EoUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 3.3

EoUI
1600X900wide
UPDATED for patch 5.2!
NOTES for 5.2: More screenshots will be added soon.

After playing WoW for 7+ years and being addicted to UI compilations, I finally broke down and made my own from scratch. This is simply many addons that I've used over the years and all I did was tie them in together to make a nice clean layout mainly for a raiding healer setup. Don't fret though! If you are not a healer or a raider, this setup works fine for anyone.

Setup:
1. Back up your WTF, Interface and Font folders and then delete them from WoW directory folder.
2. Unzip EoUI in your WoW directory.
3. Rename these folders in the WTF folder -
* ACCOUNT NAME replace with your account name (example: Katie86)
* SERVER NAME replace with the server you are playing (example: Sargeras)
* Priest, Paladin, ect, choose your healer class and rename it to your characters name corresponding to that class (example: Fiction is my priest) If you dont have one of the healer classes, scroll down to Non-Healer Notes.
FOR THIS COMPILATION TO WORK YOU MUST DO THIS STEP:
Log into your account, log onto your character, once in-game hit the enter button and type /reflux switch eoui - remember, it's case sensitive.
If any addon doesn't seem to load, type the appropriate /command for the addon and check for profile "eolianui", "eoui", "eolian" or the class type you are playing.

IMPORTANT: I no longer include Clique or Weak Auras with my compilation as it has caused a lot of confusion in the past. I still HIGHLY recommend both of these addons for any healer. I feel they are must-haves for anyone with healing abilities.

Healers Notes: Your grid should be set up correctly per class if you followed my directions. But just to make sure, once your screen has reloaded after doing the last step above, type /grid, go to the Profiles tab and make sure your respective class is being used as the profile name. Example: Shamans, make sure your profile is set to "shaman", ect.

Non-Healers Notes: if you are not a healer and just like this compilation - choose the Priest folder, and rename it to your characters name. I have added in a profile in Grid just for you guys as well. Its smaller and uses less information. Go into the Grid profiles and choose "non-healer". Also, feel free to move the Grid frame itself where ever you would like. It doesnt have to stay in the middle left of the screen.

High-Res Notes: You'll have to adjust the chat boxes by right clicking on them. If you would like to resize the panels, type /kgpanels config, and open the waterfall menu titled Active Panels. The panel names are literal, so it shouldnt be hard for anyone to find the one you want to adjust. You can unlock and move any of them them by highlighting the desired panel name in the waterfall menu and then unchecking the "lock" option to the right.
You'll also have to move the map which will be easy, type /chinchilla and uncheck the "lock" box and move it to where ever youd like it.
Lastly you will move the Skada windows the same way using the slash command /skada config.
REMINDER: make sure you "lock" everything again once you are done!

Main Addon List and /Commands:
MiirgUI - skin for wow panels
Bagnon - personal and bank inventory
Bartender4 - action bar addon, /bar
Chatter - chat mod, /chatter
Chinchilla - map, /chinchilla
Grid(manabars, cornericons, sideicons) - /grid
KG Panels - support addon for graphic layout, /kgpanels config
Masque - action button skinner, /masque
Mik's Scrolling Combat Text - /msbt
Reflux - makes profile switching easy, /reflux
Raven - buff, debuffs, hots/dots and cooldown timers, /raven
Skada - damage, healing and threat meter, /skada config
Stuf - unit frames, /stuf
Tip Tac - tooltip addon, /tip

Credits: Thank you to all the authors who made the above listed addons. You guys are the real workhorses of websites like WoWInterface.

Now that you mention it I'm pretty sure it has something to do with MiirGUI, because one time before the windows had the gray/black transparency and frames, but now they look default. But I don't think I've done anything with the MiirGUI in any way.

Also, please ignore it's current setup, i'm STILL trying to get this UI the way I want it lol. And I keep messing up the hotbuttons, buffs and debuffs and well...just freaking everything lol.

Thats what I always did when I downloaded someone elses compilation. Thats the best way to make the UI yours. Thanks for the kudos

As for your new problem... that is very odd... I have not heard of nor seen anything like that. Could you take a screenshot for me? My first two guesses are something weird with Power Auras, or maybe the skinning package from Miirgui. But I really cant move forward with a diagnosis until I see what you are looking at.

Totally no problem. I guess it's kind of a good thing that I've had these issues. It actually allows me to both gain a level of understanding and comfort in configuring the addons that I have and also to truly appreciate the level of time and dedication put into making a UI compilation like this. Tons of thanks.

