The new settings allow you to forcibly change the overall scale calculation used by most elements, and for those of you having issues with getting the UI to fit perfectly on various non-standard screens, you can set your own width and height used for UI positioning.
> Fixed/adjusted combat text font (Scrolling)

v5.2: MANY CHANGES!!!
-------------------------------------
-------------------------------------
> Raid frames are now singular, meaning there will no longer be separate frames for sizes 10/15/20/25/40. In the config menu you will only see one category called "Raid".

> Docks have undergone major changes to how they are built and function.
NOTE 1: Before, docklets and dock features were created in static positions (ie... chat tabs on the left, profession tools and henchmen on the right..etc) and the dock holders were essentially just anchored placeholders with little purpose other than a starting point for child elements. Now every aspect of each docking cluster is dynamic and interchangeable.
NOTE 2: Utilizing the new dock system is restricted to internal code at this time. If you have questions please ask me and I will walk you through them.
NOTE 3: I have added an alt-click menu to each dock icon that allows you to re-order its position in it's current dock.
NOTE 4: All movement changes are now being saved and retained per character.

> Dock alerts (ie.. chat edit box and Laborer "End Mode" button) are attractive now ;)

> Micro Menu bar has been relocated to the upper left corner of the screen, mouse over it to show (can be changed in settings)

> Stats have been changed slightly
NOTE 1: The top stat bar is now anchored to the top center of the screen (was top left)
NOTE 2: The top stat bar is also NAKED by default (ie.. no stats showing/assigned). I felt like having too much on screen for new users was confusing.
NOTE 3: Backgrounds are disabled now by default (can still be changed in settings)
NOTE 4: Changed the default stat assignment for the bottom bar to improve asthetics. (Courtesy of Penguinsane)

> Installer updated. Now when making aura layout selections you will see dummy aura icons and bars to help visualize the changes.

> Slightly re-styled tooltips to make them less intrusive by removing the POW graphic from the bottom of the frame. Seemed like too much at times.

> NEW: Round style for minimaps that use the "rotateMinimap" interface option.

> REMOVED: WorldMap movement alpha settings. Blizzard has a built-in function for this now under your Interface options.

-------------------------------------
Fixes
-------------------------------------
> WorldMap issues with elements becoming unclickable are fixed
> WorldMap tooltip issues are fixed
> Bag slot coloring has been revised. Specialty bag colors will now take priority over rarity of the item.
> Garrison map icon is properly anchored now
> Auto-Quest features are working as they should
> Nameplate issues should be resolved
> In combat messages should no longer cause errors
> Auctionhouse styles revised
> Inventory coin icons are working
> Inventory quest icons/borders are working

> Character stats pane issue fixed
> Raid leader tool bugs fixed (if you even noticed them)

the garrison button not hiding is by design as it's not part of the micro menu but part of the upper left dock instead, I do believe there is an option to hide them as well except for on mouse over but I'm not online to check atm for sure. For it being the only one changing size though for the dock button slider thing are you choosing only to resize the upper left dock or all of them?
If I understand you correctly and the garrison button has it's own configuration apart from the rest of the default system options in the top left, then that is my mistake and likely won't give me trouble once I find the seperate option. I did start to think it was due to being "in" my garrison so I left and it still stayed. I assume it's simply not set to mouseover by default.

I do apologize I'm brand new to this UI and using custom UIs in general so some of my questions have likely been asked dozens of times this month let alone over the years.

With that being said - I'm elated to see he got a new version up that hopefully combats my problem with the UI going all the way across the screen when using surround and bezel correction.

Two inquiries.
1) the letterboxing effect when pressing ESC is there by design yes?

2) is the fade/disappear time for mouseover on things like the questlog adjustable? I noticed after moving my mouse away from the dock and into the actual quest log it starts to fade even though I'm over it and rather quickly.

3) I lied - thought of a third. (And a fourth) the Dps dock item, does that just track your personal dps or will it track others?

4) I forget the name of the option, dockets? Or docklets? It appears their are two of them. Mine have nothing in them, though this is likely due to starting with 0 addons for obvious reasons. I assume this allows you to simply attach two addons of your choice to the dock that are supported by the UI?

5) and final. The UI seems to come with some additional addons of its own. Are these similar to DBM modules in that they load on their own when needed? Or are they optional addons/features you must/can enable to get extra functionality?

Thanks for getting this update up so darn fast after talking with me. I have nothing but praise all around.

(Always think of something else before I'm done lol). Will the github version always be newer than the version uploaded here?

Thanks guys!
Well it used to be docked with a docklet that was in the top left corner that would let you manipulate it if I remember correctly, but in the latest update it seems mung deleted the top left and right corner docklets so now I don't think there are any options for the garrison button other than moving it to a different location by alt+clicking the button.

1.Yes it's by design but you are safe to turn it off by going into the UI's options and then into general and turning off awesome AFK screen

2. I do believe so, but I haven't had to adjust any fade/disappearing as none of my stuff does this currently.

3. the DPS dock item only tracks personal DPS, but you can download an addon like skada/recount (details! as well but it's not completely supported (can't add it to the addon dock) ) and add them to the addon dock which will let you track personal+others

4. it's just called Docks, and there should be a bit of options in it already even without other addons installed, in the bottom of the options for the docks there is an option for addon docklets which will let you add addons to it that are supported by this UI.

5. you mean the addons like SVUI_craftomatic/SVUI_fightomatic and such, they are parts of the UI that you can enable to get a bit more features out of this UI

and well for your last question, the github version isn't always up to date like currently the version that is up on github is pretty out of date. The github version is only really update when a big revamp of something is coming (like when he was working on the quest dock revamp just recently) or mung just wants to do some testing of features before pushing it here.
thank you very much for the thorough reply. pretty much answered all my questions. (ive been using the github version woops!)

That being said, im getting ready to download the new version in hopes it corrects my issues via using nvsurround.

One thing i need clarification on. #5. Yes i do mean things such as you mentioned. Do those need to be enabled independantly (by me) in the addon control panel or does the UI enable them on its own? For example with DBM, cataclysm DBM isnt loaded unless you go into a cataclysm zone then it automatically loads itself.

Trying to figure out if im missing out on features by leaving them as they are when installed (mostly disabled).

Thanks again!

Why did you delete the docks that where in the top left and top right corners??

the garrison button not hiding is by design as it's not part of the micro menu but part of the upper left dock instead, I do believe there is an option to hide them as well except for on mouse over but I'm not online to check atm for sure.
