SanUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 6.0.3.4
by: Pyrates [More]

This is an interface for the raiding druid, integrating all specs. Works for other classes, though a bit more configuration is neccessary (I'll help). It supposedly only works if your monitors resolution is at least 1280 x 1024 by virtue of Tukui. Suggestions and criticism welcome

See my Author Portal for some mods for SanUI (mostly about the action bars by now).

After your first login

  • The installation procedure of Tukui will start. Just klick "Ok" (or whatever's there for you) 4 times and let it reload your UI.
  • After that, you're asked if you want to import the WeakAuras of SanUI. It's save to say yes here. A reload will follow.
  • Type "/tukui move" to move different aspects of the UI.
  • Configuration of Tukui (particularly the UI-Scale) can be done via typing "/tukui config"
  • Besides the minimap is a box with an 'a'. Click it, a menu will appear. You can switch Modes there. Access to different addon configurations can be configured in SanUI/profiles.lua (dbm, altoholic and the world pvp frame visibility are configured as examples).

More on Usage
  • SimpleAuraFilter let's you reclaim your buff area by filtering. Simply shift-rightclick any buff you don't want to see anymore. It will be cancelled in this process, but never again show up, even if you have it. Note that there different profiles for Healer, Chicken, Bear and Cat mode, which have to be configured separately (just activate the right mode and go nuts shift-rightclicking).
  • Directly below the minimap to the left there's a box displaying the raid buffs you're having/missing. Mouseover for details.
  • On the right hand side of Skada's main window, there's a little cube. Right-click it to reset Skada's data, left-click to toggle Skada's visibility. If you resize, also type "/rl" to reload the UI, after which Skada will be positioned properly again.
  • Click stuff. There are a lot of menus, go find them (special hint: middle and right mouseclick on the minimap).

Configuration

About Config\profiles.lua: Its purpose is to support user-made modes. A mode is a state of the UI consisting of several profiles for different addons or parts of the UI. It's commented well, so read there (and I'll help via forums). Important: If you're not a druid, you probably want to edit this. If you need help, let me know though the forum.

FAQ
  • Q: Is this a complete interface for a raider?
  • --> A: Probably not. You might at least want a boss mod, clique, and bugsack/buggrabber.
  • Q: You've skinned CoolLine and Skada. Will there be problems with AddOnSkins Tukui?
  • --> A: No. I did test, and nothing bad happens. You might want to disable the CoolLine and Skada skins of AddOnSkins Tukui, otherwise those will be skinned twice. That's not a real problem though, so if you like it that way, keep them enabled.

Hacked together with snippets of code from Tukui. Used the tukui's color role texture. Works!
Great! Funky enough, I took the code from tukui, too, but didn't realize I'd have to call settexture.

@shaderx: I'm out of wisdom... any idea for easy testing? I'd work it out then

If you want nameplate buffs, i suggest grabbing this addon. It works on top of the default ones which tukui/sanui is build upon so it works beautifully.

The roles thing... i don't know

  2. LFDRole:Size(14)
  3. LFDRole:Point("BOTTOM")
  4.
  5. self.LFDRole = LFDRole
Doesn't works next !

Darn, you're right, I've removed the MoP raid debuffs and added the WoD ones, but haven't made a new release. Put it after line 745, but before 747.

Open SanUI\Modules\Unitframes\raidframes.lua, and add after line 574 (but _before_ line 576):

Lua Code:
  1. local LFDRole = Health:CreateTexture(nil, "OVERLAY")
  2.     LFDRole:Point("BOTTOM")
  3.     LFDRole:SetTexture(0, 0, 0, 0)
  4.     LFDRole.Override = S["UnitFrames"].SetGridGroupRole
  5.     self.LFDRole = LFDRole

That should give you your role icon. Adjust the position (or tell me where you want it).

Tukui sort whatever can't work, because the raidframes are not from tukui but SanUI. Find line 612 in the file mentioned above and replace "GROUP" by "ROLE" (keep the quotation marks). That would sort the raidframes by role.
Is your line 574 the released version? It's right in the middle of a bunch of debuff ids.

574 is this
Code:
[SpellName(123812)] = 1,	-- Pheromones of Zeal
		LINE574
		-- Blade Lord Ta'yak

Thanks for pointing that out. Will be fixed next version. In the meantime, you could open oUF_Hank_v3\hank_v3.lua, find line 1330 which reads

Lua Code:
  1. talentUpdate(self,'PLAYER_TALENT_UPDATE','player')

and replace it by

Lua Code:
  1. spellUpdate(self,'PLAYER_TALENT_UPDATE','player')
