Description
A DPS maximiser. Displays a sequence of icons from left to right, representing the order in which you should use your abilities so that maximum DPS may be achieved.

We Don't Wipe is very fully featured and configurable. You must download separately the modules.

DPS "Rotations" or "Priority Queues"
WDW presents, as a queue, the next few abilities you should use. Allowance has been made for the Talents you have chosen, even if they are not optimal. Due to randomness and "procs" in the game, the queue might suddenly change so be ready to react!

We Don't Wipe is perfect for anyone wishing to come to grips with the latest thinking for the mechanics of a class/specialisation through to seasoned raiders wishing to maximise their DPS.

For notes specific to a class/spec you should see the respective Module download page.

Charges
Some players need to collect so many "charges" and then activate certain spells. For example, Maelstrom Weapon, Arcane Charges and Tigereye Brew. These are fundamental to achieving decent DPS and We Don't Wipe displays your class relevant "charge" prominently at the head of the queue.

Exclusions
Dislike the author's inclusion of (for example) Flying Serpent Kick in the rotation? You have the option to exclude any spell from the queue.

Cooldowns
Directly under the queue is a smaller set of icons. These are your Cooldowns. These are fully configurable and WDW provides for just about anything, including but not limited to bag items, gear, buffs and spells.

Some abilities are more correctly considered 'timed recharges' and some classes have important stacking buffs/debuffs. WDW will make these appear just like a cooldown, complete with the sweeping 'second hand'. See Cool Aid for full details.

A Monk's Power Strikes is handled with unsurpassed accuracy.

Distance to Target
Blizzard consciously prevent us from knowing the exact distance to a target. WDW provides a very accurate range estimation for all target types. Mob in range of your Frost Nova? Are you at 40 yards yet? WDW exceeds other AddOns in accuracy. For a few more options see also this author's Hard Yards AddOn.

Beast, Critter, Humanoid or Dragonkin?
Polymorph and other abilities need this information. WDW displays the mob classification, type and family. You will be informed whether you are against a Rogue or Warrior and whether your target is Elite, Rare or a Minion. Is that a transformed player, or a pet?

Interrupts, Mob Dispels and Friendly Dispels
Depending upon your target, WDW will show a small action-relevant icon under your main rotation whenever it is possible to interrupt or dispel.

Performance
Unlike its competitors, WDW does NOT track your combat log so it it is not CPU hungry. WDW does NOT require a lot of memory and will not throttle your FPS. Periodically, WDW cleans up any computer memory which is no longer required.

Not a Level 100 Elite Tauren Chieftain?
We can't all be level 100 and WDW works for all levels, providing you have a specialisation (i.e. level 10).

How to Report Bugs & Suggest Improvements New!
Go to Tickets as your issue or idea may already have been listed. Please remove your list of AddOns from any bug dumps. Please identify the class/spec module you are using. You might prefer to use the forum on this page and allow the author to decide if a ticket is necessary. It is up to you.

How to Instal
As you would any other AddOn. You will need one of the modules (links above). Quit the game completely. Relaunch. Enjoy.

How to Move WDW
Firstly go to "Game Menu" then "Interface" then "AddOns". For We Don't Wipe look at "Queue Settings". Ensure "Locked" is not checked. Return to the game. Hover the mouse over the centre of the first ability icon in the main queue. Must be in the centre area. Now hold down the left mouse button and drag and release. Easy!

Liking your addon but would love if you could include the modules the way Ovale does. Every time I update, I have to back up everything and manually copy the modules back in.

Bug Fix + New Feature

A player somehow exceeded the max number of "active" spells I preload into a table. Table extended by 14 to 70. Should be heaps.

While I was at it I added a new feature: You can now enter an ID number (from a datamining website such as Wowhead) in order to specify a cooldown to show or exclude!

Because of the bug fix I have delayed the Windwalker Monk update again, sadly.

Stay a While and Listen!

Moving forward I have lots of exciting ideas, the least of which is adding more class/specs!

I am aware of the need for some players to be able to click through the queue textures. You are not ignored.

I am also aware that the Tooltips are helpful to many players, at least while they are getting their head around an unfamiliar rotation and sure beats trying to work this out for yourself off some pro-player website.

