ColorPickerPlus hooks into the standard Color Picker to provide

  • text entry for colors (RGB and hex values),
  • text entry for the alpha value (transparency/opacity),
  • copy and paste of a single color,
  • a movable frame,
  • a color swatch for the color that you will be replacing
  • a color swatch for the copied color that may be pasted.

With these enhancements, you can precisely describe a color and coordinate colors within and between add-ons.

A shift-click on the Copy button will paste the decimal RGB values for the chosen color into the chat window. This was added as a utility for add-on developers.

This Mod seems to have completely messed up my colours, all colours i pick are very very dull and completely not the colour i picked, now have to go photoshop find the rbg and edit the lua

Ok on further inspection, it appears this is my bad. The text boxes aren't big enough for my font i guess to display 3 figures, so it only displays 2, this is where i was going wrong.

Great AddOn. I've been using EnhancedColorPicker for the longest time, and this was a nice upgrade, the hex input is really nice especially.

This addon works to extend the basic color picker within the game, so any time you bring up the WoW color dialog it will have the additions this offers. I'm not quite sure what you're asking for. Could you explain a bit more?

ColorPickerPlus supports alpha channel input. See the second photo of the dialog box. It depends totally on the calling addon whether to allow adjustment of transparency.

No bugs reported now

There have been over 300 downloads now, and no one has reported any problems or requested any enhancements for ColorPickerPlus. Enjoy.

This looks like the same bug in R11 that was reported by Limb0, and should have been fixed in R12. I run with ArkInventory, and haven't seen any errors, so please let me know if you have any problems with R12. Thanks, Moosetrax.

"Attempting to rehook on already active hook OnShow"

Thanks for finding this one. Somehow I never tested bringing up the dialog after zoning elsewhere -- I was calling my initialization code more than once when that happened. An easy fix, and I'm checking it in now.
