DPS Rotations/Priorities
The author has already researched the most popular and effective rotation for your character. Allowance has been made for the Talents you have chosen. We Don't Wipe presents the next few abilities you should use. Due to randomness in the game, the queue of abilities will constantly change depending upon cooldowns, critical strike "procs", useful combinations, and so on.
We Don't Wipe is perfect for anyone wishing to come to grips with the latest thinking for the mechanics of a class/specialisation. Perfect for beginners through to raiders. SimCraft style complicated rotations have so far not been included.
Features
A queue stretching from left to right across your screen. Pinwheel and numeric cooldowns for these are displayed. If a character has an important "charge up" ability, such as Maelstrom Weapon, Lightning Shield or Arcane Charge, then it will be displayed in a dynamic, animated manner. The number of icons, size of icons and screen placement are fully customisable.
A series of mini-icons are presented. The first three (not illustrated in the screenshots) are warnings that the target has an interruptable spell, the target has a buff able to be dispelled, the player or friendly target has a debuff able to be dispelled.
Cooldowns
The remaining mini-icons are your cooldowns. You can configure this list while playing, using the built in editor. It is powerful and intuitive. Racials like Berserker are supported.
How to Instal
Install as you would any other addon. Go to "Interface" and then "Addons" from the game menu to adjust to your liking. Look at the addon file headers where there is lots of descriptive text if you want to get down and dirty. Try also /wdw from any in game chat channel.
How to Move WDW
Firstly go to "Game Menu" then "Interface" then "AddOns". For We Don't Wipe look at "Queue Settings". Ensure "Locked" is not checked. Return to the game. Hover the mouse over the centre of the first ability icon in the main queue. Must be in the centre area. Now hold down the left mouse button and drag and release. Easy!
Your Rotation Queue & Your Cooldown Icons - Adjusting their Synergy
Monitoring your cooldowns is an important part of any fight and it is important for your cooldowns to be integrated into your rotation during a boss fight but conversely really annoying to have a rotation cluttered unnecessarily while clearing trash and questing. Here's how to adjust the synergy:
Hover your mouse over any mini-icon OR the last icon of the queue. Moving the mouse-wheel results in toggling the cooldown display mode between: (1) BOSS - show the cooldowns as a fixed list of mini icons below the main queue, with CDs sometimes also appearing in the main queue, depending upon whether or not it was sensible to include them in the rotation; (2) TRASH - still show the list of small CD icons but don't include them in the rotation as no-one needs to blow CDs on trash!; (3) NEVER - don't show a list of mini CD icons and never include in the rotation. Alternatives: If you really must you can enter "/wdw boss" in chat to step one by one through the 3 options. Bi-directional keybindings are also supported.
Performance
WDW doesn't try to trap and track combat events, or guess at when an ability might be off cool down and then try to piece it all together. Instead it relies upon being regularly (every couple of 100ths of a second) polled by Blizzard's server. It makes "calls" to Blizzard for information (i.e. "API calls") and works around (using avoidance/alternatives) any that are unreliable/unready.
If you do think that WDW is weighing you down, you can configure things such as how often it cycles.
Known Issues
None known presently.
See the Change Log for details of changes in recent versions.

* Fun stuff (Core + Interface)
v1.05
====
* Fix bug when switching from Frost to Arcane, with no zone change and then generating 1 Arcane Charge
v1.04
====
* Frost Death Knights added
* Massive performance boost. No longer throttles cpu (lesson: don't blindly trust what you read on the net, test for yourself!)
* Tooltips for all icons
* Keybindings revamped, including the bug in v1.03. Now bi-directional for both rotation & cooldown
* Mouse wheel support as an alternative to keybindings
* Frost Mages no longer prompted for Water Elemental when mounted
* Slight range text placement adjustment to allow for null queues (unlikely as it is)
* The forced English language for a player's "specialisation" removed. Thus more non-English friendly
* Shaman Reincarnation correctly shows when dead and not on CD
* Mage Tier 2 talent no longer assumed to be Ice Barrier (unlikely as that would be in PvE)
v1.03
====
* Frost Mages added
* Revamped the AoE rotations for Mages
* Fixed bug with a rarely appearing phantom cool down for the last spell in the queue
* Fixed an AoE rotation addon crash for one of the Mage specs
* Added debug code for a couple of very rare errors due to Blizzard returning nil data for an API call, one relating to the "charge" counts to the left of the main queue icon.
v1.02
====
* Arcane Mages added
* Fire Mages added
* Mini icons to display Interrupts/target dispel/player dispel/cooldowns
* More complicated rotations
* More configuration options
* Minor bug fixes, too numerous to mention
* Split main file into several files to ease management
v1.01
====
* Elemental Shaman added
* The "Strictly no AoE" mode has been incorporated into the other modes, accessible by clicking on a key binding.
* The tables of rotations, spells and actions have been edited to facilitate expansion as well as to protect against trampling on other add-ons due to shared naming.
* The range estimation now never tests spells, only items. It took me a long time of experimenting to get the distances right and to hunt down the items.
* Previously stuck on "Automatic" due to carelessness.
* Perhaps some minor cosmetic bugs. I really forget. Nothing remarkable.
Version 2.0 is currently being coded. A fairly extensive rewrite necessitated by my removing all traces of the Ace3 add-on dependancy as well as the expansion of the in-game Interface Panel from one to at least 3, including a help panel and the ability to edit the cooldown list from in-game.
Plus lots of little fixes such as properly checking for characters in the level range 80 to 89 to ensure that spells are indeed available.
the Hunter and Warlock community would forever be in your debt... any chance on support anytime soon?
Thank you. I am still wondering what spec to do first for Warlock. My lock is L85 so it could feasibly be done. Like DK, I will be relying upon a lock expert to play test / co-develop the addon so when I get around to doing it it will be done very well.
I'm using this for a frost mage, and I really like it, but I have not been able to figure out how to move the icons for the queue. I followed the instructions, but the icons only show up when I have something targeted, and then I can't drag them to a different spot on the screen. They're right in the middle, making it difficult to place my water elemental's Freeze. What am I doing wrong? I'm left clicking and holding in the middle of the first icon.