Some of you will be aware that I have already forked the Cooldown side of things into its own AddOn (which incidentally can be made to work in with WDW - it is by design!) and this "forking" will be extended with a quantum leap eventually. Some of the existing and planned features of Cool Aid might find their way over to WDW!

Windwalkers and 5.4 - Why the Delay?

I know what needs to be done for 5.4: Support for Tier16 4pc.

Not a simple task as this module has a very complex routine within the queue building process which will need major changes.

Yup, no-one will have 4 pieces for several weeks (lol) so if I can't get my head around the routine tomorrow during my lunch break (heck, I was the one wot wrote the thing!) then I'll upload a 5.4 compliant module with T16 to come later.

The WW module is one of the ones I am most pleased with as I know I got the Chi juggling in the queue 100% right and there ain't nothing like it out there in AddOn land!

great add on

I just want to say great add on by the way. I am totally loving it Had a few issues at first figuring out how to to install the module and i did not know what to open the file with but got it down. I am playing right now on my 34 Elemental Shaman. Was only 30 when i started with your add on. It has really helped with my Rotations as this is my first shaman.

I was wondering however since i just hoped on my Level 90 Feral Druid if you would have any modules for it. I am sorry if it is in the thread already. Just was skimming. I have not played on it in a while and instead of getting my butt kicked need a refresher and i really love how it works and it feels very comfortable.

Elemental Shaman is LIVE!

With Patch 5.4 upon us I really must look at being ready with any updates. Patches force EVERY AddOn to undergo a small one line change, at best. Factor in changes to abilities and some WDW modules may need some work.

I have a volunteer for Fury Warriors (as I don't do them). Which is great news. Fury will be next up.

I want to do Unholy DKs, especially as I have a L90 toon.

And for some reason I have never considered a Ret Pally module. Heck I have a max level toon. Just never thought about it until now!

That will be a real problem as my Warrior is very very low level.

In regards to classes/specs I do not play:

I am willing to work with someone, even if they cannot do LUA programming. They would have to commit to receiving PMs from me, realise that time zones might work against us, understand that initially there would be a flurry of trivial programming errors to overcome as I use a basic text editor as my only development tool which means that sometimes I have lots of typos , and be willing to stand at target dummies for 15 minutes at a time! In return they would receive dual credit for the module, including in-game mention.

Not the first time 'click through' has been requested. Will add it to my list of things to do. Problem though:

All tooltips would have to be removed. This would disadvantage new players who are using WDW as a tool to familiarise themselves with a rotation.

Solution would be to have two different setups. Memory footprint would increase, maintenance would become more difficult, CPU hit should be negligible (a few 'if' statements). Not a small task .

Yes. A solution for now would be to turn off the CD display (via the Options Panel) and to instal my 'Cool Aid' AddOn. CA does the same as the Cooldowns part of WDW but is more fully featured. Might do your request in WDW in the future.

Will re-test this, under a variety of conditions. My definition of "In Combat" is broader than most people. If I detect that a mob is aggressive toward you then I will display the interface, even if you have no target selected. Why? One reason is so that you can tell if you have been targeted by a player (on a PvP server) while you are out in the world questing/chilling. That is very useful. It works nicely for me, for example, when doing the weekly Booty Bay fishing contest.

From memory, if you are in any kind of dungeon or raid, I call this "in combat" too. The Options Panel tooltips do make my rather broad idea of "combat" clear.

Nevertheless, I will re-test.

1) For the people having trouble moving the icons, try changing the icon size to 50+ and you'll see where the tooltip disappears and you hear the little noise. A message appears in chat that says "You may now move We Don't Wipe! also". I cannot get this to appear if the icon is < 50 as I run with it at 25

2) Is there any way you can remove the tooltip on mouseover? What would be even better is make it completely click through and possibly transparent. That way I can keep it right by my monk's head but not have it interfere with looting or clicking on mobs I want to attack.

3) Is there a way to detach the cooldown bar so I can put it under my character? Would it be possible to make the cooldown bar clickable? That would be fantastic if so because then I can see something is off cooldown and just click on it rather than remember the keybind.

4) I notice when I uncheck "Always show" sometimes the cooldown bar stays after combat and only goes away unless I go in and check/uncheck the box again. Sometimes selecting a target and then unselecting it will clear it but not always.

Hmmm... All I can suggest is that you try the above procedure with no other AddOns. I am suspecting a conflict with some other AddOn here. Please report back, as I am keen to help you.
