BeneaUI (1920 x 1080)  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 5.4
by: Benea [More]

PvE, healing oriented UI compilation. This is a UI for healers who want a less cluttered screen, and yet still see a lot of information at a glance. There are no amazing graphics or cool effects, but it has worked very well for me for pve raiding.

UI in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cl8jGEQ-b8.

Resolution: 1920 x 1080 (widescreen). You may be able to use it with higher or lower resolution than the above but you'll have to redo font sizes and move certain elements around.
UI Scale : 0.64

Changes/Fixes/Misc Info (5.4)
Partially back playing, a few people asked to have it updated so here it is. Have not raided much so mostly for random leveling, running around alliance side alts

Bugs:
None as of yet!

Instructions:
1. Make a back up of your interface and wtf folders!

2. Place the Interface, Fonts, and WTF folders inside your WoW folder. WTFOld is my old UI 5.0 version (see screenshots). WTF is my UI for 5.1.

3. Go into the WTF folder and change the following to the appropriate information: Accountname, ServerName, CharacterName.

4. At the log in page, click on the options button and change the video resolution setting to your resolution if needed. Change the UI scale to 0.64 too if necessary. Set the video quality to what your computer can handle. Log on into the game.

5. Type /reflux switch BeneaUI (exactly, case sensitive) to activate the profile. If the addon does not change, you'll have to manually to go that particular addon's config and change it to BeneaUI. In particular, you may have to switch the profile to BeneaUI in MSBT manually.

6. After the UI reloads with reflux, you will see a Gnosis window, click BeneaUI and exit out of that window. Go to interface, options, find Gnosis, click on create options, make sure all the boxes are checked. Then go to configuration, then click on Load Castbars.

7. Go to interface, options, addons tab, then Grid2 and under profiles pick the profile that's appropriate for your class.

Priest: BeneaUI
Shaman: Shaman
Druid: Druid
Paladin: Paladin

8. You will have to redo your keybindings and macros or copy your bindings/macro files over to this new WTF folder.

9. Configure Clique for your character (if you use click casting).

All the addons are downloaded from wowinterface.com, wowace.com, and curseforge.com.

No donations are necessary, this is a fun hobby for me. Please remember that I compiled this UI for my use, and you may not like all the elements in it. There might be 1 pixel graphical irregularities, fuzzy border syndrome, or asymmetry that I probably can't see =P

Thank you to all the addon authors that donate their free time so we can further enjoy the game through better UI's. If you are an author and do not prefer to have your addon downloaded through my upload, please pm me and I will immediately remove your work from my file.

Thank you Tapestry/Savantido and Caith (and the old discord site), you were the first UI designers that I learned a lot from.

What is that? Also, on Grid2 how do you get it, too like your old one where everything wasn't one color but instead the color of the class they where? I really enjoyed that one. :-)

1. White line is from kgpanels (/kgpanels config). It's just a little flavor I've stuck in there years ago that I never removed. The line color is scripted to be class colored (it changes depending on what your class it). You can disable kgpanels if you don't like it

2. Grid 2 for the health bars to be class colored:

a. Interface --> addons tab ---> grid 2
b. Under Grid 2 ---> indicators ---> look to right of window ---> health ---> look to right of window ---> colors tab (NOT STATUSES), declick health current and click/check classcolor.

c. Under Grid 2 ---. Indicators ---> right side of window ---> Text up ---> colors tab (NOT STATUSES) ---> declick class colors. Do this step for Text Down too. You have to do this otherwise you can't see anything since it'll be class colored health bars with class colored font.

Hope that helps!

I have these boxes on my character's unitframe. I don't know what are and would like to move them.

I also have the box down next to the chat frame that has Healing Stream Totem in it moved. I'm ont sure what that is so Ic an't move it.

Help?
1. Boxes on unitframe is the addon totemtimers.

2. Box next to chat frame is Eavesdrop.

Your resolution is a little different than mine so things will be off and you'll have to move them manually. You will find both addons under Interfrace --> Addons tab. Just unlock them and move, or disable them if you don't plan on using them

Re: Fiddle

As for unit frame ideas, check out Riot UI's under the graphical compilations. Nice looking

Slightly bored!

So I fiddle I'm going through unit frames iterations now. Trying to see if there's anything I like that I'd stay with. I just copied BittersUI unit frame style somewhat. Not directly, I just switched a few settings from my old stuf frames.

Alternative

So I did some research of my own. When I started, my memory usage was 51.7 (I run more addons than you) and when I used a different data text addon and the plugins, it was 50.7, so its a bit less than SLDT but at least it isn't more.

This is what I used:

The display:
http://www.wowinterface.com/download...-Fortress.html

The plugins:
http://www.wowinterface.com/download...keruClock.html
http://www.wowinterface.com/download...hereabout.html
http://www.wowinterface.com/download...ememfpsms.html
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info11473-zBrokerDurability.html

The fortress plugin is pretty nice and I got it to look very similar to the way you have SLDT. and I am no longer getting bugs about the time.

Oh and I love your addon pack. But you knew that already. I don't use your eavesdrop, instead making my chat window bigger and moving omen over to the right. I have skada all the way on the right at the bottom. Besides Vuhdo, the looks are pretty much identical after that.

The purple's staying though! I was tired of the blue!

I did get into MoP beta but addons aren't enabled yet. Lots of UI fiddling to be had soon...

also, I've noticed on your weakauras config you have your auras set to your character name and your class. They didn't show up until I just clicked class. My main is a priest too and should find those useful.

But I like weakauras. a little more complicated to setup than power auras but I like having all of the auras I set up global so I can copy them around. power auras is a little clunky sometimes.

Though powa's debuffs are much easier to setup, lol

also I think I've figured out why Blizzard keeps spitting out that error. Its SLdatatext. It isn't calculating the time correctly and keeps causing the client to have fits. Maybe you could consider disabling that portion or using a different data text addon.

Fiddling with it. Changed the color to purple-ish as opposed to blue-ish. Too girly? =P Redid the mana bar with my old setup where it's the unitframe border. Looking at Duke's old textures made me nostalgic. The last time I had that was in ulduar. Time flies when having fun!

I redid Grid2 to the new rewrite version (it took forever good grief). But I have priest, pally, shaman profiles done. Druid should be easy to remake, although I don't have access to my druid's account at the moment.

I'm not sure if I'll upload this one yet.
