A fan update of cargBags_Nivaya for Mists of Pandaria. Thanks to all addon coders who contributed to this update.


About

This is an inventory addon featuring item filters, new items, support for item sets, empty bagspace compression and alot more. It is a layout for cargBags. However, cargBags 2.x is included, so you don't need to download it separately.


Features
  • You can freely move the main inventory window (and the bank window), all the other containers move as you move that one.
  • Containers for Consumables, Quest Items, Armor/Weapons, Trade Goods and Junk.
  • Container for Blizzards Equipment Manager.
  • Container for new Items (items you recently obtained).
  • Empty containers are hidden, without just leaving an emtpy space.
  • Easy-to-use dropdown menu to move items between containers (alt + right-click an item).
  • Option to compress empty bagspace to a single slot.
  • Restack button to stack all items in your bags.
  • Sell Junk (toggle on/off) to automatically vendor all grey items.
  • Item sorting by rarity and item ID, so that identical items or stacks will be grouped together.
  • Clicking on the "Bags" Button allows you to switch bags and to buy new bag slots (bank).
  • The "New Items" Container
  • When you login using this layout the first time, all the items in your inventory will be marked as "new". This is because new items will exclusively be reset when you click the "Reset New" button, which should be your first action in order to have the items filtered to their corresponding category. The advantage of this behaviour is that items marked as new "survive" disconnects, logouts and reloading the UI.
    Of course, you can toggle this filter off via the slash command (/cbniv).


The Cool Stuff Container

Initially a filter on its own, it is now simply a container for items you want to have in a special place. You can activate it by moving one or more items to it via the context menu (alt + right-click).


Custom Containers

You can also add your very own custom containers, which behave just like the "Cool Stuff" container. By default, their priority is higher than the "New Items" container, so items assigned to one of these will never be marked as new. This priority can be lowered.

Add a container with /cbniv addbag name, remove one with /cbniv delbag name, list all existing with /cbniv listbags etc. Type /cbniv for a full list of available commands.


Configuration

Via the slash command /cbniv you can adjust the following settings:
  • Enable/disable some of the filters (new items, trade goods, armor/weapons and junk)
  • Adjust the overall scale.
  • Toggle bank background color between black and blue.
  • Toggle bank filtering.
  • Toggle empty bagspace compression.
  • Toggle item sorting.

By editing config.lua you can adjust the following settings:
  • Item size
  • Number of columns
  • Fonts
  • Color of bag frames

Haven't encountered that bug/taint (opened around 50+ boxes while testing this addon)
Maybe there's been a taint before (e.g. caused by UIDropDownMenu)

Regarding UIDropDownMenu, Nib, I would suggest to use a custom frame+button comb (since you're only using 1 menu level) to prevent all that existing and potential bugging and tainting.
Since I was receiving quite some taint reports, I simply replaced the UIDropDown-functionality with a script I used before for various other dropdowns. Let me know if you wanna take a look.

I have created a Teleport category/bag into which I have placed Hearthstone and Kirin Tor Beacon.
However I also have Runed Signet of the Kirin Tor, but there is no menu appearing on alt-right click.
I assume it is due to my use of Molinari or xanMortarPestle (tried both) which offer alt-left click disenchanting.

If a solution for the menu is not feasible, could there be a slash command say along the lines of /cbniv assign Teleport [item link].

I shall post comments on the addons themselves also, seeing if they can not prevent the alt-right click menu.

Ok, I see the problemo. Seems to occur when the Bank Frame isn't at the top-left of the screen, so when it's resized when you click on the Toggle Bags button it resizes both up and down, causing the frame to move off of pixel-perfect locations.

Keeping the frame at either the top or bottom of the screen should fix it.

I notice the frame is a little blurry, so it's currently not pixel-perfect causing the edges to be cut off. Is your Bag frame the same way?

I set icon size to 40



Its also sometimes happens to the normal bag after showing the bagslots it sometimes stay if you toggle bags back.

Aye, the Toggle Bag option is meant as a temporary means to access the bag items. Not sure what you mean about icon borders getting cut off. I still see them all on my end. Post a screenshot?

I can probably get an option in to show the Toggle Bags all the time, though I probably won't get around to another update until later this week.

There is no code based (without textures = pixel perfect) working one-bag addon around.
I'd like to switch to cargBags Nivaya right now I'm using DerpyStuffing.

Also If I klick on the Toggel bag button all icon borders get cut off. and the Toggel bag option is not saved between seasons :/

Also I haved Noticed a problem when moving the bank I get big FPS drops, in DerpyStuffing this was resolved by hiding the bagslots while moving. I have got an old 2.66gh Quad Core CPU soo...


Mahhh I realy need someone to Update DerpyStuffing I think that woud be the easy way :/

Hmm, intriguing. It was certainly never designed to be a one-bag addon. I'll see what I can do.

Edit: I could add auto-sorting to bags, but it kind of defeats the purpose of showing all empty slots. If you turn off sorting you should be able to place items wherever you wish and have them remain there.

Edit2: Uploading new version with Consumables added to filter options.

I tryed to disable all seperate bags to get a one bag addon

The pixel-perfect doesn't seem so perfect atm.

/cbniv scale 1 fixes it temporarily, resets after a UI reload.
