About
Another
(unfinished) layout for Haste's oUF.
Configurable through the slash commands /oufk or /oufkui.
Designed to match KuiNameplates.

7.9x should definitely be considered a beta release. It is transitory to 008, getting most of the improvements out but it hasn't been fully tested and there are a lot of incomplete configuration options. But I'm working on that.

- transitory beta release for patch 5.0.4 and beta compatibility. Many changes. Many bugs.
- configuration is available with the slash command /oufk. It's now provided by Ace3. There are some incomplete options. Out of date configuration will be reset. Some manually changeable options still exist at the top of config.lua.
- the important abilities whitelist has been cleared to make it easier to manage with all the spell changes. It's been partially filled for warriors, paladins and shaman but remains incomplete.
- ClassBars has changed significantly, with support for most of the new alternate powers.
- Raid and party frames may not display correctly in some (or all) circumstances.
- no significant change log will be provided until 008 is released.

Love these unit frames, some of the better ones I've seen in a while. Can't wait to see them with built in raidframes etc.. Would be nice if the raid frames was possible of tracking riptide, earthshield and ancestral fortitude. That could be asking to much!

Edit: out of interest, which localisation did you try it with?

I do, yes, particularly the important spells white-list I was thinking about yesterday. For some reason I typed out all the spell names in English. And then continued to do that.

I was planning to change the font before I considered this not-beta, though I didn't realise it wasn't multilingual. That'll be annoying to test.. although I suppose I could just make test characters on other region's realms.

Also about configuration, I seem to have moved fonts into Kui, so if you know how you'll have to change them within Kui/kui.lua. Fonts are defined in the kui.m table and the actual font files are in Kui/media/f/.
Otherwise, I'll be moving that back to config.lua in the next update.

hi Kesava,

I quite like the looking of the UF, but do you have any plan to make it more localization friendly, especially the font settings? Changing the variables in the config lua file does not even make the unit name renderable.

meant something else, but your idea is cool. couldn't you just make the healthbar fill with missing health? you could even reverse the healthbar, then it would look like the portrait being the health bar and the actual healthbar being the background
That's what I meant - then to make the portrait look like the health bar, the actual bar could be coloured black, but then it'd be difficult to see the bar on, say, broken portraits, or characters with small heads/shoulder pads - most notably blood elves.

It's the opposite problem with having the health bar behind the portrait, characters with huge shoulders would cover it up, though I could make it opaque I suppose.

I'm relatively sure that exactly isn't possible, although I had a similar idea - to fill the bars with colour as they get lower. So the health bar would cover the portrait at 0%, instead of 100%.

That is, similar if I understand you properly, of course.
