    Works in WoW 4.0/Cataclysm — check “Load out of date addons” at the addons screen.

    Badapples Fix makes the Badapples tab show up in the Social frame again in WoW 3.3.5+.

    It also improves the tooltips for entries in the Badapples list panel, including showing you which character you were on when you added each entry. I'd originally hacked my copy of Badapples to always show tooltips (since they are normally only shown if the note is "too long") but eventually added a bit more detail, and when I sat down to fix the tab, I decided to factor all my edits out into their own addon and share.

    You must have Cirk's Badapples installed before this addon will do anything. It is not an edited copy of Badapples. It is a separate addon.

    You will still get an error from Badapples on login, but that isn't something that can be fixed from "outside", and the only effect it has is preventing the addon from creating its "list of available slash commands" panel in the Interface Options frame. You can fix the error by opening Badapples.lua in Notepad or another plain-text editor, and changing the following lines:

    Line 1878: Change from "line:SetMultilineIndent(16);" to "line:SetWordWrap(true);".

    Line 1880: Change from "line:SetMultilineIndent(0);" to "line:SetWordWrap(false);".

    If/when Badapples is updated, this addon will disable itself so as not to mess with stuff that works.

    In case anyone is subscribed to this page but not the Badapples page, I've gotten in touch with Cirk and arranged to take over Badapples directly, so you can now find updates there, not here!

    It's a low priority at the moment, since I'm not currently using Badapples and only playing very casually on weekends, but I'll look into it eventaully.

    hi, any fix for 4.3 update?
    clicking badapples tab, it creates an error message.
    thx for your work and it's my favorite addon.

    Probably. I'll look into it. In the meantime, you can solve the problem yourself by opening Badapples.lua in Notepad or any other plaintext editor and replacing all ocurrences of "ChatFrameEditBox" with "ChatFrame1EditBox".
