Clean Icons - Thin  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: Shadowlands 9.0.2 (Build 36639)
by: suicidalkatt [More]

I got tired of seeing old pre-BC styled icons mixed with BC and WoTLK icons so I decided to batch process all the icons into a clean format.

...have been altered.

This may seem like a large filesize, however this does not use any cpu usage or additional memory usage than simply running without it.

This also extends to any addon that uses the default game icons such as Power Auras Classic.

They should be working and a way to double check that they are is to simply open up your professions tab and see if the icon's there are changed. Most addons try to crop out the edges ( as I mentioned a few comments down here ). Which may be the case.

AI-Art uses the same method as this so if they're working, these Icons should as well.

The MiirGui also has its own Icons folder so make sure you're not using those icons if you're wanting to use the Clean Icons - Thin ones.

Perfect that did the trick thanks a lot!

EDIT: I know I am being super picky here, while that lua change did fix it where Dominos is now using the clean icon skin, it insists on putting a shadowed secondary border around each button for some reason. And it is only Dominos that is doing this, but I cannot find where in the lua to change it (I'm ameteur at best)

Here's a pic to describe what I mean. As you can see Totem Timers is working just fine with it (and looking B-E-A-UTIFUL), while Domino's isn't

Dominos crops the icons of the actionbars and uses its own 'skin'.

It technically already uses the icons in the package, it just reskins them to look differently.

To see what I mean, change line 172 in actionBar.lua in the Dominos addon:

Previous:
Code:
_G[self:GetName() .. 'Icon']:SetTexCoord(0.06, 0.94, 0.06, 0.94)
Changed:
Code:
_G[self:GetName() .. 'Icon']:SetTexCoord(0,1,0,1)
Dominos is compatible with ButtonFacade, and there are some skins that simply use the default icons with no cropping.

Could you show me a screenshot?

That seems very very odd. Perhaps your download got corrupt somehow, or your extraction program had issues.

mod to go with this that shows item quality

Hello, firstly, great series of icon packs, this one being my fav... Tho something is really bugging me and this most likely isnt the falut of the icon pack, but neither fizzle nor oglow give any kind of iconic quality glow on the character sheet...

I have tested to the best of my knowledge to try to narrow down what could be causing the problem and id say it is probably a case of those 2 being out of date... my question really is aimed at people in general who use some sort of mod to show item quality glow on their charactersheet... are there any alternatives to fizzle or oglow atm that i just havent bumped into?

Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this but im starting to think im going mad, dearly love my glow on the character sheet and miss it so much :/

I've saved it to

C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Interface\ICONS - and have changed the ICONS to icons to see if that had an effect, but to no avail.
Try looking for the directory
C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft

If you're using Windows 7.

Yes, this happened to me once before. Had a ICONS folder than a icons folder inside of it.

This would be the perfect addition to my UI as one of the two things that are bugging me atm is when fortexorcist's CD splash appears it uses the normal wow icons but they don't match my UI whereas these would.

Any help appreciated.

Great work btw.
