Version: 7.98
by: SlikerHawk [More]
Requires oUF 1.6
About
Another
(unfinished) layout for Haste's oUF.
Configurable through the slash commands /oufk or /oufkui.
Designed to match KuiNameplates.

7.9x should definitely be considered a beta release. It is transitory to 008, getting most of the improvements out but it hasn't been fully tested and there are a lot of incomplete configuration options. But I'm working on that.

Supported plugins:Current features/frames:
  • Player
  • Pet
  • Pet target
  • Target
  • Target of Target
  • Focus
  • Party
  • Raid (w/buff indicators)
  • Secondary powers (eclipse, holy power, etc)
  • Druid mana bar
  • Totem bars
  • Combo points (and ability stack tracking)
  • Curable-debuff highlighting
Things I need to add but haven't gotten round to yet:
  • Boss and arena frames
  • Support for a few more plugins

r007.9-anotherfix

r007.9-fix
- I made a silly mistake again

r007.9
- transitory beta release for patch 5.0.4 and beta compatibility. Many changes. Many bugs.

I'll look into it but I probably won't get much opportunity to test, so it may take me a while.

There's an option for that in the next release.

I'll be looking in to boss frames and changing debuff icons to display certain important ones. A druid mana bar is implemented with 007.1.
Love the Unit Frames, was wondering if there is a way to have them not class colored
I could certainly add an option for it

Slight bug I found with the font on the raid frames. The German ÷ is displayed on the raid frames with a '?'.
I don't think there's much I can do about that besides change the font again, but I don't really want to do that. I like this one. That said I'm pretty certain this font supports European characters at least, so I'll look into it. No idea why it'd only happen in certain places, though.

Edit: yep - it's not a font issue, this font supports all European characters in WoW so.. that's.. confusing.
Edit: alright, it's fixed in the next release.

Hey,

Love how the layout looks. I was wondering if the indicators also show raid debuffs that are not cleansable (such as Molten Tantrum on magmaw). See this article for Debuffs: http://fallingleavesandwings.wordpre...kwing-descent/

I also play a druid, so I was wondering when you will be implementing a mana bar. It's also possible to just add a percentage and no bar at all, if adding a bar to the layout is a cosmetic issue.

Loving the new update! Keep up the great work

One thing I'd prefer, is to make the raid frames a little closer together a bit. I think I can do that myself through the lua though

Keep up the good work, looking better each update. A request if possible would be for boss frames with casting bar to replace the default blizzard ones. I don't think they're coded in but then I could be retarded and missed them completely.

Works great now! Thanks

I'm almost certain this is because of the same bug as below. I spotted the code which was printing 'nil' (and 'target') to the chat frame shortly after I uploaded the last version. Just a bit of debug code I left in. 006.9.2 (which I just uploaded, so it's waiting to be verified) removes it.

I can only think the error might be because of Kui; KuiNameplates had an outdated version of Kui for an hour or so while it was being verified, so if you downloaded it during that time, it would've caused some issues.

I just tested again with a clean install oUF_Kui, installing KuiNameplates afterwards (and overwriting) and it worked, so all I can suggest - if you haven't already - is deleting oUF_Kui, Kui and KuiNameplates and re-downloading them. It should definitely work after that.

This is the first time I've installed it ever. Plus I don't actually see anything wrong, the error just comes and I don't see anything actually suffering from the error.

I do have your nameplates addon installed though. I don't think that would affect it but I'll take a look anyway

EDIT: Got home to test out party frames. I invited a friend - fine. Invited another and I couldn't see a frame for them and "nil" was printed to the chat window.

Another edit: invited another (who was willing to help me test it out...) and it showed a frame for her, but not the previous party member!

Either your font or outline setting in config is wrong, or you didn't replace Kui. Since I changed the default font you need to replace both config.lua (an annoyance I'll be fixing relatively soon) and Kui with the ones in the download.

Having said that it looks like it "should" be breaking on everything else as well, so let me know what happens. It definitely works from a clean install, though.

Not sure where to post bug reports, so I'll do it here.

I got this error after logging in, Riptiding myself (Shaman of course!) and then targetting myself:

Code:
oUF_Kui\global.lua:135: Usage: <unnamed>:SetFont("font", fontHeight [, flags])
oUF_Kui\global.lua:135: in function `func'
oUF-1.5.8\events.lua:18: in function <oUF\events.lua:16>
(tail call): ?:
EDIT: This happens every time I change target as well.

In that case I'm afraid it's difficult or impossible for me to test support for old versions of WoW. I don't know what I changed in 6.x which would break support for it - I would have imagined 5.x didn't work either.

Do you plan a support of oUF_MovableFrames ?
That's supported already without me making any changes. Some positions will be off (frames will intersect with each other) unless you keep the general layout the same, but I think that's to be expected.
