Removing default buff display

Hey,

I'm trying to modify this so that only specified buffs pop up on name plates,

so remove non specified buffs
and remove spell casts

Any help with either would be greatly appreciated!

Platebuffs itself is OK. There is a problem with other addons. Try to find out, disabling them. I had this bug, it gone when I disabled Diminishing Returns.
You can replace
Code:
libs\LibNameplate-1.0\lib.xml
to
Code:
## libs\LibNameplate-1.0\lib.xml
in DiminishingReturns.toc.

Yeah it seems Diminishing Returns was bugging it for me too. Thanks a lot for the help, you're a lifesaver!

For me the buffs appearing on wrong nameplates problem was related to Icicle. I had to switch to VialCooldowns.

Question Mouseover macro + PlateBuffs - help?

Hi!

Thank you so much for keeping this addon alive - i can not tell you how much it helps me enjoy PVP.

I am however having issues when using mouseover macros, because PlateBuffs wont update unless i mouseover the actual nameplate(not char). So f.ex; if i use a mouseover macro to sheep someone other than my current target, then PB wont show the Polymorph icon unless i mouse over the actual NAMEPLATE (not char).

I've tried googling, and i saw a post reporting the same issue from 2010 but no fix.

Is there any way to fix this? Does anyone have any ideas? I've tried deleting and reinstalling the addon with no luck..

Any help would be VERY appreciated!

yeah same bug here. Can't really figure out when they appear on a different target but with this bug it isn't any helpful anymore.

Does anyone know how to disable general spells from showing and only have specific spells show up big above the nameplates?

Nope, checked the frames.lua and it no longer contains size options.

Maybe you picked an older version and edited it's toc?

E: 1.14.0 and 1.14.1 still have it ^^

considering your changelog, gonna use 1.14.1 for now
