Supervillain UI: 2  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 20.26
by: Munglunch [More]

A full comic-book themed UI suite!

You will need to do a clean installation of this UI
if you are upgrading from any version.
You will need to delete any previous folders used in any version of SVUI prior to 20.0.

To install: Open the downloaded zip file and you will find a folder named something like "SVUI2_v20_0" (the number part changes with each different version). Inside this folder you will find two other folders named "Fonts" and "Interface". Drop these two folders into your main WoW installation directory (ie.. "C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/"...for example) and allow them to overwrite any files that asks permission to do so. Be sure that the following addons are enabled from your character select screen:

--"Supervillain UI One"
--"Supervillain UI Two"
--"Supervillain UI Three"
--"Supervillain UI Four"
--"Supervillain UI Five"
--"Supervillain Comics"
--"Supervillain AI-Aurora"

...and thats pretty much it!

The villains are: Munglunch, AlleyKat, Tuks, Quokka, Haleth, P3lim, Haste, Totalpackage, Another, Elv and Kryso

TO CONFIGURE: Type /callminion or /setupsvui for easy game configs! Also you can use /mentalo to show movable anchors for various frames.

There are in-game options you can see if you middle click on the minimap
and select from the available options. There are also toggles to the right
of the minimap for easier menu navigation. For those who do NOT have
a middle button on their mouse (lol), or those who for
whatever epic reason can't see the HUGE buttons in the topright
corner, simply type /svuihelp for a listing of config commands.

[center]Addons used: kCore addons for Tukz by Kryso, and the SVUI
core is a collaborative melding of HissyUI, Tukui, and the original
Supervillain. Big thanks to AlleyKat, Tukz, Quokka and Kryso for their
huge work. Omen/Recount skinning originally by darthandroid. DBM skinning
by Affli stuffing bags, modded specifically for SVUI.
SVUI now has an integrated shared media lib (originally by Telroth).
Supervillain Comics is my re-build of two favorites (kKillTextures and Comix)
code and some textures were borrowed from both. Drag em all coding was
integrated into the cores as well. AI-Art by:Quokka, eqsanctum,
LadySilverwolf used for almost all panel art, with some of my own custom
textures included. Integrated Molinari by: P3lim,
CoolLine by: Another and FlyoutButton_Custom by: Totalpackage are also included.

NOTE: Recount, Skada, Deadly Boss Mods, Omen are not included and must be downloaded separately to use with this UI.

NEWLY ADDED: Redesigned combination of AI-Art and Aurora (by authors: Quokka and Haleth), Integrated Molinari (by: p3lim), CoolLine (by: Totalpackage) and FlyoutButtonCustom (by: Another).

The WTF folder was going to be my next recommendation actually

Well I'm glad you have it fixed! Hopefully you enjoy the UI enough to make all that effort you made worth it. Thanks!

You know what you aren't crazy, I was finally able to reproduce the error. There was a piece of bad code that was discreetly causing the problem. There is now a version 3.7 uploaded that should hopefully be the last update for this package. As usual you will want to perform a (once and for all) clean install. Let me know if you guys have any more issues.

Much appreciated on all the work you've done. I really love the general layout and overall themed look of the UI and now that the config menu is up (What little drive to learn any sort of programming/scripting died on the doorsteps of unix shell code) I've been able to resolve almost every issue I've had with SVUI since I found out about it a few weeks ago.

However, there are two issues I'm still trying to work out and hopefully you can help me fix at least one (the other one I can work around with another addon):

1) Is there a way to disable the killing-blows and critical text/pictures on the floating combat text? I know their very integrated into the theme and it was awesome to see them while solo'ing, but they definitely get... old, after a while and I don't even want to think about those popping up in a raid (although granted the Killing Blow graphics would be few and far between).

2) I'm used to using MSBT/Parrot/etc... to show an icon or some indicator of what caused the damage scrolling on the screen. For casters its rarely an issue to figure out what damage is what (except my Shadow Priest and Affliction Warlock with DoTs that hit harder than regular spells), but for melee and hunter types its much harder with the auto-attacks and constant string of instant abilities. Any way to tack that one to the SVUI combat text, or do I just need to go back to Parrot?

1: disable the Supervillain_Comics addon
2: might be something to add in SVUI:Cat

Thanks for answering my earlier questions, but I realized I'd forgotten to ask one other. Is there an easy way to disable the cargbags module? I had just scaled it down so much I barely noticed it because the cargbags windows always open when I access the bank, along with ArkInventory that I normally use. I'm actually reading up on Cargbags to see if I can add in the extra sorting I'm used to with AI (individual windows for each type of trade good and individual windows for equipment sets, as well as setting up the bank the same way), but for the moment I'm not there yet.

Hey ,

Very nice , do have a question , is there still a dps and heal layout for raids or is it all grid after 10 people more in the party/raid ?

and is there a way to keep the frames for a raid that it shows when there is under 10 in the group ?

thanks for all the work on this UI

also was wondering what does the last 1 in the below text do or refer to , and how do i darken the background

Code:
MungUI:CreatePanel(bottombar, 1, 1, "BOTTOM", UIParent, "BOTTOM", 0, 0, 1)

Nameplates

I Love this comp very very much. Just one thing I'd like to change but couldn't figure. I'm not really feeling the nameplates and would like to change them to the basic Blizz nameplates. There a way to do that w/o destroying the compilation?

First of all - I just love this compilation! I really do.

But there's one thing, I don't really fancy the unitframes.

Are there any way to remove the unitframes? I'd like to have X-perl.

Thankfull for response, you can also send me a email - Tarmen92@hotmail.com

Thanks in advance / Kanelhuvud

Have you gone into the default menu, via the interface option then into action bars and make sure that always show action bars is checked, that'll show all the buttons that aren't assigned. Just as idea, as that was my problem for ages until my wife kindly pointed it out to me. Just a thought, to try or check.

Cheers mate....
