Features:
  • Slim and readable overview of current battleground.
  • Allows you to quickly send reports. About the current position or any other on the map.
  • Capture timers of all battleground nodes are tracked.
  • Health of the gates is visible on Isle of Conquest and Strand of the Ancients.

Keybinds:
  • Hold Shift + Alt to hide all player blips and show node timers/gate health.
  • Click any node to open report menu.
  • Click score estimator to send it to battleground channel.
Known limitations:
  • If player join IoC/SotA that is already in progress REPorter will try get current gate health levels from other REPorter users. If it fail to synchronize - All values that might be incorrect will be shown in red. Additionally some reports will be disabled to prevent sending incorrect data to other players.
  • Deepwind Gorge estimator might don't work correctly.
  • If for some reason you want force REPorter to work in English language mode open Locals directory and delete your language file.
TODO:
  • Allow sending some crucial BG data between users of REPorter.
  • Add options to resize map.
  • And many, many other smaller things...

I have a request about koKR.lua encoding.
Your koKR.lua files are encoding by ANSI, so these are just chunk number
I can't read that any TXT editor. Because it's... ....just number..number...number,

For example,
["East"] = "\235\143\153\235\172\184",

\235\143\153\235\172\184 ... it is neither Korean nor language.

I want to see the koKR.lua like this ==> ["East"] = "동문",

To do this,
Maybe file encoding will must be changed ANSI to UTF or UTF+BOM.
(I'm not programer)

That is not encoding fault. All non-ASCII characters are escaped. That is not a bug I made that on purpose.
That way is safer.

Thanks, I was wrong about it.
Anyway many the other Addons are correctly work non-ASCII characters.(koKR, zhCN,zhTW...)

I need it for the following reasons.
If I found incorrect(or wrong) translation on the addon,
I will check the koKR.lua file using "Searching word(Korean)" to find 'Orignal Keyword(English)'.
But I can't find original maching 'English Keyword' because 'Escape non-ASCII characters option.'

Then, I will check the 'Localization' Section in CURSEFORGE step by step.
It takes too long time.

Flag Carrier

There is a need to quickly reports enemy flag carrier direction or current our flag position, on the Warsong Gulch and Twin Peaks.

1. Warsong Gulch ( http://www.wowwiki.com/Warsong_Gulch#Useful_Terminology )
gy / tun / ramp
fr / 2nd floor(between fr and roof) / roof (->Korean wowser call these 1F/2F/3F)

2. Twin Peaks(similar to Warwong Gulch)
gy / front(or mid) / ramp
fr / 2nd floor

I see,
I junt think more important information to our team about flag carrier direction/position than enemy numbers on the Warsong Gulch and Twin Peaks.

Especially flag position is not shown yet on the map,
after enemy obtain the the flag for a while.

In this case keyboard is faster than 3-4 rows of buttons...

I would end with something like this:

And that is not what I consider slim.

Also flag is displayed right after that is possible. That is only 3-4sec after pickup.

Also you should know that REPorter was not created to replace all PVP BG addons.
I have no plans to move all features from popular PVP BG addons to mine.
REPorter is map only with core features.

Personally I use it in conjunction with Capping.

EDIT:
Seen the screenshot. Sorry. I just don't like this idea.

Please save position

The placement of my map is always in the center when I enter a battleground - maybe this is only when I've logged out since last time being there - so anyway, the first thing I have to do when I enter a BG is place the map back where I want it.

Can you make it so that once I've placed it, it stays there between logons?

I love everything else about this addon, great work!!!! Much appreciated.

That is quite strange considering that position saving is already there.
REPorter save that position for each BG separately so when you use it first time map "jump" to center on every new BG. Maybe that is your problem?

If not - please turn on lua error reporting and paste here any REPorter error.
