    5.3.0 Alpha 1
    - Tested to work with 5.3 scenarios/BG
    - Warehouse tooltips updated, will now show when you click an item in chat
    - New Module! Carbonite.Weekly, tracks your alts progression on weekly objectives... more to be added later, idea's of what should be added always welcome
    - New Loading routines, Carbonite no longer quietly during loading screen, but after when game is loaded. This causes a small delay once your ingame as everything initalizes, but stops FPS drops if you login during combat. Will wait until you exit combat to load aswell.
    - New option under maps, compatability mode. If your using an alternate UI and are experiencing protected function errors, enable this.
    - New NPCScan overlay module in extra to handle the new way carbonite loads.
    - I'm sure there is other things i'm forgetting... I really should track what I add better :P

    Errors in BGs...
    I'm getting this error when I try to minimize the quest watch window. When I click minimize the second time, the watch window goes to its minimize position, but doesn't actually minimize. This is only in BGs... it minimizes fine when just in normal content. Haven't checked it in dungeons yet.

    Beta working fine for me
    I just installed the beta on my laptop last night and on my desktop this morning. On my laptop I had wowmatrix install the beta and when I went into the game it asked me the map integration question and I set up my setting and it's been working fine. I opted to get rid of the old configs.

    This morning on my desktop I removed my old Carbonite directories first and then installed the same Beta and set up my settings and it seems to be working fine. I haven't received any errors and am not having any problems.

    It is advisable to remove the folders, you don't need to worry about WTF, Carb uses an entirely new save format now so everything previously saved is lost (for now). I'm working on a way to keep both going so people can go back to 5.1 if they need to.

    Hmm... somethings not installed right if your using the beta, NxFav is no longer part of carbonite and is it's own seperate module in Carbonite.Notes

    Thanx for keeping Carboinite up to date
    One thing though I did see and couldn't find an option to change it or may be overlooking it but, I have to zoom in really close in order to get the detailed map to display on the carbonite map. So close that if I zoom in one more middle mouse button up that the Minimap gets docked onto the Carbonite map. I love the detailed map but cannot get it adjusted to the point where I like to have the zoom and detailed map displaying at the same time. Also I keep getting this LUA error about Fav.

    Edit: N/m about the details scale, it was under the right click menu on the map under scale then details at scale slider.

    5.2.1 beta
    Hey, I just logged in to find this update, and was actually moved to stir myself & comment: Fantastic!

    The map + minimap integration looks AWESOME. Very crisp - the embedded minimap used to bob back and forth as you travelled, shrinking & growing as the player arrow shifted off-center. Also, the alignment used to be off by a few pixels (regardless of scale & zoom) but it appears bang-on now, very nice!

    I like that the options panel is now in the games interface options window. (The carbonite menu windows always acted funky, sometimes above & sometimes behind other windows. Tricky to bring to the front again. (edit: sneaky! I just noticed the replaced friend's list window)


    I didn't realise at first that all carbonite options had been basically reset - I went through the list puzzled - "But, I set this YEARS ago, and forgot about it.."


    Anyways, all in all, I can see a lot of work has gone into this. Thank you very, very much!

    Unhappy This objective is not in the database
    My biggest problem with Carbonite right now is that it seems to say "This objective is not in the database" for most of the quests I get now. Is there something I can do to help this or are the quests just not there yet?
