Hey Zork,

I really like your AddOns and I use several of them. I have one issue though, and that is with the font outline, or rather the shadow offset. I'm using outline monochrome and I'm getting that pixel look but I have that bizarre looking offset. I asked on the forums and got told to look for ShadowOffset but I couldn't find anything, and so I looked and fiddled to avail. I tried adding ChatFontNormal:SetShadowOffset(false) but that didn't work, and honestly I really didn't expect it too.

Would you mind helping me out? Point me in the right direction of changing the offset?

I'm a fool! Really, all it took was some reading. I was using ShadowOffset wrong and what I really had to do was cf:SetShadowOffset(0, 0). Thank you for the great AddOn Zork.

Hi.

I would like to try to move the chat buttons to the bottom of chat frame. Is it even possible? I am able to fiddle with this by myself, I just could use a hint if I should even begin.

thanks a lot

So the issue is with the latest version of Gearscore. Not sure if it's a duplicated variable or what but after disabling Gearscore everything is back to normal for now.

Thanks,

Rightclick the chattab, go to settings and check if "party" is checked.

mark all the channels you want to see for that chatframe.

First thanks for the great mod. Since yesterdays patch I'm no longer seeing party chat. Either when I type in party or when someone else types in party chat.

Thanks for your time.

Chat fading

Is there a way to disable chat fading? I saw someone asked this before in the comments but didn't see an answer to this. I could be blind though its 7am and been up all night.

slight glitch, also feature request

Hey Zork,

I ran into a slight bug. If you are whispering someone (I noticed it on a realid friend, not sure if it does it for normal whispers as well) and you right click their name in the chat window and click the option to put their chat into a separate tab... doing that causes that tab to lose all styling, buttons are back, and the tab actually moves to a different position. Also, I believe the stock UI removes those messages from your normal social window.. but they currently stay there.. with the current addon.

Feature Request: could you add, if it's not a lot of additional code.. /tt, or something equivalent, I think it's the only thing I'm missing from other chat addons. /tt (tell target), select a person, and type /tt and the message goes to them.. nice when people have silly characters, etc in their names.

thanks!
