DeathMotes is a simple mod that will say various things to party/raid chat upon death. The current list of comments are:
"has died of dysentery"
"A type error has occurred. Expected: heals. Received: nil."
"Array index out of bounds: damage exceeded HP"
"A fatal error has occurred in the process <name>. Wipe or Continue?"
"Attempt to index global 'hp' a nil value."
"attempted to divide by 0."
"Hey guys, watch THIS!"
"Now that <name> is finally dead we can kill this thing...wait, did I say that out loud?"
"here lies <name>. peperony and chees"
Additional suggestions are welcome.
DeathMotes starts activated, but to toggle it, use the following slash commands:
/dm on: Activate DeathMotes
/dm off: Deactivate DeathMotes
Per request, added a feature to also broadcast to guild. It's off by default, but to change this do the following:
/dm guildon: Broadcast DeathMotes to guild
/dm guildoff: Do not broadcast DeathMotes to guild
Ideally I'll make this preference persistent with a saved variable, but I haven't done much with lua, so when I get a chance to implement that I will
