ShinyStats was inspired by a mod called StatStain, made by Nymbia in 2007.
ShinyStats aims to color the various stats of an items tooltip aswell as stripping out redundant words, in order to improve readability.

Stripping out redundant words? That means it currently removes the "and" in sentences such as "+25 Agility and +15 Crit Rating".
This feature can be disabled in the options.

Colors, Profiles and various under settings can be configured by typing "/shiny config" or through blizzards addon settings interface.

ShinyStats currently has support for the enUS, deDE, koKR (under development) locales. If you wish to help me localize it, visit the WowAce page.

ShinyStats was based on ReforgedTooltip by emelio.

This mod was written by someone with no previous knowledge of addon making, with a single user in mind.
However seeing I wish to help others who look for such an addon, Im making it public and will try to improve it accordingly.

This issue is solved in the latest beta at WowAce.

I will upload it here in awhile after its been tested a bit more.

Also, is it the buff tooltip or the tooltip of the buff food in your bags?

I experienced this issue my self with various patterns/cooking recipes.
Its a very odd issue as it seems the tooltip function is hooked twice and run twice. Failing the second time.

I will look into it but it has a low priority. If its a complex issue I will most likely just disable checking of recipies/patterns for now.

Hetzaklek A Defias Bandit Forum posts: 2 File comments: 9 Uploads: 0	PERFECT! tysm Also I should report - although I have not yet installed the latest version, I was noticing that on buff food, the colorer (word?) tries to color stamina but instead the code of the color goes in front of it so it shows like this (not exact) \|cbff56790stamina where I believe \|cbff567 (or w/e) is the code for the color and then 90 stamina is the buff.

This beta contains a configuration dialog for changing colors using a color picker, and some other minor changes! Let me know how it works if you decide to try it.

Either by adding the variables to the saved variables file, overriding the default values in the ShinyStats.lua file, or changing the default values altogether. Im hoping to implement a simple UI and/or slash commands to set the various colors soon, though. Until then hang in there!

EDIT: Works perfectly, no errors, and as far as it seems, no double info in the tooltips like people with StatStain were having (at least for me).