Thanks.
(1) Got to Interface Options. UNCHECK the "Locked" checkbox.
(2) Target something. A critter perhaps. Or a target dummy. Anything killable.
(3) Place the mouse pointer in about the middle of the first icon.
(4) Left mouse button DOWN and DRAG.
(5) Profit.

My mouse interaction is fine with everything else. All I get here is a tool tip. It shouldn't matter that I'm on a Mac, should it?

The tooltip will disappear when you are in the centre. That is the key visual clue. Version 2.0 also shows a message in chat that WDW is now able to be moved. (In case you wonder - add-ons have a choice of displaying a tooltip or doing something like moving the add-on. Not allowed to have both at the same time).
when i change the icon size of the cd's (dk) the icons get VERY big and i cant change it anymore. the only thing i could do is to reinstall the addon. then the icon is at the normal size but if i try to change it again, the same things happen.
Arcane Brilliance stuck as first rec even after cast
Is there a way to get back to 1.something? Ever since I upgraded to 2.x, Arcane Brilliance is stuck as my first recommendation, (Frost Mage) even after it has been cast. Other icons move through a rotation, sort of, but AB never clears. This has been especially troublesome in dungeons. It almost looks as though the AB icon is on top of what ever I'm really supposed to be casting next.

Solution for now is to "/reload ui" or "/wdw del" in chat. No need to reinstall.

anyone know what i can do?
Solution: None. Do NOT use "Following Icon Sizes". Click "Cancel" or "Defaults" as applicable to restore. No need to reload or restart the Add-on. Will need a fix in v2.02.
Blood DKs are getting this message more than once but only while tanking, at sporadic intervals, sometimes spammed a few times in a row. This should not happen. Will investigate and fix.
Edit: Dumb programming error. No work around for players. Only v2.02 will stop this nonsense. Fixed in unreleased v2.02.
Not a bug but a curiosity. Frost DKs - watch the decisions for the queue closely and don't jump to conclusions. If you disagree, especially with apparently not saving up for a possible Killing Machine which will surely happen soon then I want to hear a solid argument. We will then go back to play testing YOUR idea.
When testing on target dummies all specs need to test for quite some time due to:
(1) smooth out RNG spikes
(2) wrong keypresses due to not repsonding quick enough to very rapidly changing main queue icon
(3) wrong keypresses due to unfamiliarity with the rotation choices / unexpected choices
Fire Mages are notorious sufferers (still) for (1) above. Forst DKs may be surprised that we aren't more agressively saving up for a Killing Machine. Users of Blood Tap will think the add-on is too keen to suggest a Blood Tap, sometimes 2 in a row. Give it a good try!
For Mages in general testing might be moot. 5.2 means the rotations will definitely need to be redesigned all over again. Sad face.
Alas I used the "following icon sizes" and have created massive icons on my screen.
I have removed the add on and re installed - and they are still there.
I looked online and a simple fix was using the cancel or default button.
I sincerely apologize for my stupidity but for the life of me I cannot find either of those buttons. There is no restore to default option anywhere visible in the architecture of the program, through the interface etc.

Please advise
Cancel and Default buttons are buttons common to all Add-Ons which use Interface options. Accessed via the "Interface" button of your "Game Menu".
Might be easier for you to not bother with this Add-On until 5.2 hits. THen watch for v2.02 of this Add On hopefully shortly after.
