SpartanUI
SpartanUI was originally designed to free your screen by moving a majority of the interface elements to the bottom. While that is still the core focus of the primary addon and configuration it has become much more since MoP.

Whats new in SpatanUI 4.0

Starting with SpartanUI 4.0.0 SpartanUI has begun to introduce a fully theme-able system giving you multiple looks and styles.
Completely modular so that you, the user can use only the pieces you want and give you the complete control over your UI.
Faster releases, the 8 months between the last 3.x release and 4.0 was due to the massive rebuild of many internal systems. The new themes are not done. The new Components are not done, nor are all the new components done being added. Now that the core has been rebuilt the plan is to get more updates out faster.
Think something is missing? Is there that one thing keeping you from using SpartanUI? Please let me know, your comments and suggestions are what drive the development. Without your suggestions I can only add stuff based on my play style.

-Added Monk Chi bar

3.1.3:
Fix - Monk class icon not showing in party frames.
Fix - Monk Statue moved to the right of the CHI.
Fix - Party frames now properly update when someone was invited while in combat.
Fix - Party Frame not showing up after leaving battleground.
Fix - Moved the Extra Power bar (Petrification bar in MV) to the left so its aligned with the player frame to account some people having a issue in Shado-pan Monastery where the bar overlaps with the extra action button on the last boss. (Temporary Fix, Long term this will move only if it needs to)
Change - SpartanUI no longer hides blizzard buffs, blizz does not allow addons to turn off buffs without some lengthy work arounds.
Removed - Player buffs are no longer displayed on the player frame.
Fix - Misc bugs.

great work.

I was a problem with the blizzard chat frame that appears like your screenshot, I can't move to bottom completly. A recommendation for temporaly fix this, is using "prat" addon for customice it.

i dont know if its ever been mentioned (too many comments). but sometimes when the target has too many buffs on him, your buffs that you have on him wont actually show. it seems there is a max amount of buffs that can be displayed

first, sorry for my bad english but its not my mothertongue
thank you for this great UI!

but ive a problem with it. after time the icons from the char, the guild, the questlog and so.. doesn't exist and i have to reload the ui..

do you know something about this problem?

i love how spartan is working in the newer versions of wow just wish there was optional skin selections via a gui.

It is a problem with bartender not with spartan UI.
You are talking about the Micro Menu, lots of people have been reporting that on bartenders forum. I am having the same problem right now.

There is a bartender issue at the moment with the micro menu. At random moments, the mico menu disappears from the layout. It reappears again later on only to disappear. As murphy would have it, its always at the most annoying time.

great addon/ui, awesome to see someone picked this up and has continued development.
is there anyway to get rid of the pop up bars completely? playing around with my ui as a whole and was wondering if this is possible. im hoping its something as simple as just deleting a file but dont want to start deleting stuff lol

Have a question please

My wife loved spartanui and quit using it when it was no longer being supported. When i found out that it was being supported by a new author she was very happy.So i just reinstalled and there are 2 boxes with green backgrounds a very large one and a smaller one, the larger one says objective tracker mover the other box says vehicle seat mover what are these and how do i turn these off. Thank you

This doesn't sound like sui, this sounds like and other addon maybe, I'll play with mine see if I can get that to show up too.

figured it out, if any one else wants to completely remove the pop ups (so that they are no longer in game at all) just remove the following files in the spartanUI media folder:

bar-popup1

bar-popup2

bar-backdrop0

and again great addon/ui, its great to see it come back to life

Must admit I can't be 100% that i read what all wrote since I last wrote, been sick ..... and yeah this is my 3rd week now and still not entirely done being sick, though I hope it's finally coming to and end ....

That said I've been trying my best to keep up with what have been written during this time (like I normally do) and I hope all have gotten their answers by either me or other users, if not do post.

I again have seen a increase in reports of issues (with version 2.6.1) with the "old" 2.6.1 this was the last official release from the official developer team, so I wanted to make it clear again that I do not support the official version, but what I do is I try to keep the (FanUpdate) running as smoth as I can ...
When taking this up again, I would also again like to make it clear that even though Bartender is a big part of this UI I don't offer direct support on it, you should direct issues related to Bartender to the Bartender developer team.

Do note that this (FanUpdate) project is only being developed by me and my time isn't always perfect which lead to periods where development is gonna be really slow (due to to few hands or time), the thought is that when I get it done I'll release 2ndGen (which is what I have called the re-write version) which is gonna replace the (FanUpdate), but for now 2ndGen is far from done, so development of the (FanUpdate) will continue for a while yet to come.

Lastly I would like to say thanks to all the users out there for the support & especially for taking their time to help other users with their questions.

buffs and debuffs

Hey Zilver,

Just a quick inquiry, do you know how to setup the buff/debuff for this ui? I know that for Xperl, you can make ur target's buff or debuff bigger so that it's noticeable on ur end. For example: for casters (priests) when i cast my DoTs... it's kinda hard to tell which spells are mine on the target. I just wanna know if there's a way to make the buffs/debuffs resizeable?

This isn't possible with the current layout, but it's on the todo list for the buff/debuff's.
