What is it

nibPointDisplay is a customizable graphical display of class points and aura stacks. There's a lot of options, so be prepared to get your hands dirty and your interface looking good


Textures

nibPointDisplay supports SharedMedia, so you can add any custom textures you'd like. By default it comes with Triangle, Circle, Plain, Soul Shard and Holy Power textures. Please see the bottom of this page for a small SharedMedia guide.

Shared Media Guide

If you wish to use your own custom textures, then the best way to do this is with SharedMedia.


Step 1: Install SharedMedia
  1. Download SharedMedia
  2. Copy the SharedMedia folder from the download to your Interface\AddOns\ folder
  3. Inside the Interface\AddOns\SharedMedia\ folder, rename MyMedia.bat.txt to MyMedia.bat
  4. Double-click MyMedia.bat

Step 2: Install your custom textures
  • You can either grab textures from other downloads (such as Power Auras Classic) or create your own. Custom textures will have either a .blp or .tga file extension.
  • Move any custom texture files you want to use into the SharedMedia_MyMedia\background\ folder.
  • Run the MyMedia.bat file once again to register your new textures.

Yeah I know it's pretty useless to care about it but that's just me being stupidly strict or minimalistic (or whatever you want to call it).
I also just noticed I somehow missed out on the combat fader version. *feels stupid*

Love the flexibility of the display options.

Last version or so, you added ability to configure size, color, etc for each point bar independently. Was just wondering if it would be possible to get a check box for these settings to be inherited from the 1st point bar.

i.e. Bars 2 thru 5 get their size and color based on whatever bar 1 is set at. Position for each bar would be set independently. A check box for each customizable option to copy the setting from bar 1.

It's a good idea, and I tried it once (but failed miserably). Will do more research and testing into the idea and can hopefully come up with a working solution.

Thank you for the mod it is one of the best looking CP addons I have ever used. Would it be possible to get the color codes you use for the old points bars. I personally don't like the gray on gray.

As far as I can tell, this is an issue with AceDB or AceConfig. When it happens, it will randomly affect a different saved setting and stick to reverting that setting to the default, and it's different for everyone. I spent a good two days exploring this issue, because it was just so weird.

The latest Ace libraries are causing errors, so I'll have to wait until their next release for another attempt at fixing this.

I just downloaded your addon and I seem to be having troubles getting the Mage Arcane Blast component to work. I have gotten the Paladin Holy Power component to work just fine but not the Mage.

I have the same options set for both so I am unsure why 1 component would work properly, while the other wont even display unless being configured. Is there another addon, say Satrina Buffs which could be causing your addon to not display the Arcane Blast debuffs?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's possible my SpellID for it is incorrect. I'll do some testing and upload a fix

hey, nib. love the addon. Mobile and customizable makes me happy. I'm wondering if you'd thought about creating a similar module to see target's points?

I've currently worked the point display inside of the blank space on pitbull frames, making it look integrated. However, for symmetry's sake, my target frames are sitting with useless blank space. And I can't help but think that keeping track of anything from maelstrom weapon stacks to holy power of my target would be very helpful.

Hey great addon i love the core functionality

how do i add textures to use for a spark or just to add some as backgrounds etc? i tried dropping tga files into your media folder but they didn't show up in the dropdown list
