SpartanUI
SpartanUI was originally designed to free your screen by moving a majority of the interface elements to the bottom. While that is still the core focus of the primary addon and configuration it has become much more since MoP.

Whats new in SpatanUI 4.0

Starting with SpartanUI 4.0.0 SpartanUI has begun to introduce a fully theme-able system giving you multiple looks and styles.
Completely modular so that you, the user can use only the pieces you want and give you the complete control over your UI.
Faster releases, the 8 months between the last 3.x release and 4.0 was due to the massive rebuild of many internal systems. The new themes are not done. The new Components are not done, nor are all the new components done being added. Now that the core has been rebuilt the plan is to get more updates out faster.
Think something is missing? Is there that one thing keeping you from using SpartanUI? Please let me know, your comments and suggestions are what drive the development. Without your suggestions I can only add stuff based on my play style.

Thanks for the update! I was really worried that this addon would be dead come Cataclysm. Question for you, though: Do you plan to bring back the viewporting once Blizzard fixes the issues with reflections being bugged while using a viewport?

YES, I do plan to bring back the viewport functionallity, if Blizzard fixes the problem with reflections.

Zilver over and out, gonna take a nap now, been coding for about 8 hours to finish up and get a release out ... lol.

Anyway if you got any leave feedback, issue reports (though I would love those to go to the Google Code Repository) and what else you feel like sharing, and I'll get back to you when I've had some sleep

I had another suggestion if possible. Can you insert the option "focus" in the popup menu from the player- and targetframe? I would like to take depending on the situation myself, orthe target into the focus. Unfortunately, in Spartanui has been missing this opportunity. In the Standard-UI you can set focus over the popup-menü.

Have a look at issue 1

Currently NO CUSTOM UnitFrame can use "Set Focus" or "Clear Focus" in the PopUpMenu, this is a limitation Blizzard created until they chose to fix it, you simply can't use em on a custom Unitframe, so instead of getting 1000 issue reports about it being tainted I chose to simply remove the option.

I do appreciate feedback, but seriously!!!!
I'm spending A LOT OF HOURS ON THIS, and you can't take just a few min to write some proper feedback

1st: There actually came 2 new druid bars, so which one is it? (EclipseBar or Alternate ManaBar) and where EXACTLY is it you think it would fit in better? (place it over the player name?)
2nd: What do you mean that it's not updating properly? (It's the *censored out* Blizzard Bar, if Blizzards code tell it to update it'll update, currently all I do to the Eclipse/Alternate ManaBar/ShardBar/HolyPowerBar is Move & Scale the BLIZZARD BAR's)
3rd: Posting pictures or spending a few minutes to describe your problem / alternate solution won't kill you.
4th: There is a edit button on your post, please use it if you forgot to write something.

Sorry, but had to get that off my chest,
I have spend like ... 13+ (days) of 8 - 9 (hours)
making it like somewhere around lets say ...
13 * 8,5 = 110,5 hours,
and that is only the work I've been doing since I uploaded the first Alpha onto WoWInterface.com ... spend a lot of time on it before I even uploaded that first Alpha.

Think I'm gonna need another day off from coding and support soon ... I might be putting too much time and energy into this.

sorry zilver on those comments i was in a rush when put those. looking at now yes would have been better to put alot better.

1: you're updating this far faster than most other addon providers so if need to take time off then do so. you've got a life and game time same as the rest of us. if need time for self to enjoy the game then take it.

2: ok the prob with the eclipse bar updating is something else interfering which is going to take time to narrow down what it is out of the numerous i'm using. I'm basing it off playing the game without any addons versus playing with addons.

3: the eclipse bar scale is perfect imho as its clear and legible. The place suggested originally was directly underneath the existing health and mana bars as there was enough room between the bars and the bag toolbar.

i've tried a few diff ways to get a screenshot up here to show what i mean to no avail.

just adjusting the contrast or colours of the bar, if poss, to make it clearer at a smaller size.

Without totally redesigning the nameplate section, cant think of a better place to put it. Not in the slightest suggesting you do so as that's more work than 3 types of chars deserve at mo given 4.03 is within 5 weeks and still got the bugs and mini-hotfix patches to get through which could seriously screw things up.


artarist - each vehicle is slightly diff sometimes its an action bar button sometimes its part of the artwork. if you go into bartender setup itself you'll find an option to put the vehicle bar as active (default inactive) downside is it throws the bars into the middle of screen right above where the map is. you need to put 2 rows to get exit and elevation controls to appear.

I'm just tired, I guess, so might be I'm a tad oversensitive today (Sorry).
That said, I still don't know what exact bar you think is wrongly placed or where exactly you think it would be better to place it...

About the update problem you are having, would be great if you could post a screenshot or something to make the problem clear, since the bar's run directly on blizzards code I'm not sure I can do anything about it, but maybe I can do something to them ... that said with around half an hour of testing fighting Training Dummies going in and out of combat I've had no issues with neither of the two Druid Bars.

think this is more my clarity than your misunderstanding. i've edited an earlier post in regards to clarifying what i meant about inplace of nameplate. Thinking on it now, that solution is more work than justified at the moment with the number of patches about to drop on the game. Well we have 4.03 end of november and cataclysm just after which is going to mess things around further.

I've 2 screenshots trying to find way to get shown. 1 is middle of lk p1 fight showing starfire eclipse proc happening and the eclipse bar still showing ' 0 ' and the dial in the middle. the other was actually a ui error (as it turns out) showing the bag bar open full and the eclipse bar fitting perfectly between the bag bar and the health&mana frames.

The new eclipse bar is causing several druid addon writers no end of headaches as others are struggling to get that to parse properly or display properly.

Put your work in context to gatherer which up until midway through last week (based of developer comments in their own website) wasnt going to be updated until cataclysm shipped.
