This addon is for Paladins only.

In 4.0.1, Blizzard added the ability for action bar buttons to "glow" when certain events occurred.

Infusion of Light will glow the abilities Word of Glory (all specs), Light of Dawn (holy) and Shield of the Righteous (protection) when the player gains 3 holy power. It also works when these abilities are macro'd.

I've been it myself for some time, and it's quite lean. It certainly works in a raid environment with no visible adverse effects.

It's been tested with the default WoW UI and with Bartender. I can't say if it'll work with other action bar mods.

(Note: this addon is named Infusion of Light because its original functionality was to glow Divine Light and Holy Light when the player gained the Infusion of Light buff. That feature was eventually built into the default UI.)

The purpose of this addon has changed, since its original functionality was built into the default UI.

It now glows Word of Glory, Light of Dawn and Shield of the Righteous when the paladin has 3 holy power.

Templar's Verdict was not affected as it glows from other procs anyway.

Also, a TOC bump for patch 4.3.3.

This feature is now included in the latest version of the addon

Indeed the name is a bit unimaginative, but it was 4am and "let's use the proc name for the addon name" just clicked :P @JediJesseS and Ketho: Thanks. The addon is still in the works, and knowing that people are looking forward to using it is a real boost. You can expect a preliminary release soon-ish - most of the code is ready, I just need to implement more filters - currently, you can glow buttons when: Someone's health or mana/rage/etc is a certain value (eg. < 25% health, glow an "execute" ability like Drain Soul). Someone is missing/has a buff (which is what this IoL addon does) Your holy power/soul shards/etc are a certain value (I currently use it to glow Light of Dawn/Shield of the Righteous at 3 holy power, and it works fine in 5-man/raid situations). Upcoming filters include checking for buff stacks (useful for Enhancement Shaman and Maelstrom Weapon) and the like. Last edited by epoch : 03-11-11 at 07:18 AM.
