> Fixed/adjusted combat text font (Scrolling)
> BG stats are working again
> Revamped quest tracker items. They are now anchored to their own position-able bar and can display more than one item at a time. The issue of items disappearing on use has been resolved (though not tested extensively).

> Removed tamable indicators from tooltips
> Restyled the garrison minimap button a bit

v5.2: MANY CHANGES!!!
-------------------------------------
Added/Redesigned
-------------------------------------
> Raid frames are now singular, meaning there will no longer be separate frames for sizes 10/15/20/25/40. In the config menu you will only see one category called "Raid".

> Docks have undergone major changes to how they are built and function.
NOTE 1: Before, docklets and dock features were created in static positions (ie... chat tabs on the left, profession tools and henchmen on the right..etc) and the dock holders were essentially just anchored placeholders with little purpose other than a starting point for child elements. Now every aspect of each docking cluster is dynamic and interchangeable.
NOTE 2: Utilizing the new dock system is restricted to internal code at this time. If you have questions please ask me and I will walk you through them.
NOTE 3: I have added an alt-click menu to each dock icon that allows you to re-order its position in it's current dock.
NOTE 4: All movement changes are now being saved and retained per character.

> Dock alerts (ie.. chat edit box and Laborer "End Mode" button) are attractive now ;)

> Micro Menu bar has been relocated to the upper left corner of the screen, mouse over it to show (can be changed in settings)

> Stats have been changed slightly
NOTE 1: The top stat bar is now anchored to the top center of the screen (was top left)
NOTE 2: The top stat bar is also NAKED by default (ie.. no stats showing/assigned). I felt like having too much on screen for new users was confusing.
NOTE 3: Backgrounds are disabled now by default (can still be changed in settings)
NOTE 4: Changed the default stat assignment for the bottom bar to improve asthetics. (Courtesy of Penguinsane)

> Installer updated. Now when making aura layout selections you will see dummy aura icons and bars to help visualize the changes.

> Slightly re-styled tooltips to make them less intrusive by removing the POW graphic from the bottom of the frame. Seemed like too much at times.

> NEW: Round style for minimaps that use the "rotateMinimap" interface option.

> REMOVED: WorldMap movement alpha settings. Blizzard has a built-in function for this now under your Interface options.

-------------------------------------
Fixes
-------------------------------------
> WorldMap issues with elements becoming unclickable are fixed
> WorldMap tooltip issues are fixed
> Bag slot coloring has been revised. Specialty bag colors will now take priority over rarity of the item.
> Garrison map icon is properly anchored now
> Auto-Quest features are working as they should
> Nameplate issues should be resolved
> In combat messages should no longer cause errors
> Auctionhouse styles revised
> Inventory coin icons are working
> Inventory quest icons/borders are working
> Added dock option to change dock button sizes
> Character stats pane issue fixed
> Raid leader tool bugs fixed (if you even noticed them)
> Skada dock issues fixed

Keep posting on GitHub. I haven't familiarized myself with the curse ticketing system just yet.

Re: svui on wowinterface

I will have an extra addon available soon that contains all of the non-addon driven artwork and fonts.
For now though you CAN keep the contents of your "Fonts" and "Interface" folders (with the exception of the sub folder "AddOns" of course) intact.

Yup this version will get the needed changes by Monday. If it weren't for the settings transfer tool not being ready, we would all just take that leap of faith.

Mung, do you think we'll get one last maintenance release of the old stable after that, or will we all be jumping to the new shiny?

I fixed it - found note on curse that you had to remove it before loading it - so I did. Console was there but closed it, not a big deal.

SV from curse

So I load the curse updates this morning and something funny happened - when I logged in, the setup ran again on my main. I chose the options I had originally set, watched it reload - and now I have a number of the icons stuck in two places in my screen and have an odd 'console' type box down the left side.

