Known Issues/Bugs
I cannot possibly know all of the bugs that might crop up, and will rely on others reporting bugs to me. For a bug to be listed, I have to be able to confirm it, or receive such evidence that even though I can't reproduce it, I believe it exists.

Current Features
These are the current features in Power Bars. If one of these features isn't working, then there's possibly a bug you need to report. Please see "Known Issues" before reporting a bug however.

* Essentially, I don't care if you use parts of this AddOn or all of it. It's free to use and redistribute, and the images are part of that deal. All I want in return is a bit of credit for the work that I do, just as I credit others for the help that they give. A simple link back to this page (if applicable) and a reference to the user Chamenas (or Lulia) is all that is needed. As long as you aren't claiming the work is your own, I'm not terribly bothered.

FAQ

What Is Power Bars?
Power Bars will be a Power & Resource display AddOn. Its purpose will be to offer customizable displays for all Power and Resource systems in the game, this includes (but isn't necessarily limited to): Mana, Rage, Energy, Runic Power, Focus, Eclipse, Holy Power, and Soul Shards.

The frames for these resource systems will be movable, will be offered with various display options "right out of the box" and offer the user the ability to customize them with their own personal images and colors if they so wish.

Why Power Bars?
I'm aware that there are already similar AddOns out there. So you might be asking yourself "Why re-invent the wheel"?. Well, for starters, this is my VERY FIRST AddOn. I've NEVER made one before. Now, I have some experience scripting and coding, but no experience with the WoW API and my Scripting/Coding skills are novice at best. Thus, I have a LOT to learn.

I wanted an AddOn that I could use to personally customize for Holy Power and Soul Shards, since I didn't see any single AddOn out there that did it in such a way as I would have liked. Power Auras did pretty well, but I wanted something a bit better, and something a bit easier to adjust.

However, like most things in life, I really like to share what I make with the world. I didn't want to make a small AddOn that only I would use. I figured: if I'm going to learn how to make AddOns, then I'm going to make AddOns I can share with the community. Thus the origins of Power Bars. The intention of this AddOn is to be an intuitive and easy Power & Resource display management system, offering the user total control and power over how they see their resource and power bars.

Definitely going to need some more information and possibly screenshots as the Eclipse bar is working just fine on my end. I'll try a fresh install though and see what happens.
Hmm, this is confirmed, I'm working on it.

Alright, so I replicated this.

WoWInterface recommends renaming your file with the version number. I think they meant the zip file, but, for some silly reason, I also renamed my .toc files as well.

The new v0.2 is named properly, or, to avoid doing another download, you can simply rename the .toc file PowerBars.toc and that should work.

That's next on the list. But it probably won't have any "pretty" options for a little while.

It's Pitbull, but please don't mind the appearance of my AddOns! That's not how my UI usually looks, I just haven't bothered to finish it up yet. Been focused on making this AddOn instead!
