DFAlert
"Dungeon Finder Alert"
- Enables the player to play a custom sound file whenever a dungeon or battleground queue sends invite!
- Players can disable or enable either custom sound settings!
- Read below on how to add custom sound files, its easy!
Add Custom Sound Files:- WoW client must not be open before adding the file!
- In order to add a custom sound file, copy your sound file to the AddOn's directory.
(e.g. \World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons\DFAlert\ )
- Open your World of Warcraft game and login. Once logged in and ready to go, type " /dfa " to bring up the options window.
- Click the "Add File" button, and type in the exact file name (including file extension) of your new sound file.
- Click on either the dungeon/BG file list button and select your file. Then hit the "Play" button to test to make sure your file can be played
Remember, whenever you add a new file to the DFAlert folder, due to Blizzard limitations, the Addon cannot play that file until after your WOW client has been restarted.
[b] DFAlert does work when WOW Sounds/Sound Effects are disabled
