Hey, Mung. Just wanted to pop in and compliment you on your work with SVUI2. This continues to be one of the most original ui's going.

One small thing, though. You might want to update with your info page with clearer instructions on installation. When you added the ai-art stuff it became a bit more complex than just unzipping to your addon folder and it even screwed me up for a few minutes before I realized I had all those files in my addons folder instead of the interface folder.

Ok, one more small thing. I'm a Carbonite user but when I have Carb active, the svui minimap is round instead of rectangular. It doesn't look bad, per se but it messes with my ocd having a round minimap overlapping the rectangular border.

ps. Don't let the occasional troll get you down.

Edit: Dedish, no I am not Munglunch, but I AM a moderator on WoWInterface, and as such I am asking you to watch your lanquage when posting in comments or forums. We consider this to be a family-friendly site, and using language as you did in your last post is NOT acceptable.

I'm sorry but this kind of crap really pisses me off. Munglunch puts in a crap ton of time on this awesome UI and you want to come in here and just criticize. Sometimes to take a big step forward in development you have to take a couple steps back and just throw it out there and let your user base hammer it and break it. This is very normal in any software development cycle. Guess what, this is a program that is being developed. There will be bugs, there will be stuff that sucks to have to deal with. In the end however, you get a great piece of programming that not only destroys any others out there, but you can honestly say that you did your part to help. Just saying, screw this, I can't face roll with this UI, it sucks, waaaaa. Go cry somewhere else.

I for one really appreciate what Mung has accomplished and hope that he continues it for many more moons!! Through the good and bad, SV for life!
First of all I never said I didn't appreciate mungs hard work, try reading what I said. All I was trying to say is if sh!t ain't broke dont fix it. I understand that there will be bugs and everything else, just seems to me that svui2 was fine where it was 4 or 5 versions ago. But people are flawed and only see what they want or focus on the bad stuff. But hey you know what they say about opinions right. Oh and it has nothing to do with "dragging my lazy ass to the download button" has to do with the fact it had bugs and all my actions bars disappeared in a raid so I was a little choked.

Lastly to Mung I meant no disrespect to you or your work man, like I said been using your addon for at least a year. Hell I even donated once or twice. How many of you other can honestly claim that? That being said as far as I am concerened I am a PAYING customer and feel I should be able to voice my opinion without ridicule. So in other words if you are not Mung stfu cause nothing I say is directed to you kkthxbai

Brilliant thank you! A hot key would be perfect I knew there must be a simple solution, should have thought of that - seems my brain is also simple!

Mmitch for this issue I disable Mung's bags and use FamBags the suggestion on a key ring has been posted once or twice but seeing as it only blacksmiths who use this option I don't see it being a high issue on the list. Also remember you can disable the UI for a few mins and bring your key to one of your hotbars so you will be able to use it. Hope it helps.

her0zbane and wynn.... thank you. As I have said before it's people like you guys that keep me doing this. I appreciate you having my back! Don't worry about me though I actually enjoy comments like that simply because it makes me laugh my ass off. I was actually reading that to my wife last night and even she thought it was funny. It is damn funny how many people there are that overestimate their relevance to anything. LOL

Just a note as we are going forward everyone: The things you find on Wowinterface are developed and given to you for FREE. The only people in this community that have any right to throw tantrums are the developers themselves. So from now on try your best to remember this and never bite the hand that feeds you (tasty addon goodness ).

Extra note for QQ'ers: If you are experiencing issues that are causing any of the following symptoms:
--Whining
--Name calling
--Elitism
--Overall Douche-Bagginess
please consult your nearest kitchen and drink a liter of liquid floorwax.

...that is all

This is very normal in any software development cycle. Guess what, this is a program that is being developed. There will be bugs, there will be stuff that sucks to have to deal with. In the end however, you get a great piece of programming that not only destroys any others out there, but you can honestly say that you did your part to help. Just saying, screw this, I can't face roll with this UI, it sucks, waaaaa. Go cry somewhere else.

I for one really appreciate what Mung has accomplished and hope that he continues it for many more moons!! Through the good and bad, SV for life!
Quite agree...also note I'm sure Mung will be devasted by the fact you can't drag your lazy ass to the download button :P Cheers for all the effort Mung and long may it continue...I love that you listen to your fans and sort bugs out, I always look forward to your new versions, even if I am a little trepidacious about certain things I usually end up liking them lol

I cant turn off the comic popups my actionbars vanish in the middle of a fight. quest tracker disappears and thats just 3 things out of a huge list. I am forced to use a different ui now cause this is just plain unplayable. Hope you get it sorted out cuz I really love your ui, cant promise I will come back to it tho.

I never noticed that those characters were excluded. Not sure what I will do to fix that right now but I am making a note of it.

Not sure if this has been addressed yet or not. Looked through the last few pages and didn't see it, so apologize if i missed it. How can I add my shaman wep imbues to the player aura bar? I am trying to track Flametongue Weapon and I added the ID 8024 according to WoWHead. but it is not tracking it on the bars, It is still up by the map which is ok, but kind of out of the way IMO.

Thanks for any help and for a great UI!!!
The aura bar plugin only tracks buffs and debuffs. Weapon enchants are in a category of their own and are not included in the trackers. The config screen may display the name if you put in the correct spellid since it is only checking the id itself prior to sending that information to the aura plugin. ....if that makes any sense.

Ok, I think I've learned how to replicate the issue. If you move the GRID unit frames and reload, it then causes the Blizzard Raid Frames to partially show(this was in a 10man raid). Also, I tried to use the Scaling option to make the GRID boxes smaller(they are a bit big on default). Also, this causes my other issues of my action bar to only show main action bar and rest disappear.
This was actually a bug from the 4.06 patch. It's fixed in 20.25.
