SanUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 6.0.3.2
by: Pyrates [More]

This is an interface for the raiding druid, integrating all specs. Works for other classes, though a bit more configuration is neccessary (I'll help). It supposedly only works if your monitors resolution is at least 1280 x 1024 by virtue of Tukui. Suggestions and criticism welcome

See my Author Portal for some mods for SanUI (mostly about the action bars by now).

After your first login

  • The installation procedure of Tukui will start. Just klick "Ok" (or whatever's there for you) 4 times and let it reload your UI.
  • After that, you're asked if you want to import the WeakAuras of SanUI. It's save to say yes here. A reload will follow.
  • Type "/tukui move" to move different aspects of the UI.
  • Configuration of Tukui (particularly the UI-Scale) can be done via typing "/tukui config"
  • Besides the minimap is a box with an 'a'. Click it, a menu will appear. You can switch Modes there. Access to different addon configurations can be configured in SanUI/profiles.lua (dbm, altoholic and the world pvp frame visibility are configured as examples).

More on Usage
  • SimpleAuraFilter let's you reclaim your buff area by filtering. Simply shift-rightclick any buff you don't want to see anymore. It will be cancelled in this process, but never again show up, even if you have it. Note that there different profiles for Healer, Chicken, Bear and Cat mode, which have to be configured separately (just activate the right mode and go nuts shift-rightclicking).
  • Directly below the minimap to the left there's a box displaying the raid buffs you're having/missing. Mouseover for details.
  • On the right hand side of Skada's main window, there's a little cube. Right-click it to reset Skada's data, left-click to toggle Skada's visibility. If you resize, also type "/rl" to reload the UI, after which Skada will be positioned properly again.
  • Click stuff. There are a lot of menus, go find them (special hint: middle and right mouseclick on the minimap).

Configuration

About Config\profiles.lua: Its purpose is to support user-made modes. A mode is a state of the UI consisting of several profiles for different addons or parts of the UI. It's commented well, so read there (and I'll help via forums). Important: If you're not a druid, you probably want to edit this. If you need help, let me know though the forum.

FAQ
  • Q: Is this a complete interface for a raider?
  • --> A: Probably not. You might at least want a boss mod, clique, and bugsack/buggrabber.
  • Q: You've skinned CoolLine and Skada. Will there be problems with AddOnSkins Tukui?
  • --> A: No. I did test, and nothing bad happens. You might want to disable the CoolLine and Skada skins of AddOnSkins Tukui, otherwise those will be skinned twice. That's not a real problem though, so if you like it that way, keep them enabled.

But one other thing: Go check out original tukui, does that actionbar functionality suffice for you? It wouldn't be to hard to restore that in SanUI.

I won't be able to do that collapsing thing though, sorry.
From what I can tell is that the original Tukui doesn't offer functionality in aligning bars with rows and columns. It just lets you adjust button size and spacing, but all the other things it offers is pretty nice, but i mean i'm to great at this stuff and i dont tell any real difference.
Also earlier i took out the OuF_GCD folder to stop the LUA errors on my shaman but it let me have a collapsible bar, but no Cooline bar though unfortunately.

Could you give me a rough drawing or something? E.g I have no idea where to put coolline when making such a block, etc.ppp.

Was playing with shaman. Sorry forgot to mention that.
Please open oUF_GCD\oUF_GCD.lua and locate line 29 which reads

Lua Code:
  1. 331,            -- Healing Wave (Shaman)

Replace it by

Lua Code:
  1. 403,            -- Healing Wave (Shaman)

and try again. Sorry for the inconvenience

I'm sorry to say, that's a HUGE request and I don't have the time to achieve something like that. I could make a special layout and post it on my author portal, how does that sound? Just let me know, you say 3x4... you only want 12 buttons visible? Let me know exactly what you need and I'll see if I can do something.

Could you please make it so the bars are adjustable by columns and rows? I use a naga mouse and i usually like to set my bars up by 3x4 so it matches the buttons my my mouse. Other than that I LOVE the UI.

Replace the _whole_ content of SanUI\Modules\Modeswitch\eclipsebar.lua with the following:

Lua Code:
  1. local S = unpack(SanUI)
  2.
  3. S.switchEclipsebar = function(profile)
  4.     if profile == "SanChicken" then
  5.         oUF_player:EnableElement("EclipseBar")
  6.         oUF_player.EclipseBar:Show()
  7.     elseif oUF_player.EclipseBar then
  8.         oUF_player.EclipseBar:Hide()
  9.         oUF_player:DisableElement("EclipseBar")
  10.     end
  11.
  12. end

I did exactly that thingie as you described.
Still its the problem that upon entering combat the eclipse bar pops up again.
Even so everytime i shapeshift into moonkin.
i am really happy that you look at this specific problem and would like to thank you in advance

Ok, I can't test right now, but please try the following. Replace the _whole_ content of SanUI\Modules\Modeswitch\eclipsebar.lua with the following:

EDIT: Ok, I could test, doesn't work. I'll get back to you.

Keep the change you've made before. Let me know how it works out
