Disable oUF if you have it installed, This is a addon library used for unit frames SpartanUI has this built in and having a version not compatible with SpartanUI will break things.


F.A.Q

Q. How do i Move my focus/party/raid?

A. As of 3.1 All frames are now movable by holding Alt and dragging no need to unlock or lock them with a command or button.

Q. I changed a option but nothing changed.

A. Some of the new options in 3.1 for Raid/Party Frames require a /reload to be done after changing them, no it will not always be like this but in order to get it out in time for MOP launch day some convenience had to be sacrificed.

Fix - Moved the Extra Power bar (Petrification bar in MV) to the left so its aligned with the player frame to account some people having a issue in Shado-pan Monastery where the bar overlaps with the extra action button on the last boss. (Temporary Fix, Long term this will move only if it needs to)
Change - SpartanUI no longer hides blizzard buffs, blizz does not allow addons to turn off buffs without some lengthy work arounds.
Removed - Player buffs are no longer displayed on the player frame.
Fix - Misc bugs.

I've been using SpartanUI for a while now so I was excited to see a fan update . I was wondering if there was any way to add a visual heal or healing estimate to the SpartanUI unit frames? I really like the way the unit frames look but for the longest time I have had them replaced with pitbull since I just couldn't figure out a way to get anything to work with the frames so I could see that. So does anyone know a way to do this with the unit/party/raid frames or am I stuck using pitbull for self/target/party and grid for raid?

so far the bugs ive noticed is the bar under the party frame some of the buffs blink nonstop and ive been having trouble clicking on peoples party frame

Just to make sure, I did a quick test, and this was my result:
In Combat


After Combat


I'm fairly sure that the bar is showing, but I can look through Blizzards code and check if they change FrameStrata or FrameLevel on it, if they don't it should never not show.

The Paladin Holy Power Bar is now always hidden out of combat and only shows up when you're in combat (using RC4.1).

I don't think this used to happen before - even if so, is there any way you can "lock" it?

Buttons: It's an Bartender4 change, nothing I can do about it, if you are unhappy with the looks please take it up with the Bartender4 Developers.

Castbar: The bar filling can currently be changed, you may find info in the Change Log, the timer counting down vs up will also be sorted when Critical issues have been sorted.

Sticky Targeting: You got the answer already, but yeah some settings was reset when 4.0.1 went live, so go into the Interface menu and change the option.

Thats in your interface, first tab (i think)...called sticky target.

It's not my spells blinking, it's buffs/debuffs on party members blinking like disco balls

Minimap issues

I became aware about several Minimap issues yesterday evening, so I will be addressing em in the coming days.

You sir are correct, it was a typo coming from almost no sleep for days coding stuff, anyway they actually are there, you just cant see em they are below some of the other graphic, I'll upload RC4.1 with it fixed later tonight.

A quick fix would be to open up: "SpartanUI_PlayerFrames\scripts\Unit-PlayerFrame.lua" with notepad or another text editing tool and change each of these:

@SenseiLoki: I will take a look in the old code and see if I missed something, but to my knowledge latest official Beta release didn't have this functionality, and neither did the r100 from from the official Google code repository.

That being said, I have a thought of creating an custom show/hide functionality, something like this could potentially also be incorporated.

If I'm following the developer's time line correctly, the fix should be already on his RC4 version.
@Sensei_Sin: you sir are correct, the issue was with the Viewport and was fixed within 21 hours (in the Google code repository) of the first report of it, so Yes the issue should have been fixed in RC4.

For fix de whell scrolling.
Open Minimap.lua in /global

Go to line 112:

There was a function to disable Target of Target. I used it before but Since this Fan update replaced my files (as any addon will) I can not remember how to make it so Spartan does not show Target of Target. Anyone know how? I thought it was in the ouf/lua but I am not seeing it now
