aids in finding archaeology nodes by showing the distance from each survey marker

to use, just cast survey like normal and then hit 1 2 or 3 depending on what color it is
the addon window will show the distance from each marker and tell you if your too close/far
try to get the new colored bars centered on the window and youll land near the node

i'll have more updates out shortly as i improve the interface

0.04: added some graphics

0.03: cleaned up the spam in the chat pane

0.02: made the window resizeable

This has caused for a few problems, such as not being able to track your progress when thrown into combat. On rarer, but far more damaging, occasions this has led to a glitch that causes the addon to keep me from using the abilities tied to those buttons and producing the text "something went wrong?" every time one of those three buttons are pressed. Making these selections stand alone from the 1-2-3 keys would be an incredibly helpful change. Last edited by VerasGunn : 12-18-10 at 12:04 AM.

dr_AllCOM3: well, it helps a little by saying that you still are too close

the first number is the distance from the survey marker, the 2nd number is the color
i'm working on a graphical version now that will be simpler to read

version 0.02 now has a resize griper in the corner of the window

as for configuring, there is none right now
those 2 boxes are just a random background image i choose
when you cast survey, it will give text in there saying when to stop walking
