MiirGui texture Pack replaces the default World of Warcraft textures, enhancing the overall look and feel.

It covers nearly every panel in the game. There is also an optional Icon Pack.

Includes skins for: Classic Quest Log and Clique.

When updating from an older version delete all files created by the MiirGui Texture Pack in your Interface folder. Then proceed to paste the content of the zip file into the folder.

MiirGui Texture Pack will add 2 addons to your addon-list, one for cosmetic fixes which is highly recommended and one for frame icons.



If you find any bugs or missmatching graphics, please use the comment section of this page.

Please note that it is very possible that using multiple skinning addons at a time like miirgui and aurora can and will cause many errors.

You will not get author-support on any other site as it is only hosted here on wowinterface.

Please add an addon-list of the addons you use or the name of the addon causing a conflict and paste the error message thrown by wow. The more information the better.



The Store looks pretty rubbish but as long as blizzard restricts addon access to it theres not much I can do.

The garrison is not skinned yet as i have no beta access. It will be skinned in the a following version if its necessary.

There is an lua error thrown as long as you do not have 3 pets in your active pet loadout. Will be fixed.

So here it is, the big update for patch 5.0.4 already downloadable as of today, so you are prepared for Tuesday/Wednesday.

This won't work on 4.x installs.

I recommend to delete all previous files in your interface folder and delete the old miirgui addon folder also.

There have been many changes from 1.3.0, and bugs reports as well as feedback to the changes are well appreciated.

edit: You might also want to try out Orb because blizzard removed the background portraits on the characterframe.

The Texture Pack exists in 2 public versions at the moment which is blue and grey. The color is fixed in the graphic files which means for every additional color 'version', I would have to change every file again. So for now, I'll keep it with those 2 versions.

As the color is fixed in the files themselves, a class-colored version is not possible, unless you want to have 11 folders and change them everytime you change from one class to another.

have you thought of making other colors aswell? i just have a little request if you dont mind make green texture pack pls or just make it class colored if thats possible... grats for this addon its awesome!

Thanks a bunch for that. I figured out how to copy your code text into the folder it took me a good 15 mins to figure out but i got it which is the main thing everything is back to normal now pretty as ever! woot woo! thanks for everything now looks great Awesome UI everyone one of the best around should really look into it if want to play with style and easy on the eyes. I'm not working that much anymore on this version, since the PTR is already up and soon the game will be patched to the Mists of Pandaria Interface Code and i have still some work to do on that version (thanks to blizzard's fuck-ups).

Now for your askings:

This should change the icons to your likings as you wished. I wonder if you updated to the newest version since i thought i included the guild icon fix there ?!
In the MOP version, all original icons are modified to square and you can use the original icon on every frame or choose to use the miirgui icons

Anyways, concerning the scrollbars; i would happily change those, would be a deal of ~10 minutes, the thing is i don't have an active cataclysm account anymore, and with my starter edition account i can't open up the GuildFrame for example. Also i can't currently test it @ the MOP Beta because the command used to change those scrollbars (namely .GetRegions()) is crashing the client at the moment. You see the scrollbar background is no texture but only a colored layer.

So for your second request, i'll do that when the Beta runs stable again.

a little help...

Okie i have two questions one is originally when had guild page open instead of horde symbol it was the guild banner/emblem in top left corner and it was nice now i did the final blue zip from other files download after a couple months of not updating and it changed to that....is there a way i can change it back to guild image....
second is the scroll bar on Guild News Page its all blacked out and not textured like the others.....
and lastly can that horde symbol be transferred to the PVP tab so when open pvp tab instead of it being the victory rush symbol its the horde symbol? :]

guild button info tab bottom right.

and one last thing not to be a pest if can change icons for the top right symbols how to change from the gyra symbol on dungeon journal to possibly the gold and black book symbol?

Of course it is possible to style, the thing is that i don't play with the default Ui, so i might oversee some things

Paladin Holy Power bar should be skinnable, im gonna have a look.

This is interesting.

But I have to ask, there are a few parts of the UI that aren't styled, like the Paladin bar thing that hangs down on the player frame. Is it not yet possible to style that?

I really like this GFX pack, Normally I wouldn't post this but since you do include a square minimap I ditched my old minimap addon that did the same. However it would be nice if you could add it so your minimap zooms with the mouse-wheel, and maybe make it so you can open the calendar with right click, Tracking with middle mouse and ping with left click.

Currently I jacked code from "minimap click" addon to do the ping/track/calendar stuff and also jacked code from "pminimap" to do the mouse-wheel zoom and added it to your core.lua. Would be nice if you could add those features to your current square map.

I also use "Detached minimap buttons" to move buttons off the minimap to anywhere on my UI, and also it hides minimap buttons that i don't need but that's a lot more then a simple 30 lines of code to add to accomplish that task. Just thought I mention it in-case someone else was wanting the same thing.

Besides these small things I really like your gfx pack and I am basing my entire UI around it. Will post pic soon.

I agree completely. I have actually been using miirGUI for a long time now, but since I built my own UI package, the blue border really doesnt fit at all. Nor does it seem to fit with many other peoples either, no offense! I would be willing to put in the time to change all the files myself if I knew how. Right now I'm experimenting with Aurora AND Miir. I would just rather use your package alone if it wasnt for the blue border.

Also, I am following the direction below to delete the file buttons/UI-Quickslot2.blp in hopes to remove the icon border and it doesnt seem to be working for me.
Suggestions?

Lastly, what files govern the bag slot buttons?

P.S. despite my bitching about the blue border, I really appreciate you making this skinning pack. Its been a faithful companion to my UI for a long time. Thanks for what you do.