And to throw dirt on that, lol, I seem to be having another issue. It's not a huge deal but whenever I open certain windows, like my Pet/Mount windows, profession/tradeskill window and my mailbox there's a giant green frame/border around the icons or the whole window. It's kind of weird, but like I said not that huge of a deal, but any ideas on what it is and how to get rid of it?

I apologize for the problems you all have had. It should work right out of the box(with adjustments for larger resolutions). I will look into this and re-post an update if necessary.
I have been having my own issues with reflux the last couple of months, I wonder if this isnt the base issue.

Also, since I did not develop any of these addons Im not sure how copyright works for donations. All I did was tie them together. I will also look into this, but for the time being, thank you for offering to donate to me.

EDIT - updated and fixed. I found a .lua fix for reflux and it "should" be working properly now out of the box. If its not please pm me and let me know. I tested it and it worked for me. Thanks everyone again for being patient with me as I work through all the kinks with MoP.

@laggyOne

No, I installed all the addons from the .rar normally. But once logged into the game I had to open each addon individually, make sure that the profile was on the "fictionalui" one and then had to tweak it from there. So I had to adjust, move, configure and edit everything from kgpanels to Bartender to chatter to Chinchilla.

So for instance with KG panels I had to type /kgpanels config > profiles > fictionalui > adjust the size and the position of each panel/frame. And then rinse and repeat with Bartender, Chatter, chinchilla, SLDT and Skada.

Also, to get rid of those stupid Murlocs you have to open up Bartender and disable the "Blizzard Art Bar". It was the first thing I did. Last night I was up for like 3 hours trying to get the UI fixed and those Murlocs just induced a rage the likes of which the Hulk would blush at lol.

Same issue here Raiten.

Are you saying you essentially installed each addon from the pack manually? In other words you recreated the UI pack from scratch?

I saw that the command to change the UI has changed but it still didn't produce the proper layout.

Final edit, I was recently turned onto this UI by a friend since I came back to wow. Is there a way to donate to the author? I may just be missing the link.

Thanks

I was looking for a UI compilation that was fully compatible with 5.0.4 and stumbled upon this gem. It looks great. I only wish it would look as good in your screenshot as it does in mine.

I've deleted, literally every folder I could think of regarding addons, and

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y43...912_022627.jpg

Is what I get. I've deleted all of my WTF folders, my Fonts and interface and did a full fresh install of yours. And after doing the reflux switch, that stupid totally jacked up nightmare mess of a UI is all i'm greeted with. Any ideas what the heck i'm doing wrong?? I'm at my wits end with all these stupid addons not cooperating like they should be.

*EDIT*

Well, I was able to get it all fixed. I had to manually change every single addon the pack contained...literally. The reflux switch didn't seem to do anything at all. I had to force the switch for all addons and even had to manually adjust/configure others (kgpanels) to match as best as I could to the original. Although it's still not as "pretty" as I'd like to have it lol.

I'd like to know why I get this, been using this UI for a long time. First time I get this.

Edit: It seems that by using this updated UI package it changed my EU client to NA one somehow... so now I can't logg in. ( You can tell by the age suggestion at the bottom corner it should read pegi. )

Edit2: If some1 else encounters this problem, open the config file in WTF folder and change the 2 lines including "enUS" to "enGB" and it will change in to pegi once more and you can logg in to the correct region.

I will update this for 5.0 but it wont be updated this week : Guild Wars 2 + first week of college semester + labor day weekend + updating addons = pulling my hair out.

It will get done and as soon as possible, you have my word. Estimated mid to late next week for an official FictionalUI update with a slightly new look as well. For now you are better off going through and updating the addons yourself.

Note: Power Auras is broken and will be fixed tomorrow. However no aura strings will be transferred over. In other words, I will have to remake ALL the auras that are part of this package, or you will if you use your own.
Stuf Unit frames does not appear to be working at all and I have no idea when that author will update it. Although there has been a fan fix and you can get it here - http://www.wowinterface.com/download....html#comments

Oh ty for responding. I figured out it was Clique like 5 minutes after I posted that comment >.< I do however have another question. I see that on the player unit frames you have the "timer bars".

For some reason they aren't showing for me. The bars show on the target unit frames but for some reason I can't figure out why they won't show on my unit frame. I thought it might have been raven but I don't see an option for it. I also went into Stuf, and I couldn't see the option for it either so if you, or anyone would let me know how to fix it. I would appreciate it :3

And once I again. I'm loving this UI! Hands down my favorite UI!

Edit: I'm using the UI for dps only. I don't know if that affects anything. Just I thought I would let you know.

Never mind, I figured it out >.<
