    Description:

    Originally just put in DBM-Core as a bit of humor during a test phase. The sounds became quite popular and when removed from last DBM release got numerous requests from users wanting them back. Since archaeology sounds don't really belong in the base mod, I decided to bring that feature back in plugin form!.

    Now you can enjoy all your old god whispers in your dig sites. What this mod does is play a random C'thun and Yogg Saron whispers from the game files any time you loot a keystone. Archaeology is a profession meddling with the ancient artifacts of azeroth yet no one is paying any mind ot you. This plugin gives archaeology a bit of RP when the old gods whisper you as if they are noticing you meddling with things you should not be, giving archaeology that feel it should have had to begin with.

    Requirements:

    Requires Deadly Boss Mods

    TODO:

    Get locals (especially for loot message) so everyone can enjoy plugin. Right now I can only guarentee full functionality on English local clients.

    Thanks for putting this out. My wife dug the sounds(she's an archaeology fan) and was hoping this would be split off after it was removed from DBM.

    NP, i didn't realize so many liked sounds til i saw the many comments about their removal. They were just a joke i played on people for a little while, most had no idea what mod was even doing it or even some thought blizz actually did it. Until wowinsider did a post about it explaining what i did. heh.

    now that it's modular i can expand on it in future. Maybe add sounds for solving rares and not just keystone loots. Add in some options to perhaps toggle Cthun and Yogg.

    Also right now it just forces master channel, it doesn't honor dbms setting for this (dbm uses mastery by default though but if some turn it off, they cannot for this yet). probably toy with a list of things to do sometime near this weekend.

    if any of you have a yogg saron puzzle box, i'd really appreciate if you could /combatlog

    then use it

    then /combatlog to turn it back off, and post the result of the box usage from the log here. I'd like to give this item a sound.

    I just tried to log the results of using the Puzzle Box, but it doesn't generate any combatlog events.
    Saving the results into a log caught only a nearby npc and myself gaining and losing buffs.
