SanUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 10.0.5.0
by: Pyrates [More]

This is an interface for the raiding druid, integrating all specs (other classes work with a bit more configuration). Find the most recent development version on github.

After your first login

  • You will asked if you want to import the WeakAuras of SanUI. It's save to say yes here. A reload will follow.
  • Configure tukui using the following commands:
    • "/tukui move" (move things around)
    • "/tukui config". To get the intended functionality of SanUI, do the following:
      • Disable auras, unit frames, party frames, raid frames
      • Enable action bars, enable "bottom right bar" and "right bar #1", but disable "bottom left bar" and "right bar #2", edit the settings for "bar #3" to 6 buttons per row and 6 buttons total
Other settings might work or not and look good or not.
    • "/tukui dt" (configure data texts on the side panels)
  • Click the 'a' besides the minimap, a menu will appear. You can switch Modes there. Access to different addon configurations can be configured in SanUI/profiles.lua.

More on Usage
  • SimpleAuraFilter let's you reclaim your buff area by filtering. Simply shift-rightclick any buff you don't want to see anymore. It will be cancelled in this process, but never again show up, even if you have it. Note that there different profiles for Healer, Chicken, Bear and Cat mode, which have to be configured separately (just activate the right mode and go nuts shift-rightclicking). To make some buffs reappear, run "/sanui buffs".
  • About Config\profiles.lua: Supports user-made modes. A mode is a state of the UI consisting of several profiles for different addons or parts of the UI. It's commented well, so read there (and I'll help via forums). Important: If you're not a druid, you probably want to edit this. If you need help, let me know though the forum.

FAQ
  • Q: Nothing works. What could be happening?
  • --> A: You'll need to download and install Tukui yourself.
  • Q: Is this a complete interface for a raider?
  • --> A: Probably not. You might at least want a boss mod, clique/clicked, and bugsack/buggrabber. Maybe a Damage Meter (I use Details).
  • Q: I accidentally mucked with the weakauras from SanUI. How do I get them back?
  • --> A: Type "/sanui addweakauras" ingame to retrigger the import dialog.

Ok, I was able to look into it. Unfortunately, I can't fix all of it in SanUI, but I'll open an issue in tukui.

Here's what you need to do:

Open the file SanUI\Modules\AddonMods\tukui.lua and remove line 2, which reads
Code:
S["UnitFrames"].Enable = function() return end
Then open the file Tukui\Modules\Unitframes\Core.lua, find line 1060 which reads

Code:
oUF:RegisterStyle("Tukui", TukuiUnitFrames.Style)
and add a new line after that, on which you put

Code:
oUF:SetActiveStyle("Tukui")
That will make you have the Tukui Unitframes (of course, only if you enabled them in tukui's config). You can even load them together with oUF_Hank, but I don't recommend that.

(e) I've filed a merge request with Tukui here.

There's nothing in SanUI keeping Tukui's Unitframes from loading, I've just disabled them in tukui's config itself. oUF_Hank does disable the blizzard frames.

So, if you just do not load oUF_Hank, the blizzard frames show up, no surprise. But if you enable tukui's unitframes then, those should show up, and I'd guess that tukui then disables the blizzard frames.

But that's not what you're seeing? It would be nice if you could clarify a bit more, I'll see if I can reproduce it on the weekend.

Ahhh sorry, I misunderstood then, my advice was on how to remove the raid frames.

You should simply be able to not load the addon oUF_Hank and then enable Tukuis player and target frame.

I think you should just be able to remove line 39 of SanUI.toc to get rid of them. You can enable the tukui frames in the config of Tukui itself.

Great you like it

Actionbars are not easily changed in SanUI. If you don't mind changing some of the files yourself, I could tell you what to do to get a solid shot, though. Let me know if that is an option for you.

Ok, I've uploaded a new version. Use this and simply disable loading oUF_Hank, that will give you back the standard frames in the standard position, and you can go from there. You'll loose the related goodies of course, but you can use any unitframe addon you'd prefer

Change from % to value for health

Hello,

First I want to say that I love this UI. However I was hoping there would be a way to change the health bars either to traditional health bars or show me my actual health value instead of just a percentage. Is there any way to do this? Thanks for the great work!

The only reason I'm asking is because the mage tower tank challenge is incredibly difficult without seeing exactly what my health is with the debuff. Just a percentage isn't able to help.

I'm very stupid. I uploaded a new version, please try it (and don't look at the commit, I'm embarrassed ^^). Sorry for that and thanks again for pointing it out.

Hmm, ok, so, it should work if the dialog appears. What do you mean by "aren't actually added", did you call "/wa" and check the list? Is there some kind of error message (check the chat after the reload)? What class are you playing?

(e) Ok, ignore the questions, I'm seeing the problem and am investigating. Thanks for the report!
