This tiny mod adds guild public note for members of your guild to the output of /who queries. See the Screenshot for an example. It can also display guild rank and officer notes. Use /whonote to toggle these options.
WhoNote should work in all languages, but it has only been tested in enUS.
[Note: This is standlone now. Using an addon framework was crazy overkill for something this tiny.]
Despite the age of this thing, it still works perfectly. Just click the Load out of date addons check box.

I think this mod isn't working again in 1.11... Most of the time when I /who I don't get guild public notes (though I'm not sure that's 100% of the time). Thanks
Rats... I'm having the problem too this time. I have changed a few things in my copy and I had hoped that I had broken it since the upload... I'll look into a fix for this.
Oh noes! It's not working again. I'm back to either having to toggle standby on/off or reload ui (/console reloadui) for whoNote to work on entering the game. I'm not sure what you did to fix it the last time... but my guess is somethign unfixed it, like I just got a new version of Sky that could do it (maybe?). Sky is annoying but Cosmos is a dream come true! Is there any hope for me? I think I may end up making a macro to turn standby on/off when I start or something. Thanks again.
Originally posted by DunE Fabulous! It works perfectly now. Thanks much. This mod is jsut too handy not to have. Especially if your guild is like mine and adds the real names of each member's alts to the public note so we know who the alt identity really is. Quick who and I got it. Thanks, tardmrr!
The alt naming is exactly why I wrote this. My guild does that too.

I think you are encountering a problem I saw and haven't found a way to get around. The easy workaround I found for myself was to open the guild pane once. Guild Roster information is very testy... Also, make sure that you have the latest version. In 0.3 I added some code that should have helped with this problem.
Cool mod! It does work well when it's working What I mean is that in order for it to work when I first start I have to toggle standby on and off again and then it's golden. When I first join and do a Who on a guild mate it gives a normal who message. Then I do:
/whonote standby
followed by
/whonote standby
and then do a who on a guildmate and it shows their public note this time as advertised! I do have Cosmos (which includes Sky). Not sure if this is the culprit or what...
thanks for the good mod/idea!
