my skada didn't do this how?!

Help from anyone would be great, its driving me insane xD
Hey - I had a similar issue with wanting to track Illuminated Healing shields. I had a fiddle around with the options - I only wanted the single icon to appear with a CD timer text, but instead it shows all my buffs on other players - I just rolled with the text value in the end, but it would be nice off the buff filters were a bit more intuitive/flexible. Could have like some sort of option where you can enter the spell ID of buffs you want displayed, or a list of class specific buffs that you can check on or off if you want them displayed. Nice and simple!

Any help when someone has some time would be awesome!
I had the same problem, as have others... the latest version from last night fixes this problem. I assume you don't have the latest version of SVui.

If you scroll down, KoreanMacho brought up the same issue, and it was quickly fixed by the author in the latest version.

Hope this helps. I love the UI as well, but I also noticed some bugs, such as:
Profiles not saving/loading properly. The Focus Frame and some Action Bars never get placed at the correct locations when selecting a saved profile.
Really!? Awesome, I'll download it right now. Thank you so much.

Edit: Hurrayy! Problem is fixed; I get to keep using this amazing UI! xD

Oh gosh this is something I had trouble with for Illuminated Healing, as someone posted before me below.

I just had a thought, would we be able to enter Illuminated Healing as a tracker dot? The little aura icons that can show on raid frames. For some reason though, I was never able to get those to work when I'd try setting up my own. I'd enter and nothing would happen. I think you can enter it by actual spell name though? Maybe enter it and have it be a white little aura. It's better than nothing, and you'll at least know if someone has your specific absorb.

I was spoiled with numbers in Vuhdo though. It's nice to see the actual amount of a shield that is left on someone, as there is a huge difference between 250,000 and 2,000. You know?

I've only been able to find a setting which gives you a text value inside the bar which shows how much absorption I have but I really want the absorb to show as effective health or overlay it if my health if full, is there a setting to do this? I've looked everywhere and couldn't find one,

You know what I love? The way that Skada slipped so seamlessly into the bottom right docklet and made its own little button on the bar. Thats cool. Thanks for things like that!

Getting this error when hovering over a battlepet during a pet battle:

Code:
7x SVUI-4.0662\packages\tip\SVTip.lua:452: attempt to index local "colors" (a nil value)
SVUI-4.0662\packages\tip\SVTip.lua:452: in function <SVUI\packages\tip\SVTip.lua:362>
<in C code>
<in C code>

Locals:
(*temporary) = <function> defined =[C]:-1
 = <function> defined =[C]:-1
 = <function> defined @Interface\AddOns\SVUI\packages\tip\SVTip.lua:362
Also, during pet battles, it looks like their healthbars are supposed to be colored per their rarity, but it often freaks out and has a misidentified color or is just white.

And this last night during raid. Can't quite recall what exactly I was doing at the time, but it wasn't anything unusual, just healing away. Might have been during a loot roll.

Code:
1x SVUI-4.0652\system\system.lua:410: script ran too long
SVUI-4.0652\system\system.lua:410: in function <SVUI\system\system.lua:407>

Locals:
Keep up the great work, man. Don't work too hard and accidentally burn yourself out; I want this UI to stay around forever and ever!