The icons look like those that we get when there's a crit and a number of comic pages. The console has this info in it:
SVHenchmen [Load] - (02/20/15 07:44:41) Interface\AddOns\SVUI_!Core\system\dock.lua:761: attempt to index field 'private' (a nil value)

SVTools [Load] - (02/20/15 07:44:41) Interface\AddOns\SVUI_!Core\system\dock.lua:761: attempt to index field 'private' (a nil value)

SVQuest [Load] - (02/20/15 07:44:41) Interface\AddOns\SVUI_!Core\system\dock.lua:761: attempt to index field 'private' (a nil value)

StyleOMatic [Load] - (02/20/15 07:44:41) ...terface\AddOns\SVUI_StyleOMatic\SVUI_StyleOMatic.lua:519: attempt to index field 'Media' (a nil value)

Dock [Load]: @(02/20/15 07:44:41) - Interface\AddOns\SVUI_!Core\system\dock.lua:1277: attempt to index field 'backdrop' (a nil value)
I've only been using the UI for a few weeks and love it - still getting used to it, but love it! Keep it up!

This has already been answered multiple times, but I will gladly do it again for you....

Unfortunately Mung has not had a chance to get the settings transfer wizard out to the community yet, as the Curse release was not entirely planned.

If you choose to use the new Curse release, you will have to set it up completely from scratch.

If you continue to use the version that has been up on WoW Interface, it should work with no problems until he gets the settings transfer wizard out to the public.

Hope this helps.

To be honest, if you are familiar with SVUI and how to change it's settings, you can most likely change them very quickly. The first time I configured SVUI it also took me days, but after a few updates and needing to wipe settings, I learned how to fix everything to my liking fairly quickly.

Just as a heads up to everyone though, keep in mind you can back up your SVUI addon folders and .WTF files just fine - give the new version of the UI a try, you might find that you can redo your settings fairly fast! If you wind up not being able to cope with the changes, you can delete the new stuff and reinstall your old things, no harm, no foul.

Mung, do you want us still reporting on the github or posting issues here now that we're on the Curse version? Or on the Curse thread, how would you like us to do bug reports? Since there are still open issues on git.

Or are there special steps to take for prior Supervillain users?
These bugs are fixed.
I got your latest version from Curse - while the crazy lua errors and icons in the center of the screen are gone, the UI still doesn't really work. None of the buttons or anything are skinned. I ran /sv and told it to install, reset to defaults, doesn't matter. Everything still looks like the regular WoW interface. Any ideas?
There are about 13 addons now that compose the various modules, instead of all of them being included in the main folder. Your curse client will look like this if you are intending to use the FULL UI.

Ah gotcha. I don't use Curse client because I'm on a Mac and they discontinued it. Is there a master package download that includes everything needed to run SVUI?

okay.. so ive now caught up. it appears the curse version isnt ready in its entirety NOR is a settings transfer wizard prepared.

DEFINATELY not going through the re-set-up. That was DAYS, FULL DAYS of work.

How about the test/github version? I assume thats further up to date than the version linked here on wowinterface?

Is that the same as the curse version essentially and unable to transfer settings then?

Assume if i want to keep my settings the only option is to sit put then?

My prior question is still applicable however... when the settings xfer IS ready, how would I update from the standalone version to the curse version? (ill be using the complete svui).

Just delete all svui stuff EXCEPT in WTF and install from curse?

thanks guys and mung, im amazed at how darn fast youve managed to make this transition.

question mung..

Ive fell o ut of the loop for a few days (week or two) and am busy going through the pages i missed now.

Just to get this out of the way...

I was updating my addons pre raid tonight and noticed that a plugin for your UI popped up. To my surprise I did a search and POOF all kinds of SVUI modules popped up.

Here is my question.

Im still using the last version you updated via the old manually installation.

How would I go about updating to the new/curse version without losing my settings?

Can I just install everything from curse and it will overwrite properly or will i need to manually delete anything before/after using curse?

Thanks!!
