Use curse.com to get this addon

The mods here will not give me full control (Azgaurd) over the addon here and i have been the only person working on it in the last year. As a result the addon will no longer be updated here nor will I be paying any attention to the forum here.
3.1.2:
-Added Monk Chi bar

3.1.3:
Fix - Monk class icon not showing in party frames.
Fix - Monk Statue moved to the right of the CHI.
Fix - Party frames now properly update when someone was invited while in combat.
Fix - Party Frame not showing up after leaving battleground.
Fix - Moved the Extra Power bar (Petrification bar in MV) to the left so its aligned with the player frame to account some people having a issue in Shado-pan Monastery where the bar overlaps with the extra action button on the last boss. (Temporary Fix, Long term this will move only if it needs to)
Change - SpartanUI no longer hides blizzard buffs, blizz does not allow addons to turn off buffs without some lengthy work arounds.
Removed - Player buffs are no longer displayed on the player frame.
Fix - Misc bugs.

Hi,

I'm really new to this (only been playing wow for a month or so) and this is my first interface to play with.

How do I get the the 2 top smaller bars to stay visible (they are currently partially visible and open up on mouseover)

You are using the wrong version, that is the error you get from the "Standart" SpartanUI ... you need to set SpartanUI to Ignore in Curse Client, and then delete ALL SpartanUI folders then reinstall from a fresh download.

my guess would be its a chat addon causing a conflict. which chat addons are you using as not getting that bug with any of the releases since patch 4.01 though i dont use a chat addon

Guild icon dosn't show up

The little guild icon you click doesn't show up with spartan UI on, but with it off it shows up.
This error might have something to do with it.

zilver - it may be me however cant see any change in the positioning of the eclipse bar, however its a heck of alot clearer than it used to be so thank you for that.

First of Zilver thank you soooooo much for taking this on and making it even better then it was IMHO!!

That being said I have 2 quick questions/bugs/suggestions not sure which they are

1. When you report an issue please write what version you are using. (*)
If you get an error message in-game report it and include the error message please.
It takes so little time, and help SO MUCH.

* "/sui version" can tell you what version you are using if you don't know.
So what version are you using?

That said: this issue was fixed recently, and should be working 100% ... personally I have the problem of clicking em when trying to click some of my spell's on my "bottom" bar's... so I see the tip popup several times a day.

Also I've seen quite a few problems go away the last couple of days, after telling people to delete ALL SpartanUI folders, and then reinstall it from a fresh download.

Should you be using Curse Client, then double check that you have SpartanUI set to Ignore if it's showing in the list of installed AddOns.

Sounds like something is wrong with your files, only idea I have off the top of my head is to delete all SpartanUI folders (oUF & Bartender included), re-install SpartanUI (FanUpdate), Backup & delete "WoW"\WTF\Account\"AccountName"\"ServerName"\"CharacterName"\SavedVariables\SpartanUI.lua, then enter game and test if you still get that message.

If this doesn't work I don't know what will.

Yeah i figured it was something like that the problem is that no mate what number i enter.

Say for example i enter /sui scale 0.8 and i get the message "Relative Scale set to 2.35" then i try any other combination of numbers and it still says the same thing.

If you want to make SpartanUI smaller, use a value below 1
Ex: 0.8
if you want to make it bigger use a value above 1
Ex: 1.3

Thank you for all the information provided, in this case the information is gonna lead to me having an answer to your question in one strike.

The thing about SpartanUI profile generated inside Bartender, is that it'll not be using UIParent as the Parent, so when you copy the settings from SpartanUI's profile you are also copying the SpartanUI Parent settings ... those Parent settings are the reason that the "new" Profile is acting up for you ... also the reason SpartanUI is blocking the click & drag bar's feature in Bartender when using the SpartanUI profile, if you want to place the bars differently, you can use the [+] / [-] in the Positioning of Bar(x).

I hope that this information will help you on what you are doing.

BTW: the SpartanUI Parent is: "SUI_ActionBarPlate" should that information be relevant for you.
