BlkUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 2.3B
by: Blacksad [More]

RESOLUTION: 1920X1080

A sleek looking, minimalist, all purpose Rogue UI.

Everything is set to track buffs/debuffs/procs/CD times in PvE and should require next to no setup.

Although this is set up to be Rogue specific, you can simply use any character class.

For PvP target defensive cooldowns are tracked via Weakauras, and personal CC abilities via icons above nameplates.

Let me know if you have any questions.

(Ctrl click Skada button to reset data)

Directions:

The person who downloads this has to unpack everything using an application which can unzip folders (Winzip, etc.), and then put all the folders in his / her World of Warcraft folder.

Copy your current WTF/Interface folders to your desktop to back them up before installing.

You then place the downloaded WTF/Interface folders into your Wow directory in their place.

When you download this, edit the folders to rename them from the generic "Account Name", "Server", "Character" to your actual accountname - the same goes for the server- and characternames. Do this first, before you even load up the game. Otherwise, the settings for everything will not take, and you may have to do it over to get everything working properly.

Upon entering game, make sure all addons are enabled! Make sure "Load out of date Addons" is checked!!!

Once loaded with all addons enabled, you will get a pop-up asking if you want to install BlkUI. Choose "Yes", and you should be pretty much good to go.

If any profiles for specific addons have issue loading, you may choose the Blk_UI profile for said addon.

You can then copy your bindings-cache.wtf and macros-cache.txt in from your backed up desktop folders, and keep your previous macros/keybindings.

Don't update Sharedmedia or Sharedmedia: Additional Fonts, as they it will overwrite the in-game font settings.

Addons Included:

Aurora, Bagnon, Bartender, Gnosis, Raven, Fonter, VuhDo, HideBossFrame, HideRaidFrame, Stuf Unit Frames, Reflux, SharedMedia, WeakAuras, Phanxchat, SexyMap, Skada, KgPanels, Tidyplates, Tiptac, DBM, HideBlizzardRaidFrame, Rogue Spam Reborn.

Changed loader to work correctly. (Thanks to Real of RealUI!)

Added in the option to toggle most of the UI on/off at will.

Redid boss frames to look better and have a castbar.

Lots of odds and ends.

I am also having issues installing the UI.

I have renamed the server, character and account folders (although I have multiple accounts and upon login am asked which account, then goes to create new character screen etc).

Upon loging in, it looks as if it is a half mix between the original UI and yours, so I try /reflux switch BlkUI and yes it reloads but now the little action bar isnt showing abilities etc etc.

:/

Any advice would be welcomed as ive been looking to use the UI for some time

You can do /reflux switch BlkUI manually if the install isn't working correctly. You may have to manually choose the BlkUI profile for a few addons with this method howerver.

Random Boxes?

Just a quick thing (I've gone through the addons and couldn't find anything), how do I fix these?

http://i.imgur.com/pVLSsjX.jpg

Green: I switched my Bartender4 bars around and now there's random borders. I just want to get rid of the borders.
Blue: VuhDo never seems to load properly. It always comes out like that. How do I fix that?

Thanks for your help guys

The Add-On is Weak Auras.. It can be accessed through /wa , at which point you will have to find the "group" the combo points are in and select it.. It should then be movable.

WeakAuras

I changed the trigger for the combo points overlay and can't remember what the original trigger was since i changed it to evangalism since i like this on my priest and finally decided to get back on my rogue and can't remember what it was.

Also I changed the 2 offensive ability bars below SnD & RVS (grabbed these two from screen shot before i couldn't remember). I just need the triggers and names that were displayed on the 2 bars below RVS while they were active was active.

Now i'm just planning on duplicating those so that i can switch between my rogue and priest with no issues.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Buffs and Chat frame help

I was able to get my Debuffs showing properly after watching this video, I'll leave it here so anyone else with the same problem can watch it Here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THlK...ilpage#t=1227s I have it started at the time that he makes his debuffs bar, just by watching him you can get an idea on how to get your debuffs to show and customize it however you like.

Nice! Glad I could help. I spent around 4 hours yesterday just to customize everything to my likings. I really like this repack, but did not appreciate the lack of forwardness in regards to customization. Especially when some main addon's options seems to be coded to unload every single time, making it even harder to customize.

About the buffs, sorry, I do not know what addon controls it. From my "crusade" of finding what addons are what, I've found out a hefty little command tool implemented on WoW as part of their DebugTools.
Type in /fstack on chat, then mouse over a particular object on your UI, in this case the buffs. It should tell you what addon it is like this. Hope this helps.
Raven does buffs/debuffs/timeline, and the omniCC like timers on icons. /raven and change or move whatever you'd like. Yeah, I'm having trouble getting my debuff tooltips to show as well, so I'm not sure what the deal is with it.
