    removes the annoying stack sound from the "Dark Intent Buff" !!!!

    the zip-file contains 5 empty ogg files:

    SPELL_WL_FocusShadow_Impact_01.ogg
    SPELL_WL_FocusShadow_Impact_02.ogg
    SPELL_WL_FocusShadow_Impact_03.ogg
    SPELL_WL_FocusShadow_Impact_04.ogg
    SPELL_WL_FocusShadow_Impact_05.ogg

    copy/extract the files to

    \Data\Sound\Spells\

    of your world of warcraft folder. (perhaps you must create the folders)

    wav was created by microsoft for windows. The original files in the wow mpg files are *.ogg.

    my files are not invalid. they are very short sound files modified to 0 decibel.

    hi, goblintor,
    I see many "addons" here using "invalid" or empty sound files with name same to those in *.mpq to block those unwanted annoying sounds.
    Then I have a question.
    Why not we simply put some empty wav files into the data/sound folder, but using bigger size *.ogg files instead?
    Is it due to the difference between macos and windows?
    I am using windows7 and using empty wav files as replacement. However I find it useful.
