SpartanUI Is designed to free your screen by moving a majority of the interface elements to the bottom. It is the new look for World of Warcraft. Originally Created by Ansu of Dalaran (aka Atriace) it is now managed and maintained by Libidos of Azgalor. You can now join the project on facebook where i will be posting polls and asking other general questions about the direction of the addon.

Disable oUF if you have it installed, This is a addon library used for unit frames SpartanUI has this built in and having a version not compatible with SpartanUI will break things.


F.A.Q

Q. How do i Move my focus/party/raid?

A. As of 3.1 All frames are now movable by holding Alt and dragging no need to unlock or lock them with a command or button.

Q. I changed a option but nothing changed.

A. Some of the new options in 3.1 for Raid/Party Frames require a /reload to be done after changing them, no it will not always be like this but in order to get it out in time for MOP launch day some convenience had to be sacrificed.

3.1.3:
Fix - Monk class icon not showing in party frames.
Fix - Monk Statue moved to the right of the CHI.
Fix - Party frames now properly update when someone was invited while in combat.
Fix - Party Frame not showing up after leaving battleground.
Fix - Moved the Extra Power bar (Petrification bar in MV) to the left so its aligned with the player frame to account some people having a issue in Shado-pan Monastery where the bar overlaps with the extra action button on the last boss. (Temporary Fix, Long term this will move only if it needs to)
Change - SpartanUI no longer hides blizzard buffs, blizz does not allow addons to turn off buffs without some lengthy work arounds.
Removed - Player buffs are no longer displayed on the player frame.
Fix - Misc bugs.

It seems as though the first line of buffs is the only thing that is to the left, I think it's just basing the location of that flag. the frame is MiniMapInstanceDifficulty, I think its' parent is MinimapCluster.

Edit: I just anchored it to the minimap, and it only needed to be set when logging in and reloading ui. i did topleft to bottomleft with 0, 30 and scale of 0.5... there might be a better spot though and i dono how well 0.5 would work with a smaller screen... i have a resolution of 2564x1440.

I also set the lock shard display to be anchored top player frame bottom -35, 0.... and scale of 0.75. with them on the top, it was just hanging off the side a little and i think any further right and it might cover the name a little (for longer names).

Hey, please somebody help me
I updated my outdated Spartan UI v2.6.3 ALPHA, to the 2.6.3 Beta.
But it replaced the original Blizzard fonts in the chat windows.
How can i change it back to normal? And disable the outline around the text?

Change Units Frames.

Hi there!
I really like a lot ur ui!
I am here to ask u if i can do the following changes to unit frames?
1)I need Health to show like 150K and not 150000.Can i do anything for this?
2)I need to change Player and Target Frame size to a little bigger without changing all the scale of the ui.
3)Can i change the size font of the Health and Mana to the player and target frames?
4)On Target Frame i want buffs to look a little bigger?
Pls help me with these change.Guide me a little throught the files of spartanui if u can and i ll try to fix them alone!

Hey there.
Bravo on taking over SpartanUI! It's my favourite UI by far and I'm glad that it's being worked on once again

However, is there a way to disable the new chat modifications so I can revert it back to the default chat? It does nothing for me personally, and I dislike how I'm missing the buttons on the left, like the Friends window so I can see how many are on, as well as the new typing box on the top with it's white border; not so keen on that either I'm afraid.

If this is possible I'd greatly appreciate the directions to revert back to default chat.

Thank you very much for putting your time into this. I honestly do appreciate it and I'm sure many others do as well!

Vaebris has fixed that here is his quote on the subject:


This feature is currently in the beta dev branch and will be pushed out in the next beta release. If you want the feature now you can pull from github.

I've downloaded the latest changes from the beta branch and currently working on a toggle to turn on and off the zork rChat code. It annoys me that much too. Should have something by tonight, I'll pm it to Vaebris so it can get implemented by the next beta.

edit- Changes made, tested, and sent to Vaebris. Also, removing Module-ChatFrame.lua may cause errors, so I'd advise against that.

I have a suggestion for a future release; would it be possible to have it so one could toggle guild XP and Guild rep in the right Exp bar.

I am not sure that bar was ever used for anything since the inception of Spartanui would be nice to make it do something.

I really don't know squat about coding but may try some testing on this myself.

setup

maybe a dumb question but i really don't understand how to setup my bars like in the screenshots i'm new to this i usually never change interface but this is a nice one so i wanna try it, but can somebody explain/tell me how to get everything like in the screenshot?
