Disable oUF if you have it installed, This is a addon library used for unit frames SpartanUI has this built in and having a version not compatible with SpartanUI will break things.


F.A.Q

Q. How do i Move my focus/party/raid?

A. As of 3.1 All frames are now movable by holding Alt and dragging no need to unlock or lock them with a command or button.

Q. I changed a option but nothing changed.

A. Some of the new options in 3.1 for Raid/Party Frames require a /reload to be done after changing them, no it will not always be like this but in order to get it out in time for MOP launch day some convenience had to be sacrificed.

Fix - Monk class icon not showing in party frames.

Fix - Moved the Extra Power bar (Petrification bar in MV) to the left so its aligned with the player frame to account some people having a issue in Shado-pan Monastery where the bar overlaps with the extra action button on the last boss. (Temporary Fix, Long term this will move only if it needs to)
Change - SpartanUI no longer hides blizzard buffs, blizz does not allow addons to turn off buffs without some lengthy work arounds.
Removed - Player buffs are no longer displayed on the player frame.
Fix - Misc bugs.

Wink Missing party Frames

Spartan seems to be the only good interface that I've been able to find and am really thankful for the work done on it. I went to the page were you suggested to report issues and couldn't see how to do that. Anyway, I have had a problem with my party members frames not showing up top left when I invite people or am invited to a group. Yesterday it worked fine, then the next party I was invited to, the frames were missing. I tried everything and couldn't get them working so I ended up deleting the add ons directory and pulling my WTF out of the file system. I've yet to reinstall it and try it again, but I'm about to.

I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this problem or if it is a known issue?

I was also wondering if it were possible to help you out on the testing and adding a small donation for such great work. Really love Spartan and want to see it get better and would be willing to help. I'm also an excellent graphic designer.

Hey there! I myself have a SPriest so I understand the importance of DoTs. I recently changed to Xperl for player/party/unit frames but instead of using these for DoTs I suggest you pick up Quartz as it comes with a box of timers for your debuffs on a target and can help you down to the millisecond.

I further suggest Tidy Plates, this will be new name plates against targets and will even display your debuffs above their head with a timer which is fantastic for a priest multi-tab targetting (as our aoe sucks ).

Both together are sexy, and more importantly re-sizeable as you asked for.

I hope these will solve it for you.

Unit frames

Hey i just downloaded the latest version,(2.6.3) unzipped and put bartender, uof, and the spartan files in wow>interface>addons and everything is working fine, except the unit frames are not working, i get the default blizzard unit frame at the top left, not the bottom central spartan ui frame. what am i doing wrong?

Thanks for the replay we figured it out, she uses the sexymap addon once we turned it off everything was fine. We turned it back on to double check and thats what it was.

New version of Bartender is out (4.4.17), just wanted to let those that didn't know about it know ....

I didn't have time to check change log or anything of that sort, but just saw that the update was there, and thought I would inform of it.

Here is an update to the "Curse.com" situation,
I've come to the conclusion that Curse.com isn't interested in listening (for that sake reading),
so I have now decided to stop my support of the Curse.com site 100% ...

so from this point on I will in no way support the CurseClient or the Curse.com site in ANY way,
this means that I'll not be uploading ANYTHING onto Curse.com EVER again.

After somewhere between 25 - 40 hours of text editing and mis-communication back and forth,
I don't wanna use even a sec more on the Curse.com Site or staff.

This is a statement, and I don't see this as an opening for a discussion about it,
but should you chose to ignore this fact don't expect any response from my side.

Viewport

It would be nice if the UI adjusted the viewport of the gameworld so that it doesn't render behind the lower graphics. Losing a little of the world behind the minimap and unit frames is okay but the majority shouldn't cover up the game world.

In my screen shot I used:

I'd like to change it to /sui alpha (n) [all, base, bars] to have more control and I still need to figure out the rep and XP bars as when I fade them I get a bad glow effect so it might not be possible with the current theme on SUI.

Also while doing this, I noticed the viewport, I'm going to attempt a fix there too, but it'll be a little more complex since I'll first need to figure out the diff between the Blizz art and SUI Art work then that diff * the scale to know how much to move it. As I'm still learning this might take me a bit longer to figure out.

it takes in account the scale and works, if you change the sui scale just issue a reload for the viewport to catch up at this point.

I don't recommend you use both the alpha and view port as once you move the view port it's black bellow it so it'll look funny.

This is not the first time I've received a request to re-integrate this, so I'll have a good look at it again ...
That said I removed the functionality due to issues with how Viewport was coded on Blizzards end when they pushed the 4.0.1 patch (there was graphical issues when near water if the viewport was changed in anyway), they may very well have fixed this issue since then but I'll need to do some test's to check on it.

Reading this made me think about it, but please keep in mind that this isn't a promise, but I'll check up on it, and if you are lucky I might end up giving it a try (this also depends on wowmatrix, since they have the last say in whether they want me posting SpartanUI (FanUpdate) onto their site).

Version: 2.6.3 RC5.4 is the latest version. The previous version had this problem for some reason. The only thing that fixed this was to delete the old SpartanUI files and unzip the latest version into the addons folder again.

Your party frames should come back. If not, then you might have to go into World of Warcraft>WTF>Account>AccountName>Saved Variables and make sure to delete or remove the Bartender4.lua and then reinstall SpartanUI. I had to do this to get my party frames to come back.

I've just taken a look at the files in SpartanUI and I can reskin it and also create custom skins. I don't want to undertake this if there's no interest though because it's not a simple process. If there is enough demand, I can customize the skin with pretty much anything you want.

Spartan ui

I got a problem with the UI , when I get teleported to a instance or when i ride a veichle for example , my menu go away . When i do /reload consoleui it comes back again . any ideas?
