F.A.Q
Q. How do i Move my focus/party/raid?
A. As of 3.1 All frames are now movable by holding Alt and dragging no need to unlock or lock them with a command or button.

Q. I changed a option but nothing changed.
A. Some of the new options in 3.1 for Raid/Party Frames require a /reload to be done after changing them, no it will not always be like this but in order to get it out in time for MOP launch day some convenience had to be sacrificed.

Installation
Disable oUF if you have it installed, This is a addon library used for unit frames SpartanUI has this built in and having a version not compatible with SpartanUI will break things.

List of slash-commands:

**type all options in the chat box**
/sui (shows options window)
/spin (Toggles Spin Cam)
/sui version (Shows which version of SpartanUI you are using)

High customization - All Options are being rewrote for 5.1 MOP
Profiles - with options being rewrote SpartanUI will now support profiles

Raid frames with healer mode and DPS mode. One focuses on a quick overview while healer mode will draw attention to those low on health and larger frames than in dps mode
Focus Fame and focus Target have been redesigned and are movable

3.1.3:
Fix - Monk class icon not showing in party frames.
Fix - Monk Statue moved to the right of the CHI.
Fix - Party frames now properly update when someone was invited while in combat.
Fix - Party Frame not showing up after leaving battleground.
Fix - Moved the Extra Power bar (Petrification bar in MV) to the left so its aligned with the player frame to account some people having a issue in Shado-pan Monastery where the bar overlaps with the extra action button on the last boss. (Temporary Fix, Long term this will move only if it needs to)
Change - SpartanUI no longer hides blizzard buffs, blizz does not allow addons to turn off buffs without some lengthy work arounds.
Removed - Player buffs are no longer displayed on the player frame.
Fix - Misc bugs.

I noticed LOTS of ppl are having this problem. Please follow the steps below to disable the "Blizzard Art Bar".

1. Locate the Bartender4 Icon on the mini-mapand "Right Click".
2. In the left you will see a list of Bars. Click on "Blizzard Art Bar".
3. Uncheck Enabled, then click Close.

For people who would ALSO like to disable the "Blizzard Vehicle Bars" and use the attack bars on SpartanUI instead, please follow the steps below.

1. Locate the Bartender4 Icon on the mini-mapand "Right Click".
2. It should default to the Section you need to be in which is "Bars".
3. Uncheck "Use Blizzard Vehichle UI", then click Close.

Strife[CUK] A Deviate Faerie Dragon Forum posts: 10 File comments: 312 Uploads: 6	Nice to see this fan update. Having an old spartan, did have a couple of minor issues on first load. In the end I completely removed Spartan*, oui and bartender. Removed all relevant WTF files. Reinstalled and then hit the issue with the blizzard artwork, removing this and resetting the profile in bartender meant I had to run /sui reset to get the bars back in position. Login to subsequent toons worked without any issues, although I did the reset as suggested in the dialogues. (didn't see this on first load) -- Thank you for bringing this UI to life in v4.

1st: This is in no way related to SpartanUI (FanUpdate), it's related to WoW going patch 4.0.1, and the fact that Blizzard changed some stuff about Inspection.

2nd: If you saw my message last week about Inspection, did you also see that this is a bug coursed by Blizzard's code .... ? I even supplied links to Blizzards forum where solutions where posted.

3rd: If I run GearScore (& BonusScanner) I can inspect 1 person then I get the bug, it's some sort of security measure Blizzard implemented, so here is how to fix it:

SOLUTION: DISABLE GearScore & BonusScanner & what other AddOns you might be using that use the Inspect API, then log out of WoW (if you have WoW runnning) then delete your cache folder (again), and now yo should be able to Inspect people again ...

Edit: BTW, If you chose to enable GearScore or other AddOns of that type you WILL get the bug again, until the AddOns do it the way Blizzard want AddOns to do it (might also just be a bug in Blizzards code, can't say since I got no official word on it).

There are a couple bugs/things I have been noticing since I have been installing the updates.

1: After the most recent Patch 2.6.3 RC5.1, the Bartender4 addon had (enabled) the "Blizzard Art Bar" which was Overlaying the Standard Blizzard Attack bars over top of SpartanUI. I dont know if it was just me having the issues or happening for everyone. For some ppl, it could possibly frustrate them to the point of uninstalling SpartanUI.

2. Also, I am glad you had fixed the Party Frames. I noticed on the "OLD" SpartanUI prior to the Fan Update, you had to disable the Player Frames in order for SpartanUI to work. But I do want to let you know that "IF" people have the NEW feature from Blizzard in the Interface Options (Unit Frames: Use Raid-Style Party Frames) enabled, not only will they have the SpartanUI party frames they will also have the blizzard raid frames as well. In order for the blizzard party frames to disappear I had to disable that option.

3. Lastly, I dont know if this is just me having issues with "Button Lock" on Bartendar4. But even though I have Button Lock enabled, sometimes, but rarely, when im playing/raiding i will be able to click/drag one of my actions off the toolbar even though my button lock is enabled. I dunno if this issue should be reported to Bartendar4 developers or if SpartanUI is causing the problem.

I think you have done a great job with the Update and wonder even though it has been working fairly stable why dont you add it under Curse.com. I think a LOT of people would appreciate it being available on Curse.com. Plus if you have the Support linked to this website you would probably recieve a lot more reports on bugs if people are having any. Just my opinion...

I'll note the Raid style UnitFrame issue on the list on Google Code and deal with it asap.

Yeah, most people might be getting the issue with the Blizzard Art, I simply missed it somehow, next release will deal with this, putting it on the Google Code issue list.

About Button Locking, it's a Bartender issue, and due to Bartender being a active project I'll let them handle the Bartender issue's, I'm simply packing their product with SpartanUI (FanUpdate).

About Curse ... have already been mentioned before, but I don't mind repeating it once in a while ... Curse rejected my FanUpdate due to not having proper right's ...
meaning they want to to get a hold of Ansu to get approval to upload my FanUpdate to Curse ... and personally I don't want to spend a lot of time trying to get a hold of him,
so for now (maybe all time) I'll not be uploading to Curse ... so as I tell people: "set SpartanUI to Ignore in the Curse Client if it detect SpartanUI (FanUpdate)" ....
that said: I'm re-writing the entire code from scratch, there are a lot of reason's for this but don't want to get into details,
the re-write version is currently called 2ndGen, and might remain with that name ...
potentially once that project gets off the ground for good that might be uploaded onto Curse, but again that depends on how Curse chose to act when I try to upload that.
