Okay so couple things with 4.1 messed up this addon. Those are the main menu (hitting esc to bring up) looks messed up, and the bag button will open but not close all bags.

I've fixed the main menu though by going into the lua and deleting the following items:

self:SetupGameMenuHelpButton();

and:

function BlizzartUI:SetupGameMenuHelpButton() local button = CreateFrame("Button", "GameMenuButtonHelp", GameMenuFrame, "GameMenuButtonTemplate"); button:SetText(HELP_BUTTON); button:SetPoint("TOP", GameMenuButtonQuit, "BOTTOM", 0, -1); button:SetScript("OnClick", HelpMicroButton:GetScript("OnClick")); GameMenuButtonContinue:SetPoint("TOP", GameMenuButtonHelp, "BOTTOM", 0, -1); end

Deleting those fixed the menu window. Now the only thing dogging me is the bag button. It will open all bags on click, but clicking again will not close them. I think it needs a force close function.

Code Failure

Hi,

First i will say: Thanks for this fantastic work. I love it.

I have now 8 chars width this Interface, but for only 6 chars works
perfekt, on 2 chars the MultiActionbar not will change the Bars width
Shift + UP/DOWN.

I changed in the BlizzartUI.lua the row: 235
from:
local condition = "[bonusbar:1] 7; [bonusbar:2] 8; [bonusbar:3] 9; [bonusbar:4] 10; [bonusbar:5] 11; [bar:1] 1; [bar:2] 2; [bar:3] 3; [bar:4] 4; [bar:5] 5; [bar:6] 6;"

to:

local condition = " [bar:1] 1; [bar:2] 2; [bar:3] 3; [bar:4] 4; [bar:5] 5; [bar:6] 6; [bonusbar:1] 7; [bonusbar:2] 8; [bonusbar:3] 9; [bonusbar:4] 10; [bonusbar:5] 11;"

Now work's from all my chars perfectly

best regard
paul

I know it took me a long time, I'm still not done yet. I noticed you implemented the theme anyway. I'll still finish this up, I just still don't have a lot of extra time to put into it, so it's taking a while. I'm also working on some new texture. Having these files really helped me understand the aesthetics that go into designing a Blizz-like theme, so I'm also working on my own theme. I am not yet sure what I'm gonna call the UI when it's done, but of course, I can't code it, or make it function on my own, so I'm gonna have to find someone to code. If you'd like to do it, let me know after you see the artwork, I'll show you when it's done in a forum post here.

I don't really play WoW anymore, I just like fiddling with UI's ha ha! I'm waiting on Guild Wars 2 fortunately, I've played WoW for 6 years, just bores me now. But I love the UI customization, can't leave it alone because of that.

You will need a program called XnView to view them. Im not sure about the format but when i tried something similar i had to convert them to blp.

Sounds great, i think the best approach would be to convert the images to blp and edit them from the inner border, that way they would be the same size and i could add them without changing the code. I appreciate that you are willing to help with this. I think that this addon got a lot of potential if you decide to help and do a decent job.
Oh okay. Yeah, I like this whole approach to the UI customization. I created my own Blizzlike textures before, I still have one laying around, I put a mini-map design on top of it, I was fiddling with it, added some chains to it, and thought it would be a cool dock for the micro menu on a UI design, but just never completed it yet. It's almost done though.

As for the other Horde texture... which one is correct if that one isn't it? Also, can I edit BLP files in Adobe Photoshop? I've never worked with those before. If not, then I can work with it the way it is, then save it as a BLP afterwards, if the option is there. But I use Adobe Photoshop, I won't use anything else because it's all I know how to use now.

Re: Question:

Why does it have all that stretching along the edges of the graphics? Like it's flying through space at hyper light speed or something? It would be annoying to try to cut those out because well... it takes forever and I don't have enough patience, heh...

I had an idea for the graphic, but I don't know if it's something you would want for this UI or not. I just think I could make it more suitable for Undead, if I can get this image with just the action bar art, and not that stretch thing I'm talking about, and not that thick black bordering around it. [/b]

Well, unfortunately I bought a new Widescreen LED HD monitor, so I don't know if it's fixed on my old resolution or not but I see no problems here. It seems to be where it's intended to be.

As for the actionbar skin (the other horde one)... I haven't figured out yet what to do with it, so I haven't gotten started. All I can think it would need is a color change, or color removal, to suite a class, or different design aspect instead of Horde. But it would be so easy, it's like I did no work at all... so that's why I haven't started yet.

I just don't know what to do with it. It is indeed much better than the other horde texture though, that's for sure, I'd rather use it. But I don't think I could swap it's image in... I don't think it would work. I don't know anything about LUA.

Nice looking UI - just wondered how I would skin buttons with something like ButtonFacade, how does that play with this UI? Then it could truly be a beaut.

update: Duh, just looked into BlizzFacade which works ok with this.
