old unit frames

hey, I'm really enjoying the interface, but I have a question - is it possible to get the unitframes looking how they did before the update? How could I reposition them? thank you in advance

I was wondering if you would be able to help out with using it to skin the icon in an add-on called Sexycooldown (alternatively one called Cooline). Both are great for tracking spell availability, and are an integral part of many peoples' game. If you have any advice on where to put the code, it'd be greatly appreciated.
Again, I'd like to offer kudos on a fantastic job.
Hey, last question: is it possible to make the top and or bottom bars which frame the screen slightly larger in the config file you've included?
Rock on!
Thanks adaroundtown!

I will have a look at Sexycooldown and see if I can add !beautycase borders to it. I should tell you though that doing so is possible by creating a "skin-sexycooldown-addon" which would be cool, but I don't know how to do that. The only way I know to do it is to edit the addon itself, which leaves you with the trouble of editing the code everytime you update the addon. However, adding !beautycase borders only requires the actual addon "!beautycase" and then one line of code in the addon you want to skin. It's just that is has to be on the right place in the code, sort of. Anyways, I'll see if I can make it work and PM you about it, when I get the time

That'd be great! It's been a busy week, but finally had a chance to test it out a bit last night. Everything works a treat!

With bartender, for some strange reason it won't let me move the druid shapeshift bar anywhere. It's stuck at the side of the screen despite the bars being unlocked. It wont even highlight green when i click unlock.

Have you considered using reflux? To save the position/settings of the addons so people just type one command in when they load their alt, and it puts everything into place for them.

Also what is the big space in the bottom right for? Seems empty/wasted. Maybe a skinned Omen window? (I'm tank ) )

I think that's it for the moment! Going to try and play with it for a few hours and see if it grows on me
The install prompt has been removed since it isn't needed any more. The latest release (uploaded only a few hours ago) has updated installation instructions that addresses this.

As for bartender.. No idea. I have no problems moving the class bar around. I haven't touched any of that code in Bartender.

Reflux, no. There's really only 2 addons you need to choose profiles in, everything else is where it should be, except maybe TinyDPS depending on your resolution. And Grid has 2 profiles. I don't think it's worth including reflux when you can set those 2 profiles yourself in less than a minute

I'm not using anything in the bottom right corner except tooltip. I prefer it open. I don't need omen since I play dps and healer, and the bottom panel acts as a threat bar when in combat.

Thanks! I'll be working on the boss frames today, I want to get them out there working.

I don't use that since my guild doesn't allow that (we go with free weapon enchants instead), but I'll have a look at it. Do you have "autorepair" turned on aswell?

That sounds fair, I'll have that fixed for next release

Yeah, I'm still working on the bossframes and I have them turned off until I'm done with them, which will be next release

(the blizzard scale slider isn't there that is the one I am after)

Edit: On a site note the buffs are acting funny the default blizz hides a bunch thing is like over the middle of them then I mouse over it and a bunch of them vanish and it looks all funky....
I have turned off UI scaling because doing so would mess up the border textures in the UI, resulting in people asking me why everything looks like sh*t when they scale the UI

About the buffs, head into interface options (blizzards one) and turn off consolidate buffs. Sounds like that's on.

That's a mistake by me. The latest version doesn't require any install, all you need to do is paste the FONTS, INTERFACE and WTF folders where they should be and do the renaming process in the WTF folder. And activate the proper profiles in Grid/Bartender ofcourse. However, I forgot to update the installation instructions. Thanks for letting me know, I'll make sure to have that done proper until next release.

As I wrote, I forgot to remove that instruction from the install manual. The UI should launch proper (you only need to set the correct profiles in Bartender and Grid) even though the install prompt doesn't show up, since it's been removed on purpose. If the UI doesn't load at all, you've done something wrong when you first installed the UI, so I'd suggest a clean install. Just skip the step that tells you to press the install-button.
